Het pand is prachtig, de ligging is zeer centraal. Een vrij basale, maar nette en schone kamer met badkamer. Het personeel is vriendelijk. De muziek tijdens het ontbijt is storend. |

The person at the reception spoke very clear English, and the breakfast-buffet is quite alright - which both is very rare in Italy. The location is perfect - it is right in the middle of Verona. Just a few walking minutes away from many spots of interest (e.g. Romeo & Juliet's balcony). Paying with creditcard was no problem and didn't include any extra fees. Wi-Fi is available for a decent price. (5€/day) The entrance-hall seems quite impressive and comfortable. The staff was very nice. My (non-smoker) room had a nice balcony (room 120) - even 'though the flowers on it are made out of plastic and there was no Juliet under it telling me that she madly loves me.... on the good side - there was also no Romeo telling me so ;-) The room was not really clean, the furniture old and used up (screaming for renovation) - esp. the bathroom had many dark spots that might been mould. To operate the heater (which was on full power --> HOT ) you seem to have a masters degree in plumbing... Although the breakfast-buffet is quite good for Italian standards - you should not expect the same quality you are used from other Euopean countries ;) - The bed was quite soft (which I do not like). The shelf of keys, where the receptionist stores the keys and messages was really kinda filthy... If you didn't bring your own laptop - there is no way to use the internet (and internet-shops are quite hard to find in Verona). I think a fair price would be about 50 Euro/night. |

Perfect location near Roman and other sites of historic and cultural interest. Quite quiet despite being in a bustling pedestrian area. Large rooms, certainly by Euro standards. Big bathtub. Windows with shutters, fan and A/C for multiple "airing" options. Tasteful decor. Incredibly competent, responsive and understanding front desk staff. Plenty of hot water. Comfy bed. HIGH ceilings. Tasteful, seamless conversion linking what must be two or three very old houses. Reasonably fast internet. I have to work to find anything to complain about. Let's see...I forgot to suggest that they check the balance / ballast on the fan in one in one of the two rooms that was wobbling to the point that we did not feel comfortable using it (the other two in the other room, used by a friend with two small kids worked perfectly, and the weather was cool, so it was no problem). The (luckily very quiet) music by the (mostly unused) bar-type counter was oddly out of keeping with the classical charm of the place. The breakfast room is downstairs in a rather airless basement room, but the breakfast itself is fine. Moderate fee (5 euro, I think?) for each day's internet use. |

Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Verona The downstairs rooms are very dark and the ones at the back are very noisy especially early in the morning when breakfast is being prepared. But otherwise it was very nice. |

Excellent location in the absolute center of Verona but still slightly away from the busy streets. Good service, adequate breakfast. Ideal for a city weekend. |

Location, location, location. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town, and that is where you should be in Verona. The parking in the street using a special permit from the hotel worked out fine. My room was in the attic and very small. It felt a bit claustrophobic after a while. There was noise both from the street and from the corridor through the door. |

Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the location and decor. Room was darker and smaller than anticipated. Didn't like the small steps up to the bathroom. Tripped on them in the middle of the night. |

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent because Arena di Verona and other Veronese attractions are only minutes away Air condition was barely keeping up although the weather was not hot. |

it was so easy to enjoy Verona from the Hotel. Also walking distance to the Opera Would have liked kettle in room but this only a miner detail |

The hotel was ideally placed for sightseeing and the opera. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Our room was a little drab but the breakfast and reception areas were of a high standard. Car parking was nerve wracking. |

Perfect location, extremely helpful staff. There was no available legal parking space. While we were at the opera, the staff moved our car once one became available! Marginal air conditioning in room, expensive for size/quality of room. |

The reception staff were friendly and there was a good breakfast buffet. We had requested a room with bath (2 rooms) but when we got there we only had a shower. When we addressed this with the receptionist she told us that we had only made a request. We managed to get one room with bath but would have appreciated our request having been dealt with upon arrival and not afterwards. Other hotels have informed us where they were unable to supply a bath. The rooms were basic and the air conditioning was not very efficient. I didn't feel that they provided good value for money. |

Tje hostesses and hosts were the most gracious and accomodating I have ever experienced and i've experienced a lot. Being handicapped and senior were almost fun attributes. The breakfasts could easily last one thru the day. It was a great ten days. One can always find something to bitch about if that's your nature. Why bother???????? |

It was very central to all major city features and that is a major bonus when you take a city break withoutr a car. Rooms very poor in facilities , standard of decoration and size. |

The breakfast here is incredible! The location is also excellent, although a bit of a hike from the bus stop if you have luggage. They advertised as having Wifi, but they said it was not working at the time. Luckily, I was able to get free access as the local library. Even though I asked them not to change my towels - being environmentally friendly - they went & did so anyway - no green perspective here! |

The staff was terrific - very helpful and it was a good location in the city. I was surprised how big my single room was (for a European hotel). I agree with other posters that the walls are a little thin. |
