Not a bad location if you have a car. A chance to be in Florence and see a bit of the Tuscan countryside. The first impression is quite positive, even bordering on the luxurious. Very spacious rooms. The views were enjoyable, though not breathtaking. First impressions can be deceiving. We had a superior room. The bathroom was large, but there was mold on the shower walls and the shower basin did not drain properly. It's hard to believe that the drain issue would not have been reported by the previous guest since it prevented us from even using the shower. The dining area used for breakfast was the smallest we experienced in Europe. It was a small hassle to get around the other guests in order to get food, in stark contrast to the incredibly spacious guest rooms. The city tax (common in Italy and never included in the booking.com price) is double that of other hotels in Florence. The walk up from the road was not paved. There is no direct path from the parking area to the entrance, so you have to walk around a row of hedges and up the gravel path.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und verraucht obwohl ein Nichtraucherzimmer. Es war ok für 1-2 Nächte. Frühstück ist sehr minimal, ein Croissant und einen Kaffee aufs Zimmer. Es gibt keinen Frühstücksraum.

Ho trascorso quattro notti molto gradevoli, la camera l'ho trovata sempre pulita ed ho ricevuto sempre molte attenzioni dal personale. Dovendo lasciare la stanza la mattina molto presto ho potuto usufruire di una completa colazione in camera. Lo consiglio a tutti...

Molto vicino alla stazione di S. M. Novella e quindi al centro di Firenze (appena 10 minuti a piedi), proprietaria gentilissima, completa automomia negli orari di entrata/rientro grazie alle chiavi fornite, colazione buona e predisposta in camera completa di bollitore, pulizia. Onesto rapporto qualità - prezzo, accogliente. L'aspetto esterno lascia un attimo sospesi a primo impatto dato il palazzo di una certa età, ma la sensazione svanisce subito appena entrati al bb.
