Location, staff, breakfast
1. Rooms are spacious and most have a balcony overlooking the lake 2. Breakfast buffet is excellent 3. Staff are friendly and helpful 4. Great location from which to explore the Lake Garda region
Ease of access to the hotel and plenty of free parking and a bus stop directly outside should you wish to go into town without the car. A comfortable room with a lovely view across lake Garda. A splendid terrace and garden where one can enjoy an aperativo, and a truly wonderful dining room, again overlooking the lake. The breakfast is very good and the table beautifully laid and completed with a fresh rose. The dinner menu was not very extensive but the quality of the cuisine was excellent, complemented with some wonderful local wines. The service at the table could not have been better and the waiters were charming. This made for a wonderful evening.
Excellent location.Good value ,excellent breakfast.
Mosquitos coming through the air con vents in the night from the lake. Had a few bites in the morning.
Very bad smell in the rooms (I tried two different), at the end I decided to run away from this hotel, I paid in anyway but I didn't sleep there. Never anymore!
Everything from the initial welcome and offer of assistance with luggage, luxurious room with lake view balcony, vast range of food for breakfast, including really fresh eggs, courteous staff on reception and in the excellent attached Restaurant 'Abbraccio'.
Friendly helpful staff, good size rooms & wonderful views.
Location! Too far from centre, poor transport options, taxi cost €12 for a 5 minute journey but trying to get a taxi was another thing.
The décor, the views, delicious and bountiful breakfast, cheap bike rentals
Hope to revisit next year. Location, views, comfort and excellent value for money. On top of all this,a great, friendly and helpful staff. Many thanks, Paul and Monica.
View of the lake/mountains is gorgeous. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but we drank the best cappuccino's we've ever had (ordered at the bar at breakfast, without extra charge). It has some nice little villages nearby. We liked the south of the lake better than the rest of it (we drove all around).
The bed seemed small. We didn't sleep all that well (tall people). We had very uncomfortable seats on the balcony (hard and small); so if you like to read a book and enjoy the view.......... Small swimming pool, but comfortable for sunbathing.
Loved the view of Lake Garda from our room, 111. Lovely hotel, nice pool. Wifi excellent. Free safe in room, tea/coffee making facilities. Very secure hotel cameras and perimeter security in evenings. 10-15 minute walk to shops etc but bike hire for €1! Excellent location to visit Sirmione, 15 min walk, well worth a visit.
Didn't bother us but no meals served in evening unless you booked 3 days in advance - while we were there!
Close to lake, beautiful panorama over the lake, good service, clean. Very good restaurant.
Very small bathroom
-view -staff -buffet breakfast (extra) but was the best in elegant surroundings -close to other things on Garda
The gentleman who seemed to be there all the time was always polite, informative and extremely helpful. Spoke fantastic English - needs to be told this!
Stunning views Very friendly staff Great breakfast choice Easy to find
The view from the balcony was amazing. The service is very friendly and helpful. Have breakfast while overlooking Lake Garda. The interior was very special.
The matras was to hard for my taste. A problem which I did encounter in several other hotels.
It's a small, familiar hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. From the big balcony we had a wonderful view onto the lake. Every morning the rooms very cleaned neatly as well as the small pool. Breakfast was substantially. The meals in the restaurant we liked very much. Thanks for a wonderful fortnight from Germany.
Location, too far away from town. You need a car if you stay in this hotel. Near the water, but the beach is no use.
Location is good......lakeside is beautiful.everything is perfect.
Nothing as such.
The staff ectremely helpful finding resturants, excutions. Poolside staff were great, never forgeting the little touches, ice & attentive. Perfect location for site-seeing. We took bus evetywhere rather than drive stops right outside to Verona. Sirmione etc.
Rooms a little too basic but functional since we were down at pool or sight-seeing modt of the time & weather was good so outside. .
the view facing the lake!!! the rooms and the terrace, the garden. breakfast and the kindness of the staff at breakfast.
the only thing is noise from the beach, which can be worse at summer time.
The view was nice. The hotel was quiet. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again.
The hotel or rooms could be a little bit more updated...but no real complaints. I would stay there again.
The peacefulness and setting of the location was lovely. The room was very comfortable with a superb view of the lake and nice large balcony. The food in the restaurant was very good.
The lack of a proper bar with some music, i.e. pianist, for use in the evenings.
This hotel was superb. The staff were more than helpful on multiple occasions. The hotel decor may be slightly dated but it didn't detract from the fact it was comfortable, spacious and more than what we expected for the cost. We had a room with a lake view which really topped it off. As this was our honeymoon, I had requested champagne upon arrival, and without fail when we entered our room, we had a chilled bottle and two glasses awaiting us. The hotel is situated a short bus journey from Desanzano and this would really be the only draw back in the evenings as there isn't much to do outside the hotel grounds. Having said that, there is a great restaurant next door and the food in then onsite restaurant is to die for. I was recommended the chocolate pudding for dessert and it lived up to the hype. We would definately recommend this hotel and could not fault anything overall. A very pleasant stay and would almost certainly come back.
