Located in the public square of the Duomo, the medieval "Palace Maria" of Cefalu was probably constructed during the time of King Ruggero II in 1139. The City of Cefalu is internationally renowned and attracts tourists from all over the world.
In addition to the famous Duomo and many other historic buildings, Cefalu has a fine sandy beach, with a wonderful reef bathed in limpid waters. Just a few minutes walk from the sea, the Palace Maria has been totally renovated to the highest standards.
Individual apartments are fitted with classical antique furniture and each has air conditioning, independent heating and a large sun terrace overlooking the Duomo, the imposing Rocca or the sea from which the Aeolian Islands emerge.
The restaurant serves traditional Sicilian food and has a formidable wine cellar.
The Cefalu the city of Palermo, rich in history and culture, is within easy reach and the Aeolian Islands can be visited via daily hydrofoil connections. The National Park of the Madonie is paradise for nature lovers. For sporting enthusiasts, horse riding, tennis and golf are all within easy reach.

From Palermo airport following indication Motorway (A20) direction Messina -after 50 minutes go out Cefalu drive direction Center towards the Piazza Colombo by the seaside,parking and from there walk about 5 minutes to Duomo square.

From Catania airport following motorway(A19)direction Palermo after 160km almost you will indication Motorway Messina following it and drive for further 15 km there you see indication Cefalu -drive direction Center towards the Piazza Colombo by the seaside,parking and from there walk about 5 minutes to Duomo square.
