Completely renovated, the new and improved Hotel Aphrodite welcomes you to the heart of Rome, and right next to Termini Train Station. This is a very privileged location for a hotel in Rome, since every major monument and tourist attraction is easily reached by a short walk or by taking one of the many transportation options from Termini. All rooms are decorated in modern style with pastel colors, the floors feature wooden parquet and the bathrooms mosaic tiles and marble floors. Hotel Rooms: 62

The night réceptionist was rude, the room not very clean. We found some hermits and bugs in our beds. And we had to sleep with this insects during two days, cause the staff were enabable to help us. The breakfast was awful, it's look like pre-pack from a shop.

As it was our first trip to Rome we had to be advised by booking.com as to the best places to stay. This hotel was excellently located next to he termini which made traveling around the city very easy. The hotel was on the main street but once inside or on the roof top terrace you could have been any where as it was so quiet and peaceful. I have already recommended the hotel ot friends who are visiting Rome later this year. And plan to re-visit in the near future. If I was being picky there was no bar or evening food - but you only needed to walk 20 metres and you had excellent bars & restaurants. Also I eat a many different restaurants whilst in Rome and never encountered one I would not recommend or re-visit

The hotel is well situated in the center of the city in walking distance from all public transport (buses, metro, and trains). Choice of food for breakfast could be more varied.

+ location (near Termini station and airport bus shuttle station) + hotel cleanness; - General image: a 3* acceptable hotel; - rude receptionist (the men); - the windows not closing to well (cold and noise); - extremely small room and bathroom; - modest (still acceptable) breakfast; - old furniture;

Vicinity to Termini The staff were outright rude. Shouting at us for not having an adapter with us "how can you travel without an adapter?" was the response when we asked for one and were surprised to find out that they had none....And we were called difficult clients because we asked for a receipt for the 6 euros tax - this being a business trip it is a legal requirement.

Excellent location, good breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff, very good value for the price. Well they cleaned every day, but… maybe the cleaning lady to my room was a trainee. Sad - The mattresses; thought they seem to be new - are bad. You feel every single spring! I think they forgot to put the top cushion on it. But anyhow - I would go back there!

Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel was very clean. Location was perfect. We walked to most of the attractions. Took a tube to the Vatican and the station Termini (main station in Roome) was literally across the road from the hotel. The Airport shuttle bus also stopped outside Termini. Price was also very reasonable and it included breakfast.

The room was clean and spacious. Although it was close to the station, I didn't have any noise problems. Friendly personel. Breakfast was great!

What I like best about this hotel is the location. It is just across the Roma Termini station. Hence, everything is within reach. There are plenty of restaurants, souvenir stores, pizzarias, gelatarias and shopping nearby. The metro station is also within the Roma Termini station so commuting to other parts of Rome was easy for only EUR4 for one day unlimited travel. The hop-on hop-off bus stops on the other side of the Roma Termini station which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. The room is not that big, but for the 2 of us it's just the right size. The shower however, is quite small, with no room to move. But that aside, we were happy with this hotel because the location is superb, the hotel is clean, breakfast was reasonable and acceptable and the staff ws friendly. They even allowed us to check in before the check in time as our room was available then. The shower is quite small with no room to move.

There are several reason to choose this hotel. 1 clean 2. Staff are friendly 3. very good breakfast 4 good security and it is very convenience. Some times the room is too strong air condition or too closed makes strange smells. Some time the price is too high that prevents booking room.

We have stopped at the Aphrodite before the hotel is convenient for travel around Rome, the rooms are sufficient and clean, we asked for a quiet room which we had. We would have liked a English tv channel to keep up with the news otherwise it was fine.

The hotel was extremely clean and the location perfect, The rooms are probably the smallest I have ever experienced with less than 18cm of space at either side of the bed. It is not possible to stnd infront of the wardrobe and open the door, you must stand at the side os kneel on the bed as space is so tight, I would reccommend the hotel for its location but would always mention the size of the rooms.
