Bed was small and not very comfy but I slept well every night!
Location, just off st Mark square Service, booked the wrong room by accident (double beds) but went online and changed to Twin with no problem. Room had a Jacuzzi, as extra
Breakfast had no eggs, but quality was satisfactory
We got a room outside the hotel around the corner, our own little apartment.
We ony got 1 key...
Easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, antiquities, and scenic locations.
Too "industrial". Failed to make a dinner reservation that they promised to make - when I arrived for a much anticipated dinner, I was turned away. Desk staff just don't care.
If I must put something here maybe I'll say the location is fine and the room is clean as it's supposed to be.
The overall experience is not that attractive. Don't know what happened but the staff at the reception is kinda rude and arrogant who don't respond well to our questions. I'm not really sure maybe he never learned how to smile to a guest in his entire career path. The room is incredibly small and I can't even fully open my luggage so every time that i want to get something i have to put it on my bed which is a super disgusting thing to do. After checking in I decide to purchase a ticket to my next destination, getting away from Venice asap. Also, even the hotel is close to Saint Marco but it's really far from the railway station, which is horrible cause Venice is full of cross-river stairs and I have to carry my luggage for a very long time.
Good location, breakfast and staff. Ancient style room decoration.
A bit noisy in the morning outside when smb talks at 5-6 a.m.May be the staff of the nearest bar.
Beautiful room like living in old Venice. 30 second walk to San Marcos Square. Staff speaks very good English. Internet works well for emails.
Very small restaurant so if you go when the season is high, it will be packed tight. Selection of breakfast food OK. Great coffee.
Hotel aspect and proximity to St Mark's Square and other attractions. Bar staff helpful in providing ice.
Lack of fridge in room. Breakfast choice was poor.
24h loud background music in whole hotel. They gave me a small, smelling, sticky room. I had to complain and get a better one. Lousy coffee for breakfast
No electric outlet to charge phone!
Close to St Mark's square
to hot and no way to control the temperature. With the window open noisy - all night We were put in a remote location, in a separate building so had to walk through the Street in the morning to find breakfast
The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Location of the Quad room, one of their largest rooms was overlooking San Marco Piazza. Fantastic Location. Beautiful room. All in all we had a great stay with Antico Panada.
The bath tub was leaking heavily and they were unable to fix it during our stay there. The breakfast was just ok.
Just a few minutes from San Marco. Friendly check-in. Beautifully decorated room. Simple breakfast included in price.
VERY slow check-out. On a Saturday mid-morning there was just 1 person on the desk, dealing with all the check-outs, queries and phone calls. I was 4th in the queue, and it took nearly half an hour! No information book in room for hotel facilities, or even emergencies.
Wifi only in lobby but with good quality.
QUIET room- wow! Shutters, and double or triple paned balcony doors. Stayed right behind the Clock on St Marks square. Door opned ONTO st marks. Wonderful place. Kind staff. CLEAN
Some of the staff are really agressive the hotel porter is beyond impolite and rude and I had the worst experience ever, the staff is horrible and only one of the receptionists was helpful he spoke english and spanish and was really nice the rest are horrible rude people even the breakfast was poor of poor quality compared to the money the charged me , the heater in the room was broke , the rooms are really tiny and part of the hotel isnt connected to an elevator so I had to carry my bags two floors , I arribed at night in the aqua alta days and none of them was helpful enough to help get my bags they were sarcastic and told me that the rooms are perfect unless im expecting to visit Dubai ! Are you kidding me ? I havent seen worse all around europe !
Good Breakfast Center of Venice Commerces Spotless
The room was a little bit small
Very close to San Marco. Central and good value for money. The room was spacious and the heated towel rack, clean bathroom and central heating was a bonus.
Location is great, hotel is clean and the breakfast is very nice. Alex at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby, bar and lounge area.
We were put in a nice room but had to go outside, down a little alley and through 3 locked doors to get to our room. Very inconvenient.
Couldn't be better located...steps from Piazza San Marco and both vaparetto lines for easy travel. Staff helpful. Internet free! Great room decor and amenities.
No elevator or Internet in 'separate' part of hotel - around the corner from main hotel.
central location, close to attractions and public transport, plentiful breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
No hostess tray in room, and the breakfast coffee wasn't brilliant by Italian standards
We were in an annex just next door but it turned out to be just fine. In fact, the room was in perfect condition and the access easier than the hotel itself. There was no elevator but a staff member showed us to our room and carried our bags up the stairs.
We had some difficulty finding the hotel due to the street name changing in the block between San Marco square and the hotel. There is some street noise, but the windows do a good job and we rather enjoyed looking down on the throngs below the window as it opened on to one of the main walking routes in and out of the square. It can be a bit of a problem to get from the hotel and through San Marco square when the piazza floods, but you can actually go around on the covered area to get to a vaparetto stop while the throngs wait to get on a platform to walk across it.
convenience to sites very clean room nice size
our room was above a restaurant, very noisy in the early am. sketchy internet
