Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi

The size of the room was great and the location was perfect, ten minute walk to the Metro and the tour buses stop right outside the Hotel. We had a awesome view of Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. Hotel was quiet despite the amount of traffic the road received.

Air Conditioner did not cool the room. Was very hot in the Hotel.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. I'd like to mention the excellent staff, always helpful. The hotel is located in walking distance of Termini and Colosseum. We enjoyed the special atmosphere of this luxury palace. The free and safe parking place (quite unusual in Rome) is a plus (actually the main reason for booking here). The consistent breakfast was very helpful; basically the only real meals during our stay (food in Rome is the worst value for money I've ever seen).

The hotel is well located within 5 - 10 minutes walk of both Termini rail station and the Rome subway. Rooms have air conditioning which is a big plus as it was quite warm during my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated but given the price and location one should not expect the latest in decor, more importantly everything worked and it was clean.

The hotel was in a convenient location and the room adequate.

The courtyard bar was not open for drinks and rather forlorn. The room was small and looked onto a narrow street under construction. The breakfast rooms were dark and the breakfast lacked fruit. The hotel was expensive for the amenities provided.

very nice, it had the feel of old world. We had two rooms and each room had an excellent view.

The place, where hotel is situated is not far from the Colosseum. However the hotel is definetely not 4 stars. The breakfast is really poor, and the bathroom doesn't have the heating, so during the winter it is really very uncomfortable to take a shower.

Auch für italienische Verhältnisse ein ausgesprochen schlechtes Frühstück.Für ein 4 Sternehotel blamabel. Völlig unprofessionell und lieblos der Aufbau des Buffetts, kaum Auswahl, kein frisches Obst, Gebäck nicht frisch, Rührei aus Fertigmischung, Billigstkäsescheiben in Folie, nur eine Brötchensorte, unfreundliches Servicepersonal, kurz: das frühstück kann man vergessen!!!!!!!!!!!

De locatie van het hotel is perfect: vlakbij trein- en metrostation, met internetcafé, scooterverhuur, en een mooi plein (Maggiore) en eet- en winkelfaciliteiten (Via Cavour, Panisperna) om de hoek. Het hotel was schoon, rustig en met werkende airco: erg belangrijk! Opvallend was dat het ontbijt erg uitgebreid was: uitzonderlijk voor Romeinse begrippen. De service was prima: men spreekt Engels en is uiterst behulpzaam. Een voorbeeld: de kluis werkte niet, en dat werd à la minute geregeld. Ook de bedden waren (althans in onze kamer: 206) kwalitatief in orde: geen keiharde of juist slapzachte matrassen en geen rare kuilen of veren in je rug :-)

Onze kamer was aan de krappe kant. Gezien de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding echter, hebben wij geen reden tot klagen.
