The location is very good: close to Trastevere district core, supermarkets nearby, tram to city center and buses to other attractions are very close. City center reachable by foot in 25 minutes. The windows go into the internal courtyard, and it is extremely quiet. Temperature in the apartment is easily adjustable through a thermostat (crucial in winter). The inside of the apartment has everything essential but nothing more; so an excellent minimalistic apartment for 3-4 people.
The WiFi signal in the bedroom is extremely poor. The windows are not tight.
wood madonna and jesus by bed, wood roof, wifi, location of apartment; sofa;
less light in the apartment, no big light in bed room; no possibility open window in bed room, noise from street and restaurant in the night; by rain is wet flor by entrance;
The location in the exciging quarter Trastevere, quiet and confortable
A little cold
Very close to good restaurants with good price. Easy to go around in Rome since it's close to the public transportations and quite neighborhood. Staff were excellent.
New location was found for €50 more but only after us standing our ground. Staff very helpful dispute bad start. Second location was in a great area, security very high, location excellent.
First apartment shown was in a very poor street, vomit outside front door, windows missing on ground floor - not what was shown on web site - in the poorer areas of Travestere. Second apartment was great but the bedroom on a mezzanine and very stuffy.
Great location (easy to reach with public transport, lots of good restaurants nearby, easy to reach the touristic sites), hassle free check-in, the kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment was well maintained and clean.
1. Local information provided in the folder in the apartment was outdated. 2. The sofa bed was not comfortable. My friend suffered backache and had to sleep on the other sofa instead. 3. For light sleepers, it could be noisy on weekend nights as there are restaurants/pubs nearby. However, this is typical for stays close by happening places :)
We liked the size, three bathrooms.
The noise. The noise of the street and restaurant outside made it seem like we were in a tent on a side walk. The windows were shut but the noise made it seem like they were wide open. Also, both bedrooms were lofts with no privacy or noise control. The clearance in the two bedrooms was low for an average adult.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. They provided a map and suggested times/places to get most out of our Rome Trip. The location was great and we were able to walk from the apartment to all the sites.
Parking is rather expensive when staying in Rome. Expect to pay 25 to 30 Euro a night.
"Local" neighborhood, not so "touristy". Park around the corner for our children to have some playtime. just what we were looking for in a lodging for our stay.
We were told the heat came on 2xs/day. However, the wall radiator heaters never were on the 5 days we were there.
The apartment was very spacious ... Linen clean beds comfy .. Loved how central it is ... We walked everywhere locals very friendly and local food was fantastic.
Only that a lot of light globes were blown ...
Located in the oldest quarter of Rome, you don't have to go far to have a great drink or full meal that will not disappoint you. But when you need some calm, you can go back to the apartment and be at peace. Not too far from the main connection (tram n8) to Piazza Venezia, you can get everywhere in no time. Nice landlords and neighbors. The clerk that dealt with us also spoke many languages perfectly. The apartment is equipped with all necessities (no dishwasher or washing machine though) and even all detergents/wash cloths/iron etc are provided. However, we don't believe it is fully equipped for more than 3-4 people. Can't understand why many people are complaining about the waiting time. The initial email that came from the administration stated that you should call ahead as soon as you arrive at the airport, or at least when you are about an hour away from arriving. We did and only waited 5 minutes. Internet broke down once so we called them and they came to fix it in a matter of a couple of hours, great service!
Cleaning service did not come, even though date was set. Minor: Really hard mattresses No elevator (as mentioned on their website), so beware of too heavy or bulky luggage. Not handicap accessible.
Location is fantastic. Market and cafe's just down the road. Close to all great spots in the City.
Window view could've been better, however when on holidays why stay in the hotel? Wifi was a new unit and was having speed issues.
Great location, walking distance from major sites, close to good restaurants, clean, spacious, nice welcome, help with Roma pass, excellent wifi, good value for money.
The noise the WC makes when you flush!
The apartment is in a great location in Trastevere, my favourite part of Rome. It's just a 5 min walk from the Piazza Di Santa Maria in Trastevere which is in the heart of the coolest part of Rome. The apartment was nice with a very comfortable bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge and a decent kitchen.
Firstly there was an overwhelming perfume smell in the apartment which we tracked down to being in the pot pourri and some decorative arrangement. It was so strong I had an instant headache and we had to open all the doors and windows for two hours just to cope even after putting the offending items out in the foyer. For the next two days we had to air the apartment for hours each time we came in. I suspect it was something they put in to cover the smell of cigarette smoke. Also there is only a makeshift sliding door to the bedroom made of some kind of hessian which doesn't close properly so there is no sound-proofing between the bedroom and the rest of the apartment. We were travelling either our daughter and wanted a separate room but it was pretty much just like having a curtain between us. Also the day before we had to leave we discovered late at night that the washing machine didn't work at all. I rang the number and asked them to fix it. I asked them to call in the morning but they never did so we were unable to get our washing done as we didn't want to spend our last day in Rome running around looking for a lavanderia. If I had known about the bedroom door and the washing machine not working I would not have booked this apartment.
Local area and character of the apartment
Bed in the lounge. Sofa bed would have been better
Noise Shower not up to standard Tired facilities
Nice area - right beside Santa Maria piazza Admin / check in staff friendly. Buzzing night life - plenty of restaurants and bars.
Church bells every hour and each and every fifteen minutes - continually throughout the night. Apartment not good value for money. Dark and dingy stairway on a timer switch - strong smell of dog at other apartments - which barked continually and owner shouting at it - no sound proofing what so ever. Dark apartment - mood dropped at thought of entering same. Front door daubbed with graffeti.
Great location, walking distance from almost all major sites, but quiet neigbourhood compared to old city Rome Good local restaurants and supermarket at walking distance Nice bar on the corner Spacious apartment for two people, good beds and fast wifi.
No view from apertment windows but who needs views when you're in Rome!
I loved the balcony. It was good location. There were 3 beds. I enjoyed every minute. Could gladly been there a week more.
One bed was not so comfy and weak wifi signals.
Location terrific, lots of noisy nightlife and restaurants below and in the streets around Trastevere but the double glazed windows cut out most of the noise. Staff very quick to respond when we needed them to fix lights. apartment is stylish.
sofa beds are very uncomfortable to sleep in, also to sit in. Kitchen very small and a bit dark but workable given we mostly ate out.
An appartment was so nice that it was diffucult to leave.
Some strange smell in the shell where the glasses were located.
Quiet, quaint, good chill out apartment with a very unique lift access. Good instant hot clean water. The location is perfect to visit anything in Rome... All withing 20 mins everywhere
The bathroom is very small and the toilet it awkward for me at just under 6 FT but clean and ok TV only in Italian .... But were not there for the TV are we
Location, close to 23 bus route and therefore tram to train station, as well as in a pleasant restaurant and bar area with narrow streets walkable to all attractions.
Camp beds. Exterior. Waiting for the key to be delivered (partly our fault as you must ring, no SMS or email). Not cheap. As all the streets are cobbled, take a robust suitcase.
Only minus is that there was just one set of keys available.
The location was great. Spacious appartment. Give you plenty of towels.
Gets loud at night - can hear neighbours talking. Wifi is terrible in the main bedroom. It only works in the room where the router is.
