Score from 1201 reviews Very good
Location is excellent. Breakfast is good.
Maybe reception staff has too much work for many passengers, which makes the service a little bit slow. Wi Fi quality is not good in the room.
We liked the location and georgious room decorations.
Staff can be more friendly, but we didn't have any problems during our stay.
Close proximity to st marks square
Rude staff annex room smelly, cramped breakfast room Empty mini bar one night 110 euros
30meters from st Marks square!!
Comfortable and good facilities.
The hotel did not mention that they have another building. They sent us to the different building. Not in the same hotel. No wifi in the room. Everytime we want to use the wifi we have to go to the hotel. The breakfast also we have to go to the hotel. We have to use the high stairs.. Not suitable for old folk. There's one customer also complaint about the wifi. The staff not friendly..
nice rooms, big bathroom, the staff is so nice and friendly:) perfect location! I'll be back here!
location and cleanliness
the beds were very bad quality
Location is great.
Electricity went out, rooms very hot and no way to lower the heat.
The view of our room looking out over Piazza San Marco
In the middle of the night my wife woke up to the sound of running water. She got up and went into the bathroom and turned on the light; water was running down through the ceiling from the electric light fixture and onto the floor. We immediately called the night manager who came to the room armed with towels. When he saw the water running down through the electrical fixture his comment was "this is nothing! I have seen much more water come down." It took us about a half an hour to explain to him that we were not about to stay in a room that indiscriminately mixed electricity and water. After an hour he relented and agreed to put us in another room. It turned out that the other room was outside, behind a metal door, up three flights of cramped stairs in an attic. If this had not happened to me I would not have believed that it could happen. It did. Stay away from this so called hotel, you could die.
Good Breakfast, pretty rooms, good bathroom - like visiting the legend.
A little difficult to get to/out of Venice. May be other hotel that is closer to WaterBus station might be better - cause it is not easy to get arround in venice with all bridges and stairs and big bags...
The location is second to none
The room was so small that there wasn't even enough space to open my suitcase and I had to put it on the bed to do so.
Location was perfect
our room. It just finished renovation. Room glistened with novelty and cleanliness!
terrible breakfast, bad wifi
The location on the tiniest street ever and the lovely little lobby with classical artwork and elegant light fixtures was very welcoming. As an American traveler I was surprised that my room was down another street in an apartment shared by another hotel, but how charming!
My only complaint was that there was really only wifi in the lobby.
Easily accessible from San Marco Good breakfast menu
No charging sockets for people with 3-pin chargers The room was cold, not properly heat
Only the Short Way to Piazza San Marco. Service Poor . Hotel Condition Very Poor.
Yes Bad Experience, my Card is broken, when i try to open this stupid Door. Not in the Room i have to pay 3Euro for New Card and more. Need Long Time to open my Door,Late in the Night.Stupid Door and Stupid Hotel. Go to the Next Hotel the Neighboor (Best Western) and you stay 5Euros Cheaper and friendly Service and better Bed. Forget this Hotel.Forever.
Location is great, staff was ok.
Hotel is closed till 6am and it can be a problem if you arrive in Venice earlier. Slow and unrelaible wifi in the room.
The location of the hotel is its best feature. Beyond that nothing good to say.
Our first room was infested with Mosquitos and we both woke up with bites all over us. Was able to change rooms and that room still had them but not as bad. The rooms looked like renovations were started but never finished. Breakfast looked weary and didn't attempt it. Wifi was almost non-existent. Over all not worth the value, there are better hotels within the same location.
Pefect location, good area, spicy room, good bathroom
Rude staff, they can take your passport for whole day without any reasons! Very cold in the room
This hotel has fantastic location and definitely very good value for money. If I will have a chance to come back to Venice, I try to get again the room there. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
I had a singe room, which was quite small, however it was for me only place to sleep, so was ok. The TV had only few programs and the picture was not always clear - but who goes to Venice to watch TV??? Unfortunately WiFi did not work at all...
No wifi Staff is rude and doesn't care
ottima zona e locazione, dietro san marco e quindi punto strategico. good location, very close to S.Marco square perfect for see the best monument of Venice. I recommend you this hotel
