Easy breakfast

The evening receptionist, a young Danish man named Mark, was especially helpful, informative and charming.

Nicely decorated moderised rooms. Good (English speaking) staff, except the chef who didn't arrive for work on the night we used the restaurant - disaster!

The Air Cond in the room only worked on 1 night. The bar and hotel ran out of Vodka. The breakfasts were always cold from having no 'lighting gel' in the ban marie heaters.They cannot cook a piece of veal after 4 tries! There was no 'turn down' and reset bedroom in the evening (which is compulsory to be a 4star hotel in Italy). It was the worst hotel we have stayed in for many years and absolutely the worst 4star hotel we have ever satyed in.We will be writing to the Italian Tourist Board. A good example of why Italy is in serious financial difficulties.

Could not find wifi whole time I was visiting having to walk around hotel to enter swimming area tables at bar on terrace in evening were often not cleared very quickly

wonderful views outside

there were only a few guests and they gave us ar room in the front on only 10 (ten!) meters from the railway, 20 meters from mainroad. we paid € 495 for 3 nights: way to much for the low quality we got: the room was out of date, no brown bread, no fresh orangejuice, bad beds,... we certainly won't go back there!

Radtour um den Lago d'Iseo ist nördlich von Vello lebensgefährlich!Man ist gezwungen, auf der Autostrasse ohne Beleuchtung im Tunnel zu fahren.

L'hotel se situe entre le lac et la voie ferrée, prendre un chambre donnant sur le lac. aucune ville à proximité immédiate, il faut prendre la voiture

Leider keine Bademöglichkeit im See, kein Zugang. Restaurant: Das Risotto war hervorragend. Das T-Bone Steak war zäh, statt Medium war es roh und ungenießbar. Der Fisch hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch. Letztklassig, und das bei dieen Preisen!!!

De locatie, het zicht vanuit de kamer en het terras was fantastisch ! Ook het reso was aangenaam en vriendelijk personeel

praticamente un 3 stelle non sicuramente un 4, lontano dal centro,piscina fredda senza riscaldamento e piccola,domanda.ma le stelle degli hotel le vendono.

Eigenlijk vonden we alles goed. Het personeel was klantvriendelijk, de kamer en het ontbijt waren prima. Je kon er ook 's avond eten, bij het hotel was ook een restaurant. Er was, weliswaar niet zo'n heel groot, zwembad bij, maar met prima stoelen en ligstoelen. En je kreeg elke dag zowel in de kamer als bij het zwembad schone handdoeken. In Pilzone, waar het hotel ligt, is niets te doen, maar het hotel ligt op ca. 3 km van Iseo, een leuk klein dorpje, met leuke winkels, terassen en restaurants. Ook kun je vandaar uit met de boot naar andere dorpen rond het meer en naar Monte Isola, een klein eiland in het Iseomeer. Naast wandelen, kun je ook goed fietsen (we hadden wel onze eigen fietsen meegenomen, want op de fietsen van het hotel kun je geen lange afstanden fietsen).

Het enige minpuntje dat ik mij kan bedenken, is het balkon. Die is zo klein, dat je er eigenlijk niets aan hebt. Je betaalt er wel extra voor. Misschien dat bij het booking.com daarover iets kan worden vermeld.

Mooi hotel, prachtig gelegen aan het meer van Iseo. Dus 's morgens steeds een idylisch ontbijt, buiten op het terras en 's avonds de keuze om in het hotel te eten of één van de vele mooie steden rond het meer te bezoeken.
