Location was fantastic. The cleaning staff and the breakfast room staff were gorgeous.
People say Venice smells, but I didn't notice this much, except for the hotel Panada. Breakfast included was very painful to sit through. Combine the smell of the room and the quality of the food and beverages, and you have a situation where the two of us wanted to almost gag some of the time. Our door card didn't work in the lock or in the powering up of our room #334. The toilet leaked, and the shower was so small it was difficult to wash yourself. Maximus, was the person who greeted us, but greeting is an oxymoron in this case. He was so rude we had to laugh at the situation when we were alone in our room.
When I made a mistake in my booking (wrong date) the desk man graciously allowed me to correct it without penalty.
The breakfast ran out of prosciutto crudo before we arrived. Otherwise, it was excellent.
Awesome stay, the staff was great, wonderful location
Great location. It's hard to give a good price performance in Venice because everything is overpriced, but among comparables was ok.
Breakfast is a little poor, and the room is small and collapse in peak hours.
The location was perfect to get around the key places in Venice. St Marks Square is a two minute walk, Rialto is about 10 minutes walk. The bars and restaurants in between are very good and far cheaper than the prices in the Square! The staff tried to be helpful, they did move us to another room but this was better but still not good. To not spoil our trip, we decided to stay in this room and persevere. If you don't mind a really hard bed and either a hot or cold room, then stay here.
The bed was extremely hard (some people like this), it was two single mattress' pushed together which was also a problem. The rooms aren't quite as shown on the website. Our first room was extremely cold and noisy, the second was quieter but roasting. Breakfast was adequate, but again didn't, in reality look or feel as good as sold on the website. I don't really like to make a nuisance, but I was very upset by this hotel.
Great location, dry out side Hotel even after rain and high tide combined.firm beds, clean and staff very good, very clean and feels ggod, has a great ambience and staff are friendly.short walk to gumboot retailer, something that is essential in Venezia.Very close to St Marks Square.Felt very classy would stay again without a doubt. My personal rating I would give it a 9/10
had problem with central heating way too hot, decided the first night to open the widow to let cool breeze in and got smashed by the local mosquitoes.Central heating is controlled from the main receptionist at the front desk which we didnt know about before going to bed. Should have been asked what temp we would like in our room when booking in.
Fabulous atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, disabled facilities readily available, beautiful room in an annex, generous breakfasts, bang on San Mark's Square - what more can you possibly ask for??
Medieval city not exactly soundproofed, so there is some noise from the street early in the morning/late at night. But that is not the hotel's fault, and all part of visiting Venice - it is clearly not going to change anytime soon!
Corridor, very small Carpets stink
The location next to Piazza San Marco is excellent. Staff are friendly.
Breakfast time is very busy. Room was away from main hotel and accessed via a side door.
The location was very good. We had a triple room which was quite comfortable and a reasonable size. The bathroom too was a good size and kept clean. There was a safe in the room.
Too few staff, never anyone manning the bar. Poor quality breakfast. No information about hotel services or Venice. Key card always needing reprogramming. One bed collapsed with a broken leg.
The location was great, decor pleasant and staff friendly.
Location Excellent. Right beside San Marco in the middle of restaurants and shops
Building work being carried out starting quite early. St Marks bell ring all night bring ear plugs.
Maybe the sheets need to change to brighter colour because the carpet and in dark colour and room looks darks.
Room are too dark
Comfort of beds and clean rooms
Wifi connection was poor
We ordered room in Hotel Antico Panada, but when we arrived in the reception they offered the room in other building - it was Best windows apartment. These apartments are situated at the heart of St.Marco square just near the clock - view is amazing and apartment was just great. Personal in Antico Panda was very polite and friendly. Manager gave us map of Venice, explained main directions and places to visit. His english was very fluent. Breakfast simple and standart.
The location is fantastic, 2 mins walk from st marks square
Internet up and down. Kept throwing me off.
For our honeymoon, my husband and I have been on a small tour of Europe. We have been gone 3 weeks, and this was hands down the best room that we have had. There was construction going on near the first room we were given, and the concierge immediately moved us to a larger, quiter room. All the amenities were great, perfect location, and nice breakfast in the morning. Thank you Antico Panada!
The only downside was that the wifi didn't work unless we were in the lobby.
Bed was small and not very comfy but I slept well every night!
Location, just off st Mark square Service, booked the wrong room by accident (double beds) but went online and changed to Twin with no problem. Room had a Jacuzzi, as extra
Breakfast had no eggs, but quality was satisfactory
We got a room outside the hotel around the corner, our own little apartment.
We ony got 1 key...
Easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, antiquities, and scenic locations.
Too "industrial". Failed to make a dinner reservation that they promised to make - when I arrived for a much anticipated dinner, I was turned away. Desk staff just don't care.
If I must put something here maybe I'll say the location is fine and the room is clean as it's supposed to be.
The overall experience is not that attractive. Don't know what happened but the staff at the reception is kinda rude and arrogant who don't respond well to our questions. I'm not really sure maybe he never learned how to smile to a guest in his entire career path. The room is incredibly small and I can't even fully open my luggage so every time that i want to get something i have to put it on my bed which is a super disgusting thing to do. After checking in I decide to purchase a ticket to my next destination, getting away from Venice asap. Also, even the hotel is close to Saint Marco but it's really far from the railway station, which is horrible cause Venice is full of cross-river stairs and I have to carry my luggage for a very long time.
