Antico Panada

The location is good & easy to find. First,walk under the clock tower in S. Marco Square, turn right on the first street, then after you pass McDonald, turn left into a very very narrow alley. The benefit of close to San Marco Square is that 1) you can hear the music in San Marco Square at night right before you go back to your hotel 2) seeing venice at night is a must and it's great that you can just take the boat and see venice on the way back to hotel(then you won't get too tired). 3) you can never get too lost, just follow the sign S. Marco or ask people. The breakfast was good. There were bread, cheese, jam and butter, yogurt, apples, cornflakes, milk and juice. i think good value for money we paid.

feel that the hotel is a little bit not clean(i feel itchy) when I first arrived, but i don't feel that afterwards, so i guess it is ok. The internet connection is not that great, the wireless connnection is not working for my friend. also, when we used the computer that hotel provided, the connection was slow and it charged us by minutes, also no chinese character showing. the bathtub was designed badly, when we shower, the water just spill all over the floor. The disadvantage of staying around San Marco: definitely not eat around San Marco Square, the price seems to be the most expensive.

Panada was in a good location however the rooms were very small and the cost quite high, but remember you are in Venice!

It's close to S.Marco Plazza. And the furnitures are really "Antico style". Bath tub and hot water.

If it's rainy, it will be hard to get to the hotel even thoug it's close from the Vapoletto stop.

The room was gorgeous and the location was wonderfully convenient - very close to San Marcos Square.

The hotel is in a perfect location for a stay in Venice. It is a short walk from getting off the boat from the airport and also to the Rialto Bridge.

Location Location Location...Location was great, few steps from San Marc Square and in the middle of a shopping area, very simple, yet comfortable except for the shower, reception staff were ok but the restaurant staff were more than excellent with a nice smill at the breakfast (especially Margerit)

Shower was bad, either Hot or Cold and there was a lot of mosquitos !!!

The concierge, Alexander was charming and helpful. The only staff member who was.

My room was in another building separate from the lobby, but it was very clean and spacious with a large bathroom. Typical breakfast with great coffee.

daystaff concierge was not as helpful as perhaps he could have been. on more than one occasion he supplied information that made us miss a visit to Murano Glassworks

The hotel was centrally located so we could walk everywhere and it was surprisingly quiet.

Super location, just off St. Marks. We stayed in a very nice room 50 meters from the hotel itself; the concierge told me later that some people balk at getting an off-site room, but to my mind this was no inconvenience whatsover - on the contrary, it merely accentuated the feeling of having a room of one's own in Venice! And a very grand room it was, I had to double check my booking to make sure everything was in order! And no nonsense about surcharges, I paid exactly what booking.com quoted as total cost. Highly recommended.
