We were not actually in Trinita d'Agulta but in a bay around...
We were not actually in Trinita d'Agulta but in a bay around from Isola Rossa called Marinedda. The bays are beautiful, the sea clean and the swimming amazing. There is a lot of wildlife here including tortoises which are huge. We spent most of our time walking, snorkelling and swimming. However, the area is getting very neglected and we saw quite a lot of rubbish around and areas which were being used as toilets with a lot of tissue paper there. They need to put up public toilets or encourage people to use the bars with signage. The quality of the restaurants is not great and we ate mostly at Coc Codrillus as the atmosphere is good and the food is generally OK and the owners very accommodating with our dog. This our 4th time here but we will not return. It is one of the most beautiful coastlines with crystal clear sea but it is getting spoiled by too many visitors and not enough thought into the infrastructure and environment. If you can overlook that then visit.

Trinata d'Agulta is probably the best location to stay as it is near to Isola Rosa which is central to some of the best beaches and facilities around. You are literally 10 minutes drive from all the best beaches in Isola Rosa and 40 minutes drive from Santa Teresa (recommended beaches are Paradiso beach, Spiaggia la Marinedda, Castelsardo, Port Torres, Stinini, Santa Teresa). I also recommend the Aqua Park in Isola Rosa, we had two fantastic trips there and the best waterslides I have ever been on and very clean and well maintained.LorraineUnited Kingdom
