staff helpfulness, cleanliness, location, location, location,
difficult to find, bring complete details of exact location.
Location is really good, room is okay, elevator
very bad wifi, noise in the streets due to central location of hotel (although we didn't mind this)
The location was great for a city visit and the guest has great links with a local renowned cafe for their breakfast meals.
The owner did not respond to emails and was condescending to foreign travelers.
Great location between the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. The friendly and helpful owner, comfortable bedroom, a well equipped bathroom. Breakfast is served at a nearby cafe and pleasant, not very varied but satisfactory. I recommend
Beliggenhed var fantastisk, hvis man søger et sted midt i byen, så er sani tourist house the place!!!!!! amazing service, i would go there Again! Wifi not that good, we had problems with the toilet, But they fix everything when you need it!
Room 6, a little gem tucked away in the uppermost, secure, clean and comfortable building overlooking the small square next to Dante's birthplace. So close to the centre of Florence with a really helpful and considerate Manager who took care of our bags for a few hours whilst we went into the city.
Excellent location, Central but quiet at night Room had all you need kettle, fridge, hair dryer, safe even a corkscrew ! Lovely relaxed homely atmosphere great for travelling with mum Remo manages a nice balance of being there if you need him but not intrusive if you are happy doing your own thing Breakfast at a different place this year but just as nice and great choice of drinks and pastries. Can't recommend it enough in fact already have to a small group who are travelling next year !
Wifi was a bit weak at times but not really a problem .. It was available 99% of the time!
I liked the fact the Tourist House is very near to the Duomo - giving this fact I didn't have to use transportation at all there - everything by walk. Nice staff, a lot of tips of where to go and what to do. It was really warm and we had AC - this is great.
THIS shouldn't stop you to go there, it's very good. Just two things that bothered me a bit: I'm very tall and the bathroom stall was uncomfortable - there was kind of a roof and I couldn't regulate the height of the shower. But for my girlfriend that is short this wasn't a problem. The couple bed was actually two single mattresses. During our sleep we were separating it. BUT I still thing is a very good place to stay. It was very nice.
Walking distance to the Dome. right next to the Dante's Meuse. very helpful staff.
Good room, nice atention.
We liked everything.
The location was excellent, right by Dante's house and a block from Sta. Maria del Fiore (il Duomo). The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.
Because its central location, it can be noisy as tourists are out and about late at night and the sound comes up. Once the windows are closed there is no problem with noise, but you will need the air conditioning (if you travel in the summer), which is an additional fee.
The hotel is on the top flour of historic palace. The palace is next to Casa di Dante, # minutes walk from Duomo and 5 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio (the bridge). Very friendly and helpful staff.
It is hard to get there by car. The breakfast of limited size is in "cantinetta" nearby.
Location is beautiful. We had a fully equiped apartment on corner with Bargello museum, in the heart of Florence. 5 minutes walk to reach all points of historical center. For a resonable price in the expensive Florence. Not noisy at all. It is a true florentine experience especialy if you are havind a longer stay to taste it.
The owner, even if he is friendly and problem solver, is a litlle bit shy. I mean sometimes he is quite difficult to contact him on the phone.
The room was very tastefully decorated - it is evident the owner took a lot of care into it. The room was also very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast at a local cafe was wonderful! The location is also great - very central and great accessibility.
It would be great if air conditioning could be included - it was less hot with the windows open, but really quite noisy into early hours of the morning.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Self catering flat comfortable, and air -con available [essential in summer]. View of the Duomo's dome from our window wonderful over the roof tops. Central location made site seeing so easy. Slightly eccentric crocery and cutlery!
The reception was great and the place is well located.
Staff availability is limited.
Staff was very helpful.
Excellent location. Could not be better. The room and bathroom were super clean. Both had tile floors. There was no AC but the window opened wide onto a side street and the air flow was good even without a fan. It was kind of noisy, but not terrible. It was just people taking and street cleaning, but no car traffic (street is too narrow). I suggest bringing ear plugs if noise bothers you. I had them but didn't use them since it wasn't that bad. The breakfast was included in the room rate. It was at a bakery/cafe about two blocks away and it was really good. The bed was comfortable.
The housekeeper told me the water was not potable, but I drank it anyway, and I think it probably is fine. My husband who is very picky and likes luxury said he thought the hotel was just acceptable, but I though it was nice and I would stay there again.
Location is good since it is near the Duomo and other tourist areas in Florence. The signage is difficult to see since it is small and unnoticeable. Direction to get to the BNB was not clear.
The noise from outside. We had to keep the windows opened since it would be stuffy if closed. Noise from passerby with loud shouting until 3 AM was a daily occurrence.
The staff was so kind, even though we spoke no Italian. They walked us to our apartment and made sure everything was in order before leaving us to it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Florence. I even told my sister to stay there when she is on her honeymoon.
Great location! We were only there for one night but it would be a perfect place to stay longer. Our apartment had a washing machine and cooking facilities.
- Great place. At a walking distance to almost any siteseeing. - Polite personnel - Nice breakfast in the nearby Verazzano coffee shop - View to the towers from my room - Excelent free WiFi.
- A bit expensive given the facilities although this is common for most Florence hotels. - The elevator is really small but it couldnt be larger given that its an old building. - There are time constraints for check in and check out. - Noise insulation is not so good but I didnt bother since most of the time you are around for site-seeing
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was a decent size and was clean and comfortable. There was a shower in the room which was an added bonus for the price. It was nice having the breakfast passes each morning.
The place was a little hard to find. I wasn't sure how to find the actual place, and it wasn't marked very clearly. The place where you get breakfast is not right next to the hotel, and I wish there was better directions to the restaurant.
Manager spoke English and helped with my attempts at Italian. Also very helpful with places to visit. Close to Piazza della Signoria and the Duomo.
Room was small and the halls dark, day and night.
