excellent position, the room was larger than expected, very clean and comfortable, the wifi was quite fast, the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the porter deserved a medal for getting our bags to our room. We loved our room and the decor in the hotel was very Venetian which added to the atmosphere for our stay.
too many stairs to walk up and down to get to our room making it a little awkward for our elderly mother
Super clean and warm. breakfast has the best cake ever. please send me some...i can still feel its taste.
the room was a bit small and the furniture was different from the one i saw over the net.
Location is really excellent, few metres from San Marco square: say no more. Polite staff.
Usual small rooms, per Venice standard. Uninspiring breakfast.
Breakfast was wonderful, location was very central and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small, but very typical of Venice, but very clean and had everything you'd need.
Friendly staff Breakfast Allowed us that the kids can stay in our room and provided comfortable blankets Efficient room set up Bath tab Window at Canal Wifi Location Above very nice restaurant
Not easy to find
near the place
staff very good
bit on the small side
Ideal location. Access to boats/canal for rail and air transport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Super breakfast.
No lift but staff very helpful carrying luggage.Rooms quite basic but comfortable and clean.
Good breakfast. Reasonable location. Good price. Beautiful rooms. Bathroom really spacious.
No elevator. Difficult to get to room as need to use the stairs. Especially carrying luggage..
- very comfort, clean, spacious for 4 people, 120vac power connection, central location, very good breakfast, very good wi-fi
- no elevator, has to carry luggages to third floor.
location between St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge.
walk up to 4th floor
Perfect place if you don't carry too much bags.
Hotel was very central, within minutes walk to St Mark's Square, Grand Canal, water buses, and lots of shops and good restaurants in the immediate area - and quiet inside. Décor was very traditional and welcoming. Excellent breakfast and dining area, and staff provided good information. Staff were available to carry our cases up and down to our room.
The stairs - up 50, along a passage and down 19. I know this is fairly typical and fortunately we didn't have to carry our cases up and down.
Fantastic location Helpful staff Lovely decor Fantastic restaurant Tourism office
Location is fabulous, in the center of everything, with shops and Piazza San Marco only meters away. We were warmly greeted by Sylvia at reception and our room was excellent, clean, and with a good double bed. There was no outside noise and we had a good night's sleep, even with the windows open.
I can't really say this is a negative problem, but the hotel is on a small street in the middle of the island, and thus difficult to find, unless you have previously marked it out well on your GPS, can really understand that those small walkways are called streets, and keep on going until you stumble upon it. Once you have found it, it is easy to find again, maybe. As others have noted, the breakfast room is small and there was a line waiting to get in.
Very good location, helpful staff, very clean, nice rooms, good breakfast
everything!5mins from thr Rialto stop, for airport transfers is fantastic(you will appreciated this as you watch people go over various bridges with their luggage)Perfect breakfast, attentive staff.I had 2 different rooms, due to travel to Florence Inbetween, very clean Rooms, with tea and coffee facilities.Clean towels everyday, even though,I'd followed policy of keeping mine to save on pollution, very good Sky Channels. One of the best hotels I've stayed in,and I'm a world traveller!I'd asked for a canal view,as well as a bathtub, and got both. They said no canal for return, but yes to bathtub!I was delighted with that,as I'd asked for this after my booking,so was able to see the gondolas, which was fantastic..Quiet at night, due to shutters, also 10% off in restaurant downstairs
nothing much,as stated in other peoples notes, there is no lift, but hotel happy to help with luggage. The 2nd room, the bathroom, although excellent, was a bit Teensy Weensy, and I knocked my knee more than a few times getting out of the shower, also I had to boil the kettle next to bathroom,as the flex wasn't long enough..But,minor inconveniences on the whole!
Location, beautifull room, good breakfast
There has no elevator
Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice little rooms with Gondolas going by.
No elevators! Bit pricey (probably holiday season)
Great location, great staff and excellent rooms.
The room we had was stunning. Great bed/shower/everything - can't fault it one bit. Location is perfect. In the middle of everything. Sights, bars, restaurants, and easy to find! Would definitely stay again.
Close to Rialto bridge and St Marks Square, just off main shopping street and on a canal. Lovely and helpful staff, great breakfast and restaurant. Clean room with window above canal.
Lots of stairs - fine for daily use but painful when bringing bags; early morning canal noise but it was central Venice
The location was great. The staff were wonderful
location is nice.
