Antony Palace Hotel  

This hotel was great, the first night we stayed after a cruise before we headed to Paris, and choose it because it was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight, when we returned to Venice we were supposed to stay on the Grand Canal but after exploring 1 day on the island,we saw how difficult it would be to get to our hotel with all our luggage and changed our reservation to stay back at the Antony Palace because of the hotel and the ease of the shuttles back and forth to Venice, would definately stay there again, there is a wonderful Pizza place across the street that serves great wine, pizza and American beer! And its open late. Right next door was a great little shop for very inexpensive souvenir gifts, dont waste your money in Venice for the same items they sell next door

The only complaint we had about this hotel was that there is no outside patio to sit outside and enjoy the night with a glass of wine

Antony Palace hotel is one of the most nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at. It was amazing! The staff were very kind and helpful and the hotel itself was absolutely gorgeous. The interior was very modern, the rooms were very pretty, clean and comfortable. The shuttle bus made our stay in Venice very convenient. They were exactly on time and dropped us from the hotel to Piazzale Roma. It was always there to pick us up on time and drop us of. There are some reviews saying that the shuttle service was bad but I can tell you that all you need is a little common sense. The shuttle bus left exactly on time and did leave late comers behind so if you do use the service be at least 10 minutes early prior to the pick up time. The buffet breakfast was also very hood. There was a large variety of hot and cold breakfast and also a variety of sweet deserts to. I can honestly say that this hotel is amazing for the price and you can get to the city of Venice very easily. There is bus stops literally in front of the hotel if you do not want to take the shuttle but I do recommend the shuttle. We used it everyday without any problems.

The breakfast! The hotel was clean and modern in decor. The staff was very professional. We would stay here again.

I had a great experience of staying at Hotel Antony Palace. I was also lucky to have hit the promotion special! I'm so glad I'd made the choice of choosing this hotel over all the others. I wanted to have a room that is close to the airport for me to crash for the first night arriving in Venice. The hotel staff from the front desk to the restaurant and shuttle bus driver, they're so very helpful, warm and professional. The room was very clean, love the design throughout the hotel, the breakfast buffet is healthy with a rich variety to choose from. The hotel is also close enough to the airport, there's also a huge shopping mall within about 5 minutes of walking distance from the hotel, from post office to tooth paste and winter coats, you name it. Venice happens to be colder than I thought, so I was able to get some warm clothes there. It is a great location for what I needed, the bed was super comfy, it feels like I had the best night of sleep for the year, just what I need when I just got of the long 9 hours of flight with jet lag! Great value for the services and facilities offered, even if it's without the discount. I'll recommend this hotel to anyone.

The reception staff were switched on, professional, and had a great command of English. We specifically chose the hotel because it offers an excellent shuttle service to and from Venice. Extremely convenient. Train also closeby. We did not want the hassle of parking station option in Venice proper. Free wifi and free parking - easy. Breakfast choices were adequate. Coffee was diy from a machine. Is this four star?

There are no restaurants of quality nearby, and the in-house restaurant is quite expensive and poor quality in choice and food purchased. We gave them two chances, one meal I wanted to return but the waiter insisted it was ok. This did disappoint us.

The atmosphere was very peaceful.

Proximity to Venice airport was the main consideration in light of the fact that flights to the us (via Frankfurt) require arrival 2 hours before a departure at 6:30 in the morning. The hotel is an extremely fine establishment, and all the staff were extremely good, friendly and professional. The convenient shuttle to P. Roma and to the airport, and a buffet breakfast were additional considerations.

Breakfast commences at 7 A.M. so early air passengers via Venice airport who have to arrive at 5 A.M.cannot avail themselves of the buffet offered. Likewise the shuttle to the airport only starts at 5:30 A.M. making it useless for many of Venice's early flights out (esp. To the us) and since the shuttles collect passengers from Anthony's second hotel, it makes prediction of arrival very problematic.

The hotel had a nice buzz - the overall atmosphere was vibrant. Good modern facilities and a particularly spacious room . Excellent bathroom - great shower.

The staff at reception both when we checked in and checked out were abrupt, disinterested and took too long to attend to the processes. This spoilt an otherwise pleasant experience.

Close to Marco Polo airport and they have a shuttle service to the airport or into Venice for $5.00 euros a person each way. A taxi will cost at least $40.00 Euros each way. The hotel is close to all types of shopping and resturants that are in walking distance. Great breakfast choices at the hotel which was free at the time of our travel.

The hotel is in need of a SPRING CLEANING. Dust and Dirty windows every where. Could be a 5 star hotel if a good cleaning was done. When using the shuttle service into Venice, make sure you know the EXACT location you will be picked up from. Even though I asked where the pick up stop would be and we were 40 minutes early for pick up. They came in a different van and parked between buses, by the porter service where the tourist buses unload, so we did not see the van until they left. They would not come back to get us, so we had to wait an additional hour and fourty minutes for the next shuttle. The staff does not go out of their way to welcome you but they get the job done.

The room was beautiful, very modern and comfortable.
