Located a 5-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station, in Florence's historic center, Alloro B&B offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and tea and coffee-making...

The staff is very nice and the apartment is clean.
A little bit far away from the city centre.
Perfect location, 10-15 min nice walk to the center. Staff was really helpful and flexible. Imho, the best price / value hotel around.
Would recommend to throw away the satellite for the TV, and provide wider internet access instead with internet tv and more bandwith for the wifi. Wouldn't cost too much more, and the guests could choose their own content instead of looking for at least some background noise for that 1-2 hours spent awake in the hotel room. ;) Also, business travelers would appreciate a more stable / fast internet connection.
The host is friendly. Feel so like home. Wifi is good connection. Clean and comfort.
Location a bit far from place of interested. Bed too soft.
The staff was very helpful and firendly, giving us tips and, 20 min walk to city center.
The bed was not very comfty, and the smell in the room can be improved, but for the money spent, after all its a good deal.
Excellent location. Warm welcome by friendly staff. Very quiet.
Everything is perfect. Neat and comfortable accommodation.
Very near to main Central Station. Cleanliness and staff was quite helpful.
They had breakfast included but it was not worth the money. Only had croissant and coffee, we had to eat outside. Breakfast given was just a formality.
I liked the room and the owners were really nice.
I didn't like the position. It is close to the city center, but up north form the train station; the neighborhood wasn't too good, so when we were going back at night to the B&B I was not feeling safe on the street (we were girls only though).
On arrival, we received a warm welcome and helpful tips about the city. The room was very comfortable and although it was looking over a busy street, windows had excellent noise insulation.
Location is quite handy since it is only 10 min walk from the central train station. Old town and Duomo are 15 minutes away tops, getting to Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti takes a bit longer, but still reasonable. Host was really helpful on explaining what sights we must see and where we can have a nice lunch. Room not very spacious but clean and comfy, also with a small balcony.
Breakfast is limited to jam, croissants and coffee, but it's ok.
Where to start ? We were on a road trip and stopped in this b&b. It was the worst of all. The breakfast is not what I call a breakfast : 2 tiny toasts, 1 packed and unfresh croissant (as a french, you just can't call this a croissant by the look of it), 1 tiny small packed fruit juice (the same kind you had as a kid) and 1 little coffee per person and per day ! You want more ? You pay. That's it. The place is in a big and gloomy 1960's building with no charm. The b&b is actually a big flat turned into rooms. And to finish, it is 20-30min from the center by walk. We don't recommand it.
We loved the kindess and helpfulness of the staff. The room was clean and looked just like the online picture. We loved it!
Nice location. Easy 12-minute walk from Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station. Various bus lines nearby to get into the heart of Florence city. Wifi worked well.
Building is a bit difficult to find. There is no signage outside the entrance and the B&B is located inside a larger building.
Nice. The staff was very friendly with many recommendations about city sightseeing.
Not far from train station Santa Maria Novella and a center of the city. Problems with a noise from the street and mosquitos are solved (good plastic windows, air conditioner etc), but you have no fresh air. Friendly staff. We asked Alessio about yogurt and he gave us milk (and yogurt at the next day:) Good place for short visit of Florence.
Forget about real continental breakfast (tipical for good hotels). No fresh croissant, no butter, no cheese, no yogurt, no cream for tea or coffee, no home made jam, no fruits etc:) This breakfast style is very convenient for innkeeper (breakfast served in the room during cleaning) but we know about another way of looking;)
Very nice room, beautifully decorated including, very clean and the owners very helpful and polite
Quite far from the center, with no good view and with enough street noise when you have open windows
Great staff, charming room
Forget about opening the window because of huge noise of cars and trains. Hair in the shower :-(
I like there, quiet, convenient. It is a good place to live when you are travelling in Florence.
Good location to visit all sites. Staff could not do enough for you. Excellent value for money ++++
The owner was very kind, and gave us very nice recommendations of the city, as where to eat, what to visit, along with a map.
The breakfast was simply not good enough. A croissant inside a package from the day before, no butter nor cheese to put on it, for the jam to mix with. Coffee was from an automatic machine outside the bedroom. Simply bad. Shower space narrow.
Breakfast; Many kinds of a tea; In walking distance from railway station; Intresting design of the room; Attentive and helpful Matteo! Thanks a lot!
