The staff were rude. They make you feel that they are giving you a favor by letting you sleep in their hotel. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. Same with my colleague who also checked in the hotel. Mosquitoes in winter?
Location, location, location :-)
Great Hotel near St Marks Square we enjoyed our time in Venice |All Hotel Staff where just Great and lots of Great Advice and Help from Staff
Anywhere you stay in Venice will be close to Something. Panada seemed a bit dated but it suited the city and I'm sure everywhere else would be similar in style. Yet Panada was a fraction of the price and included a reasonable breaky.
Not that we wanted to watch tv but for us possibly 1 maybe two English channels our wifi was fine but apparently it only usually works in the lobby we were on the 2nd level and it was fine
Very friendly staff - stayed on the phone with us until we could find it. Room was very comfortable and definitely worth the price.
The location is good, easy to get.
The wifi sucks, I can not use it at my room. And the shower was soooooo bad, it always seems like going to be stop soon.
Great location, nice room and nice english-speaking staff.
The temperature control was broken, so the temperature was permantly set at about 28 degrees Celsius, which is pretty warm. Had to open the window to get some fresh air (and some mosquitos in the process).
We are young couple with kid and we travel a lot, we have never felt so bad like in this hotel! Superior room was so little and so dirty! The breakfast was very very poor and There were mosquito everywhere in the room! The position was excellent but this is not a justify to have so poor service
Amazing location, just around the corner from San Marco. Comfortable and decent breakfast offering.
Shower was a little small
Located very close to San Marco
Stupid wifi connection Failed every few minutes Very weak and slow
Location was great - just a minute from Piazza San Marco. The room was quiet and the staff were great. Free breakfast also a bonus. A great place for the price
Nice room but small.
On arrival we were taken to another hotel about 5 mins away because of a 'problem' which was never explained.Hotel facilities quite different and disappointing. Noisy room on 2nd floor right below breakfast room.Hotel was closing next day and we were phoned at check- out time to remind us of this. We would never go back.
Room size, unstable WiFi. Mosquitoes and hot room make you keep windows close to avoid mosquitoes, but can't stay in the room because it's so hot. So we stayed in the hall at night until we need to go to sleep.
everything is fanrasitic！ except Wi-Fi！
Good location near St.Marco square
Room dirty, no wifi in room, room was out of the hotel facilities in another building, no smoke detector in room (only the wires), no evacuation plan in the room. Street very noisy, Venetians seem to like to be up till 5:30 in the morning in bars. Poor breakfast. Mosquitos in January, can't imagine in summer... Expensive for what they offer.
The location was really awesome, just a minute from San Marco square and the hotel's atmosphere was warm and nice.
The staff at the reception is really helpful (Max and Andrea). they solve your problems on the hour, on the spot. Breakfast top top for 3*.
So I got there at 8pm with my girlfriend after Milan. After checking in, we followed the concierge, to my surprise he headed out the door ... left, left and into a dark little way, left again. And there we were, staring at this old (real old) two floor ruin. For some reason our room (room 612) was outside of the hotel. The key was a mess, it would open the door 1 time out of 10. Phone didnt work, no internet.... we asked to change the next morning.
Location, the staff were friendly the breakfast was hectic but well stocked and staffed. location , location
Hotel was noisy and needed a refurb and the star rating was too high. This starts a break with a small disappointment but Venice never disappoints
Excellent location, friendly staff, extravagantly decorated rooms, clean
Wifi didn't work in the room
Breakfast was average
Location, great staff, cleanliness
- room was not in main building, elevator extremly slow thus those talking the narrow stairway outperformed ;-). Bed tubelike. - breakfast room cosy, with very limited choice foodwise
The location was awesome, we were in the clock tower just ON the Piazza San Marco. It was very centrally located, convenient to explore Venice. Also, it was clean and the bathroom was quite modern. The front desk was also very helpful...
The breakfast was very average, and the room was a bit too 'golden' for our taste. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable, but the bed was fine. We were in room 710 on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which we didn't mind... We only stayed one night, so it was fine.
Excellent location Friendly staff
Noisy at night. Average breakfast choices
