Localisation / Emplacement The old tobacco smell in a non smoker room. The rotten carpet smell that appears after 2 days even with the open window. The fact that we had water drop from the ceiling when it was raining outside. / L'odeur de vieux tabac froid de la chambre non fumeur. L'odeur de pourriture qui a suivie l'aération de la chambre. Le fait que des coulisses d'eau tombait du plafond les soirs de pluies. |

Excellent position for exploring Venice, attractive entrance, comfortable room for one person, excellent service at breakfast The bathroom needs to be refurbished, the room would have been rather cramped for two people. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly when talking to clients, but tended to ignore clients going in or out when a friendly 'ciao' or 'buon giorno/buona sera' would have been pleasant |

Clean, well-kept rooms. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Great moderately priced hotel. Charged me 1st night, even though my flight was cancelled and I was put on another flight the next day. Hotel policy wasn't exactly the most clear on that situation, but understand it's not the hotel's fault. At the same time, could have been handled a little better - hotel staff got defensive when I merely asked whether it was possible to forgive the 1st night give my bad situation. After all, I lost a day in Venice!! |

It is well located, close to the main touristic areas. Through a labrinth of corridors the hotel is connected to an adjacent building (part of the hotel). There is no indoors camera and no indication how to find one's way out to the main lobby. I was lost in the first day ending in a backyard. The door got shut and the bell did not work. It was after 30 minutes that a staff noticed my knocking at the door. |

It was very convenient. Very near St. Mark 's Square and easy to walk to from the water taxis. They gave great help about where to eat, shop, etc.. They let us store our bags there after checkout while we ate and shopped. |

It was very close from San Marcos Square, just two minutes by feet, The croissants were Fabulous!!!!!! There is no Wi-Fi, the people on the front desk just do their work, they are “friendly enough”. Besides breakfast, they don't have any other restaurant sevice. |

Central location yet quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Well appointed room, recently refurbished. Adequate but nice breakfast served in pleasant surroundings by helpful, mature and smiling ladies. 500ml bottles of chilled water available from hotel receptionist from fridge but at the exorbitant price of E3.50 per bottle. This should be made clear at the time of purchase. Street price is E1.50, still too much. |

Great value for the money. For European room decent size, very clean, quiet, good breakfast. It's right in San Marco, which is swarming with people but if that's where you want to be it's right there and rooms are quiet. |

Being located close to San Marco was nice, and the price was as good as I could find. The room wasn't luxurious, but was certainly adequate. WiFi worked in the room, and was market priced at about 3 euro per half hour (ouch!). Clerk during checkin was very friendly, helpful and courteous. All in all, a good value. It wasn't an issue for me, but it is a fair walk (several hundred yards) from the vaporetto, so don't carry heavy bags if you can't carry heavy bags. |

The staff was fantastic, always a smile and helpful. Breakfast was good. My room was absolutely gorgeous, I had the top floor, with small windows facing St Mark's Cathedral and the bell tower. AC and very quiet. I loved it. |
