Nothing! Would 100% recommended!
Staff were very helpful, hotel near all attractions but in a quiet area. Breakfast very good. room comfortable and clean.
Silly things don't work E.G WIFI & TV, the hotel is also very warm
Location and staff
Nice design ,nice crew.
bad isolation and very noisy, workers all around the room from early morning, mosquitos !
Friendly helpful staff & very central
Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. Very well equipped room and bathroom Great breakfast Ideal location - couldn't be better in fact! Decent value for what you got Waterproof boots and umbrellas available to borrow were a great little extra service.
The staff has been very good, helpful (it was acqua alta) and smiling. Excellent breakfast. Our room, a junior suite, was very comfortable, deco excellent and styled and the bed super comfortable.
Breakfast was superb, timings are generous. Staff were great, room superb and location couldn't get much better.
Mosquitos in the room.
The location was good a little hard to find at first. Just make sure it's a low tide when you first arrive so the water taxi can drop you at the door.
The rooms where just average. Nice view but nothing special
This hotel is in a great spot which makes it easy to get to all areas of Venice, only 5 mins walk from the Rialto bridge and it's waterbus stop. The decor throughout is dark, lush and stylish, very venetian. our room had a good view over the adjacent canal and was spacious, with a safe, good sized wardrobe and massive bathroom (with a double sink!). The twin beds were comfy and we had air con to keep the room warm/cool. The breakfast is great, loads of choice in a buffet style and runs 7am - 1030am so you can have a lay in if you want. Also check out wasn't until 12 noon which means we weren't rushing on our last day.
there were no tea making facilities in the room which we enjoyed in our earlier Italian hotels, you can order hot drinks from room service or buy them out but both these are pricey. It's not self serve for hot drinks at breakfast either so generally only got the one.
Wonderful little hotel in a great quiet location, ideal for exploring San Marco and beyond. Very helpful staff, including Roberto who gets a special mention for not only answering hundreds of questions by email but also sorting some fantastic reservations for our anniversary. We would love to come back.
The Aqua Palace was centrally located between San Marco Square and Rialto. Great, helpful staff. Nicely appointed rooms. Excellent breakfast. Staff helpful is setting up transportation. Located on quiet canal.
Everything, this hotel is perfect a little pricey but very good quality. Meets US standards for hotel. Breakfast is the best.
The only thing the price was a bit high, but I will stay here again.
All of the staff we met were exceptional. Wonderful dining suggestions followed up with making us reservations. Always available to help with directions and setup tours. Remembered our 20th wedding anniversary with a bottle of Prosecco (I booked many months prior to our arrival yet they still remembered)
Could be difficult to locate if you didn't pay attention to landmarks.
The hotel is gorgeous and has a modern yet distinctly Venetian feel. The staff were very helpful and eager to assist with all matters. Location is perfect, 5 minutes from Sam Marco and 5 minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Would definitely stay there again.
A great location. The style of the hotel fitted perfectly in a visit to Venice. Everything was fine. The lady serving the breakfast did an absolutely great job.
The convenience of the location was outstanding and less than 2 mins from the Square. Staff always polite and helpful.

Hard to find
good location that was close to everywhere.
the bed and pillow was awfully comfortable. it's like my grandma's bed!!!
Coordinating our trip whilst in our home country, the staff was always swift to respond.
(1) the murano island tourist trap-we were told by concierge that they would take us to the island for free by water taxi but there was nothing else to see except that one store. And so we didn't have the leisure lunch we wanted because we were told the island would have last trip back to hotel by 5pm and we arrived at 1 pm. We found out later on , that the island had MANY beautiful shops where we got quite a few things. And taking a water bus back to the main island was not difficult and could be taken regularly til late in the evening . The concierge should never make misrepresentations or have tourist traps . (2) the hotel staff woke us one evening because they could not reach our colleagues whom we travelled with. That is not good hotel practice. (3) we were not informed how to reach the concierge by fine from our room. There was no sign in the room or on the fone. I had to physically go down to the concierge to request for a pillow. And when I asked to borrow a universal adaptor the gentleman told me to get the plug and then go down to see if it would fit in the adaptor. I was not going to go up to my room and down again !!! That's the most ridiculous hotel practice I ever heard. (4) the towels were a bit thin and the pillows a bit flat and not fluffy and only 1 per person was provided .
Surprisingly quiet at night. Great location close to all the attractions we wanted to see and easy to navigate back to once we got used to it. It was good that it had it's own water door for taxis & gondolas. Being a smaller hotel, the staff were able to remember the guests, the host that served breakfast was very lovely, she made us feel welcomed. The rooms were very spacious, surprised by the size of the rooms.
Bad shower, I think get rid of the bath and just have a shower. Having the shower in the bath made it narrow & not that comfortable plus the pressure was not the best.
Great spot for the last couple of days of our honeymoon. They had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room, which had a lovely view overlooking the canal.
central location. breakfast excellent.. excellent staff service
standard room small for 2 people room lighting very dim
Brilliant location and a great hotel, friendly helpful staff and a good nights sleep
Wi if only for 3 days
