No serious problems at all, but it would be nice to have a genuinely secure area to store luggage after checking out of the room.
Also, be aware that, as with any hotel in central San Gimignano, rooms facing onto the street can be noisy if you have the windows open.
The building is both comfortable and full of character. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds, and, like all areas of the hotel, were kept very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a huge spread of bread and pastries, cold meats & cheese, cereals, fresh and dried fruit, etc., and the staff were friendly and very helpful, making sure that we found our way to the correct bus onwards to Florence.
