It's in a middle of nowhere.
It's in a middle of nowhere. But...it has a potential, it's just..in the centre of the world, between Marche and Umbria, and Emilia Romania is near. We were able to visit Urbino, Gradara, San Marino, San Leo, Assisi, Gubbio. When leaving home...Imola, Ferrara.

Gorgeous authentic medieval town with excellent museums and...
Gorgeous authentic medieval town with excellent museums and history. Great restaurant near by "Barbara" Beautiful countryside with lots of beautiful surprises when taking all of the back roads. Perfect for a slow road trip. We really enjoyed the trip to San Leo which is a marvelous fortified village with a fort but not very touristy!

If you have full tank of gas and really want to see the mountains- go the second route :). We like everything about this agriturismo- the mountains, our great and kind host, the hotel, the swimming pool, food (breakfast was included), atmosphere.SergeiCanada

He can even arrange visits to the local church-museum which is rich with extraordinary masterpieces. His information made us feel "home" in Mercatello. Extremely kind, he did his best to meet our requirements (we eat plant-based). ... and the bed was just a dream!
