Just 215 yards from Saint Mark's Square in Venice, Savoia & Jolanda is on the waterfront of Riva degli Schiavoni. It offers elegant Venetian-style rooms, a restaurant, and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Opened in 1308, the Albergo Cavalletto & Doge Orseolo is one of the oldest hotels in Venice. It is set right behind St. Mark's Square, and features elegant rooms and a private pier.

Double Bed, Cleanliness, Clean towels every day, Good Shower, Quality of food at breakfast.
The 2 single beds were sofa beds - only fit for children. Staff were not happy to help. Breakfast room was too small for its purpose. The foyer smelt strongly of sewage.
The location - at stone-throw distance from the San Marco square price-quality was good!
Breakfast was kind of minimalistic but probably what you get for this price wake up service and check out failed in early morning - person responsible was sleeping...
Great location, very convenient. Hotel room is very well decorated and set. Love this place.
The front desk staff is not very friendly.
They were drilling a hole in the neighboring room early in the morning - woke me up and continued for a while.
- Location is good , close to main points - Good value for Money
Ottimo per levillo 3star hotel Good service for Every tings
An excellent location. Do yourself a favor, book another hotel.
When we Checking-In we were not informed of breakfast times or about wifi and there is only one key per room. This becomes a problem when people knock on doors all night long trying to access rooms. The room is advertised with refined furniture which is a big stretch of the imagination, the doors are falling off at the hinges and is dirty and grungy. The beds and pillows are hard and we all ended up with sore necks an backs after sleeping there. I have stayed in worse when I was young but then I didn't pay these prices. Most certainly not worth a three star rating. Overall staff are rude and lazy particularly the chambermaid.
Staff were excellent
Needs completely refurbishing, everything was old and in need of repair. The bathroom was horrible. Also don't eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel, it was awful and extremely overpriced......
It's very easy to get lost in Venice, after an hour of walking from St. Marc's square to the hotel for the first time we finally arrived and realised it is in fact about ten or fifteen metres form St. Marc's square...The breakfast was just as expected and the rooms very kitsch looking but very comfy. I'd recommend it.
I find Venice lacks imagination in what live entertainment it offers to it's hordes of visitors, after all there's only so much Vivaldi a man can take...Important to say my girlfriend and I had great time in Venice and at the hotel Antico Panada.
There is no elevator on the 3rd floor .
Location was fantastic. The cleaning staff and the breakfast room staff were gorgeous.
People say Venice smells, but I didn't notice this much, except for the hotel Panada. Breakfast included was very painful to sit through. Combine the smell of the room and the quality of the food and beverages, and you have a situation where the two of us wanted to almost gag some of the time. Our door card didn't work in the lock or in the powering up of our room #334. The toilet leaked, and the shower was so small it was difficult to wash yourself. Maximus, was the person who greeted us, but greeting is an oxymoron in this case. He was so rude we had to laugh at the situation when we were alone in our room.
When I made a mistake in my booking (wrong date) the desk man graciously allowed me to correct it without penalty.
The breakfast ran out of prosciutto crudo before we arrived. Otherwise, it was excellent.
Awesome stay, the staff was great, wonderful location
Great location. It's hard to give a good price performance in Venice because everything is overpriced, but among comparables was ok.
Breakfast is a little poor, and the room is small and collapse in peak hours.
The location was perfect to get around the key places in Venice. St Marks Square is a two minute walk, Rialto is about 10 minutes walk. The bars and restaurants in between are very good and far cheaper than the prices in the Square! The staff tried to be helpful, they did move us to another room but this was better but still not good. To not spoil our trip, we decided to stay in this room and persevere. If you don't mind a really hard bed and either a hot or cold room, then stay here.
The bed was extremely hard (some people like this), it was two single mattress' pushed together which was also a problem. The rooms aren't quite as shown on the website. Our first room was extremely cold and noisy, the second was quieter but roasting. Breakfast was adequate, but again didn't, in reality look or feel as good as sold on the website. I don't really like to make a nuisance, but I was very upset by this hotel.
Great location, dry out side Hotel even after rain and high tide combined.firm beds, clean and staff very good, very clean and feels ggod, has a great ambience and staff are friendly.short walk to gumboot retailer, something that is essential in Venezia.Very close to St Marks Square.Felt very classy would stay again without a doubt. My personal rating I would give it a 9/10
had problem with central heating way too hot, decided the first night to open the widow to let cool breeze in and got smashed by the local mosquitoes.Central heating is controlled from the main receptionist at the front desk which we didnt know about before going to bed. Should have been asked what temp we would like in our room when booking in.
Fabulous atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, disabled facilities readily available, beautiful room in an annex, generous breakfasts, bang on San Mark's Square - what more can you possibly ask for??
Medieval city not exactly soundproofed, so there is some noise from the street early in the morning/late at night. But that is not the hotel's fault, and all part of visiting Venice - it is clearly not going to change anytime soon!
Corridor, very small Carpets stink
The location next to Piazza San Marco is excellent. Staff are friendly.
Breakfast time is very busy. Room was away from main hotel and accessed via a side door.
The location was very good. We had a triple room which was quite comfortable and a reasonable size. The bathroom too was a good size and kept clean. There was a safe in the room.
Too few staff, never anyone manning the bar. Poor quality breakfast. No information about hotel services or Venice. Key card always needing reprogramming. One bed collapsed with a broken leg.
The location was great, decor pleasant and staff friendly.
Location Excellent. Right beside San Marco in the middle of restaurants and shops
Building work being carried out starting quite early. St Marks bell ring all night bring ear plugs.
Maybe the sheets need to change to brighter colour because the carpet and in dark colour and room looks darks.
Room are too dark
Comfort of beds and clean rooms
Wifi connection was poor
We ordered room in Hotel Antico Panada, but when we arrived in the reception they offered the room in other building - it was Best windows apartment. These apartments are situated at the heart of St.Marco square just near the clock - view is amazing and apartment was just great. Personal in Antico Panda was very polite and friendly. Manager gave us map of Venice, explained main directions and places to visit. His english was very fluent. Breakfast simple and standart.
