Perfect location near Termini Station. Wi-fi included. Receipt excluding municipality tax was not transparent. Staff were reluctant to provide receipt (hand written) or invoice (sent afterwards by email).

The location is fantastic since it is literally across the street from the Termini station and the staff was excellent. It is also refurbished and rooms are larger than many we have stayed in. The Wi-Fi also worked well. Breakfast food variety was good including eggs. Basically the same thing that I always struggle with in Europe. No wash cloths. So we have learned to bring old ones and throw away when we leave.

The fact that it was near the central station We had a big problem with a mini bus we had the reception girl book for us.Actually we were supposed to leave the hotel-with our students-at 8 and the bus never showed up.We had already given the mo9ney without a receipt, although we asked for one,and when we asked what was happening the new clerk told us that iut was not her fault. Finally we were obliged to go to the airport by train and pay 4 euros extra each. This was a school trip and we-the teachers-felt very inconvenient...it is a pity to be treated this way.We almost missed the plane and they did not seem to caere at all.

Breakfast is good. Room is clean. Location is not bad. Not feeling comfortable for the hotel charged via my credit card twice, so i paid double expenses : one for the room, and the staff told the second charge is from booking.com, and I would get the refund. One month after i cam back from the trip, I have not received yet!!!

The thing I lilke best about Hotel alle Guglie is its proximinity to the train station and Piazzale Roma. It's an easy walk to the hotel after arriving or to the station when leaving. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. It's the only hotel I've stayed at where a staff member helped me carry my luggage to my room (the building does not have elevator services). It is very clean and breakfast is more than adequate. Like many hotels, the mattresses at this hotel are old, but I still got a decent night's sleep.

A truly excellent boutique style hotel. The average size room with high ceilings is tastefully decorated, has LCD tv and aircon. Friendly helpful receptionists -24hr with lift access. Free Wifi a bonus for staying in touch online.Safe in room for storing passports etc. baggage storage when you checkout. Perfectly located by the Termini train and bus station for commuters and Rome city explorers. Roof top restaurant provided an adequate continental breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon too. This hotel is beside everything! In minutes you can access shops in the Termini, cafe's bars along the street and tour buses. The Termini is where you get the Metro to all of Rome. But the single most defining point of the hotel is its location- by fluke I booked this for our first trip to Rome and I was delighted that the Terravision bus that takes you from the airport to the city centre Termini station pulls up across the street from the hotel door- A godsend when you arrive in a strange city at any hour with luggage. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this again. The shower cubicle is small and might be a problem for some but it's only a small gripe !

The location was good Considering that it was a 4 star hotel there was no tea/coffee facility in the room. There was a water problem in the bathroom. The water from the shower was either too hot or too cold, temperature control could not be done. the breakfast was just average with no provision for heating the eggs.

The location was very good, but the room are small for a hotel of 4*. At breakfast you have only 1 plate, 1 cup for tea or caffe and 1 glass for water/juice. It is breakfast bufet type but is incredible how do they think to make economy... The cofee was very bad for Italy.

The real part of Italy and its daily life. - The real as In what you see not normally in Other train stations. The people and the mix of italian and foreigners in the termini Itally interchange. The super market- Just opposite makes its very convienient to pick up normal price items. The train station- lots of Eateries, macdonalds, cafes. shops. Business of people. Its good location, if you are travelling to other parts of italy. Other wise, staying other parts of rome is better for general tourists. Quite safe despite its mix of people. I was a single asian girl walking around in slippers and no one disturbed me or anything. It was sort of walking around in Singapore, very localised. I could not say what I didnt like. If I could not say something to improve it. 1. Airconditioner - As its winter, we had to open the slight ajar window, so the pollution came into room. The noise started as early as 4am. Buses etc..right below Hotel. Though Window was sound proof, but it was hot even though the aircon switch heater and cooler was not really working. So I had to open the ajar window, which led to the smell in the room. Improve: by making sure the aircon and heater is working. 2. Design of the room that we purchased - Assuming this looks like a boutique hotel. It was very basic and the beds were really small. even for asian. Improve : i like to recommend the hotel owners to develop a cost effective theme and design. For example. Make it more cosier and comfortable. a) Rome theme, Modern , Contemporary, Vatican, Flourence themes.. b) better beds, pillows, blankets, standard twin size beds c) ironing board (none) d) conditioner (none given) e) very important in winter - Hot Pot for water and coffee and tea. (none) f) complimentary water and fruits g) discount vouchers to eat in near by restaurants. h) basic breakfast - to implement a standard breakfast menu. i) sticky floor on arrival. J) wifi tried many times to login, failed connected and disconnected again and again. Finally gave up. In UK, i never had this problem.

the location and it was open late at night, tho only with one receptionist. Clean sheets, plentiful towels. Plentiful hot water. I had e mailed and asked for a quiet room but got one overlooking the street. Despite the double glazing it was rather noisy and I could not leave the window open, which made the small room stuffy. All my queries in two e mails were ignored, obviously not read. I had to produce my iPad to show the e mails I had sent, as the desk guy did not want to check his inbox...At one in the morning I was called and offered a quieter room, and I said it was too late. The tv was big but only had Italian channels. As I left the hotel staff said I should have called them to put on the English channels, and I said it had been too late at night and they should put instructions in the room on how to do this. The bathroom decor was good but the shower very narrow, so hard to use, and I dont think the push button soap on the wall is appropriate to an allegedly four star hotel. Really a three star one, very overpriced, and it was unfortunately a very poor experience at a high price..
