Perfect location! The most expensive place we've been to during our trip, but the worst service as well. Very dirty (doesn't seem they even cleaned the room), it's the only hotel I've been to where there's no toilet seat! Door lock required quite an effort to open it. The only good thing is that a young lady at reception was trying to be helpful, but in the morning she was replaced by another lady not speaking a single word in English. No cards accepted.

The family was nice and welcoming. Only their daughter Ornella spoke English, who was very helpful. The location was wonderful, which for staying only 3 nights helped us to explore the city very easily. They tried their best to communicate ways to get to the ruins and mt vesuvius but didn't seem like they had a good idea of it. I would think they would have an easy to read map being that is the reason everyone visits pompeii. We walked to the ruins in about 20 minutes and found a grocery store right next door. When we arrived no one told us that they turn the heat of at night. We were backpacking and walking through the rain and heat was our main necessity. After the first night we woke up freezing. I asked the "Nona" about it but there was a language barrier. From the conversation I got that it was not possible to leave it on all night. I asked Ornella twice the next day to make sure no one turned our heat off at night. She said she would mention it to her uncle. The heat was "sneakily" turned off after we went to bed again. We woke up in the middle of the night and I rang the bell at 4am. The mother came out in a scarf and a jacket and told me it wasn't cold. The language barrier did not help. After about 30 minutes of arguing she finally turned it back on. It was a big hassle and we lost a lot of sleep because of the cold. This is more of a bnb and not a hotel. If someone pays to stay at your hotel, you accommodate them. You do not tell them they can't have something that is advertised in the booking. I am in the hospitality business myself and this is not run very well. I'm sure it's ok in summer but for the winter this "hostel- like bed and breakfast" is not ideal. We ended up going to Hotel Diana for our third night and didnt have any problems with heat. They we more than welcoming and let us pick fresh oranges off their trees. They were also very helpful with getting to mt. Vesuvius. Only go to Hotel Apollo if you don't mind the cold, otherwise the place isn't that bad. The family was very nice other than their heating dilemma.

Very central to both train stations 5 minutes, same for the ruins, loads of good food, all around to fit every pocket. Single balcony room shower and toilet a few steps down the hall.plenty of hot water,Staff very friendly and helpful,Lady night receptionist spoke good english.Didnt eat in the Hotel,as their are lots of pizza places nearby that seem to be open 24/7 launderette 5 doors to the right facing the front door stays open until 21.00 Good price. Would definately stay here again. Very noisy all day and night, as all rooms face the street. but you can close the full length roller blind. If its not too hot. Butthe bed was a bit hard for me.

Good location, possibility of parking the car free of charge is also nice. I can recommend this hotel, if somebody want to visit Neapel. It is near train station with good connection to Neapel main station. Hotel staff was very friendly and familiar. It is rather poor, but we missed nothing to have pleasure stay.

This is a good value hotel in an excellent position in the middle of town - only 20m from the square. The staff are very pleasant and I would certainly stay there again. I walked a long way around to find a shop but there is one 5 min away. Turn right outside hotel and go to end of street, turn right and go 20m and look to your left - a supermarket.

We were very taken with the Apollo Hotel as "Mama", the owner/manager was a real character from chattering away to us in Italian, which we could not understand, to kissing us goodbye and waving us off when we left. It was a charming place, quite basic but very clean with an easy atmosphere. The location in relation to the ruins and other amenities was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

It was close to Pompeii, maybe like 20 min. Walk if that. There were nice views out the window. Also the staff were really nice and helpful. There was no breakfast included with the price of the room. Also my room key opened a few other rooms.

Kortom waardeloos.
