In central Pompeii, Hotel Iside is just 325 ft from the archaeological ruins and 650 ft from the main square. The hotel's surrounding garden with citrus trees guarantees peace and quiet.
Score from 260 reviews Very good
Featuring rooms with a sea-view balcony, Donna Giulia is a 10-minute walk from Amalfi centre. The sandy beach is reachable via 140 steps, and discounts are offered to rent parasols and sun loungers.

The staff and owner were helpful and courteous at all times even though we arrived late for check in.
There wasn't outside ventilation to the room and the air conditioning and hot water were controlled at the front desk. We endured cold showers early in the morning.
We booked a room for B&B and got what felt like our own property. Air-con, tv, wi-fi (great signal from our own router) Our own desktop pc in our room with broadband!. Good shower, if in a small enclosure. Staff are great. Security is brilliant, simple and very effective. By mistake once when returning to our room I failed to enter my pass into the slot. We were phoned and then, when I did not resolve the issue staff came to check it was us in the room. Breakfast buffet was well presented on a terrace with wonderful views. Th site is wonderful, althoguh not huge it offered great views and some exploration.
We didn't check the location well enough in advance. The street address is similar to the main road along the coast and it confused us. In fairness they map online does expand and the street is properly identified on their address. I never resolved how to get the bus to the location, resulting in a 250m uphill walk to the nearest stop.
Lovely room and facilities. Excellent links into Amalfi
I loved this pension for: the rooms, the location, the view, the garden, the hospitality, the services provided, the staff ( especially Mr. Mario), the car for the transportation (an old Fiat) and the recommendation that we've received for the restaurants and the transportation to each of them.
The breakfast is good with home made pastries, fresh juice and fruits. I recommend to include something salted, it is a bit to sweet for me and to eat every day. Maybe some traditional cheese, normal yogurt (not with fruits).
The view, very friendly staff and beautiful rooms.
Some distance to Amalfi.
Breakfast was fresh and filling. Sipping fresh espresso and enjoying the amazing view was a great start to every day. The room was very well kept and comfortable. A local market was only about 50 steps away. A bar/restaurant about a 5 min walk the other way. Mirella and Alessio were most gracious hosts and were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and local hangouts. Highly recommended!
Out of the busy center of Amalfi in a hillside the place is quiet and has a very relaxed atmosphere. A a local bus stops a few meters far from the house, which goes every hour to Amafli center. If you want to make excursions for instance the Sentiero deglli Dei it is the best place to stay The owners are very helpfull and nice. I liked very much my room which has a garden I used alone. There was a computer in the room as well, though I had my own computer with me I did not have to use it. There is also a free wifi all over the hotel. Next year I will stay here again and make some more excursions from there.
This was a lovely, quiet spot on the very busy Amalfi Coast. The B and B is in a village about 3km up the hill from Amalfi. Our room had a little "terrace" area with a terrific view of the coast. Although out of the main tourist areas it was on the bus route to Amalfi and a shuttle service was provided if needed.
Being out of the way was positive but meant there was no where close to eat or buy provisions.
Helpful staff, very quaint place, off the beaten path location, but transportation is provided. Beautiful views.
Great panoramic view from balcony, very beautiful. nice room, lemon garden, breakfast.
no information about shuttle bus from center, so difficult to get there from port. airconditioner couldn't switch on &couldn't contact anyone to help, bathroom was easily to slip<no curtain>, no nearby restaurant. but only small bar that helped us with super sanwich. It's great!!!
Beautiful views, great breakfast and friendly staff.
Slightly inconvenient location but the views make up for it.
Warm informal staff, beautiful view from the room, free shuttle to city centre driven by lovely Mario
No window in the room, airconditioner was difficult to operate
Beautifully furnished and setting. In the afternoon you could relax on a reclining chair watching the sun set over the Mediterranean while the smell of cakes baking and the sounds of the church bells rang. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Amalfi is a small town so transport can be a bit difficult at times if you do not speak Italian. L'Antico does offer a shuttle though to help with this. Travel light because like all places in Amalfi there will be hills and stairs to navigate.
The view. Workers really charm. Price. Unique.
Shower too small. Need more info about how to get there,
