Noise Shower not up to standard Tired facilities
Nice area - right beside Santa Maria piazza Admin / check in staff friendly. Buzzing night life - plenty of restaurants and bars.
Church bells every hour and each and every fifteen minutes - continually throughout the night. Apartment not good value for money. Dark and dingy stairway on a timer switch - strong smell of dog at other apartments - which barked continually and owner shouting at it - no sound proofing what so ever. Dark apartment - mood dropped at thought of entering same. Front door daubbed with graffeti.
Great location, walking distance from almost all major sites, but quiet neigbourhood compared to old city Rome Good local restaurants and supermarket at walking distance Nice bar on the corner Spacious apartment for two people, good beds and fast wifi.
No view from apertment windows but who needs views when you're in Rome!
I loved the balcony. It was good location. There were 3 beds. I enjoyed every minute. Could gladly been there a week more.
One bed was not so comfy and weak wifi signals.
Location terrific, lots of noisy nightlife and restaurants below and in the streets around Trastevere but the double glazed windows cut out most of the noise. Staff very quick to respond when we needed them to fix lights. apartment is stylish.
sofa beds are very uncomfortable to sleep in, also to sit in. Kitchen very small and a bit dark but workable given we mostly ate out.
An appartment was so nice that it was diffucult to leave.
Some strange smell in the shell where the glasses were located.
Quiet, quaint, good chill out apartment with a very unique lift access. Good instant hot clean water. The location is perfect to visit anything in Rome... All withing 20 mins everywhere
The bathroom is very small and the toilet it awkward for me at just under 6 FT but clean and ok TV only in Italian .... But were not there for the TV are we
Location, close to 23 bus route and therefore tram to train station, as well as in a pleasant restaurant and bar area with narrow streets walkable to all attractions.
Camp beds. Exterior. Waiting for the key to be delivered (partly our fault as you must ring, no SMS or email). Not cheap. As all the streets are cobbled, take a robust suitcase.
Only minus is that there was just one set of keys available.
The location was great. Spacious appartment. Give you plenty of towels.
Gets loud at night - can hear neighbours talking. Wifi is terrible in the main bedroom. It only works in the room where the router is.
The sofa bed is very comfortable and I reckon is better than the ones in bedroom.
All ok except the following needs improving:- 1) very noisy at night and early morning perhaps from Shops below. 2) need a lockable door to bathroom 3) perhaps install AC to rooms as well. 4) the bed in the 1st room makes a lot of noise.
Location, quick response to queries or issues
Noisy toilet cistern, no privacy curtain in upstairs room/space, a number of light switches didn't work.
Lovely and quiet for sleeping. Great area for restaurants and shops.
No coffee making facilities. No plug for sink to wash dishes so wondering how many people before us didn't was dishes properly! Also couldn't find dishwashing liquid!
quiet in a big city covenient (shopping, site-seeing, etc...)
power is not very stable
We were staying in via grande natale in Trastevere. The location was just great. We were in the best neighborhood. It was so lively with lots of restaurants and bars. However, the apartment was located in a quiet street. The tramstop was only a 3 min walk. You can also just walk to the center of Rome. The apartment was good too. It was clean and it had all the facilities we needed.
We didn't like we had to wait long for the people to check us in when we arrived at the apartment from the airport. We have waited more than 1 hour. So in the end we have lost the whole evening. The lift was just too small ! The pram of my baby didn't fit so we had to fold it and one by one we could go up. Also not handy for your luggage. We have manage but it was a pain.
The apartement had two separate bedrooms including bathrooms for each bedroom - very convinient.
The cleaning could have been a bit better unfortunately.
Large enough for family of 6 Bathrooms and Bedrooms Clean Greeter was pleasant and very informative Close to tram and local restaurants Laundry across street
Kitchen dishes, and fridge/freezer not clean. Ants though out kitchen. WiFi only worked in common area. No in apartment laundry
-great location. you can visit all major attractions in rome by walk. -great wi/fi. -clean rooms. -excellent hospitality. we've rented a car, then staff guided us from siena to rome and helped us to find a parking lot. nice information provided about the attractions and roman life. -all in all; great "value for money" location to stay.
-we've stayed only for 3 days, wish it'd be longer.
Trastevere is a cool district in Rome, took only 10 min. from our apartment to get to heart of it. A bit long walk to Vatican - 30 min or so. If you are a family with a baby in a stroller - be ready for the bumpy stone streets of Rome. Really like the staff - driver Valerio is highly recommended, also initially we had an issue with hot water and it was quickly resolved at 23:00 in 20 minutes. Still, ROME is an eternal city... enjoy it!
The location promised on the map of Rome did not correspond to the real one. As we spent 3 night and it was unusual +30 September heat, it was very hot in the room though portable AC's worked. The room is full of old books, furniture and art objects - normally it would be ok, but it raised my concern since it is not the best environment for a baby.
This apartment is located in Via Della Scala, a very lively narrow street in Trastavere, and in easy walking distance of most of the sights of Rome. We liked the layout of the apartment, which falls into two separate parts, each with its own bathroom, sitting area and bed mezzanine. Don't miss Santa Maria in Trastavere - a fantastic historic church.
1 Shabby main sitting area, with dirty sofa, shabby loose covers and scruffy decoration; 2 Mis-matched chipped china - plenty large plates, three odd bowls, no mugs, not enough for 6 potential occupants; 3 Stairs from one bed floor dangerous where they make a turn - led to a slip and bad cut toe - not what you need when walking the streets of Rome! Agents sold airport pick up at 60euro from Ciampano. Regulated taxi fare is 30euro. Return booking sold to us on arrival - another 60euros for a 30euro trip. Would do better to list a taxi number in the apartment. Overall, would not make 2* in the UK, so could do better.
The location The roof terrace Overall decor has character
The apartment was not well maintained. The building entrance needs remodeling-at least a paint The beds are not comfortable The kitchen is not well equipped and is dirty, we couldnt use the kitchenware The washing machine is not usable No elevator for the luggage Not suitable for families with young kids
location air conditioning decor fairly comfortable apartment
had to wait for half an hour for somebody to arrive with the keys, in spite of multiple e-mails and phone calls; saving grace there was a good cafe around the corner - and after all this is Mediterranean :-)
We loved being walking distance to absolutely everything in Rome, while still away from the crowds. We wander from our door each morning for great breakfast and then onto all the major sites of interest around Rome city. In the evening it was so convienient to find great places to eat and relax in the piazza drinking wine. Plenty if restaurant choices at good prices.
Don't stay here if you plan to use public transport, we didn't but it would be a Crazy to think you could. Taxi from airport etc, only easy way to go.
Great location and apartment.
The neighbourhood is great, nice restaurants, The appartement is big but quite old; needs reforming. BAthroom for sure. Put extra airco in other room
The shower does not work great and you have to hold it in your hand to shower, otherwise it falls down,. Airconditioning only working properly in one room, so we all had to sleep in one room when there were three available.
