Many thank to Mrs. Maria ! Mrs. Maria was all the days during our sojourn a very competent host.
the room was very good. nice, clean and comfy. you can use the kitchen at any time. a few grocery stores around with very cheap fruits. it's 7 stops by metro from teh town centre. and metro runs only till 23 00. so, if you llike the night life in Rome - you have to consider to get a taxi to get back to the B&B.
The check in process was terrible. we came at 8pm. and even we sent email with our ETA, nobody was there to open the door. we have to call to different phone numbers a few times to get somebody there. as oteh people mentioned - the lady why runs the B7B doesn't speak English at all. it was difficult to communicate. the breakfast - go the nearest caffe.
- bed comfort - kitchen
- some staff didn't speak English
the breakfast was great variety of food for different tastes, the decoration was nice and the bathroom
the hotel is far from downtown and in a totally residential area, the hotel is only 3 rooms , most of the time there are nobody in the reception at all so if you need help you will find no body !!! there is only a lady who comes to clean and do the reception stuff at some certain times then she leaves and she doesn't speak English , so in case you don't speak Italian you will not be able to communicate well with her or get any useful information!!!! and the bed was terrible it gave me a back ache and i woke up tired and this was bad because i had alto of places to visit in the morning and alot of walking and i was tired because of the bad bed
Beautiful rooms (for young-ish people) and clean. Close to the Metro and the neighborhood did not seem threatening.
Could not communicate easily in english with the staff.
Location Clean Friendly Comfortable
Better direction from the metro stop, such as a landmark (bank opposite).
Aracoeli is close to a Metro station, so it is very easy to reach all the famous places. The apartment was well-equipped and the staff was very friendly (though the houselady could speak only Italian). Breakfast was abundant. I will definitely choose this apartment if I go to Rome again.
The fridge in the room made a lot of noise.
The rooms were clean and the B&B is only a short walk from the metro station.
The woman at the reception did not speak any English and expected us to understand her fast Italian. The furnishing and decoration of the room was slightly overdone and kitschy in my personal opinion. Breakfast was nothing special, consisting of mostly packaged pastries and toast. Even though the B&B is close to the metro station, it is still 30 minutes away from the city centre and the train is usually very crowded, resulting in a very uncomfortable journey. It was also quite noisy during the night, since some of the guests thought it would be a great idea to come home drunk at 3am and try to open our door (which was thankfully locked) making an awful lot of noise that was very disruptive. The street noise is already quite prominent and it proved to be quite difficult to get a good nights rest.
I travel a lot and I’ve booked rooms in different hotels. This room was one of the most convenient. The room was provided with all necessary equipment: fridge, bathroom, clean bedroom sheets, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, TV. The breakfast was good enough: milk, juice, fresh water, cornflakes, bread, eggs, yoghurt, cheese, tea or coffee, croissants, cakes, so you can choose what you want. The kitchen is open all 24 hours. Also the supermarket Simply is located 5 minutes on foot from the hotel. There are four rooms in the hotel: blue, green, rose and orange, so the atmosphere was like at home. The housemaid didn’t speak English, but it wasn’t a problem for us and it was great to find out something about the real Italian culture. She was very kind and hospitable. The hotel is situated not far from the metro station Colli Albani, it takes only half an hour to get to the centre of Rome and to the main railway station Roma Termini. I didn’t notice any minuses. Thanks for the great stay in Rome.
Everything was alright! Nice room with new furniture, very comfortable beds, shower. Everywhere is very clean. You can use the kitchen 24 hour, where you can find all that you will need.
You can park on the street, good internet connection, close to metro station
Poor breakfast, noise late in the evening from late coming people, noise in the morning from the neighbours from above(young children), you cannot get good rest, very poor communication with the lady who does not speak English and expects you to understand all she says in Italian, not the most clean bedroom sheets(we have found some hair on it)
Very clean. The kitchen is always available to have a coffe or a cold drink and is self service.
The personal doesn't speak english or other language.
Small b&b with 4 rooms. Very clean, good kitchen with coffee, milk, cookies and fruits. Hotel is located in 5 minutes from metro.
Staff don't know English at all. A bit difficult to find.
Everything about the room was great
The only lady we came in contact with spoke no english. However, she was very friendly and we were able to work around it.
I liked that the owner and cleaning lady are very very nice and helping! They treated us extremely well, like friends, helped us when we needed to print something or leave our luggage, offered us drinks - very good people! The room is very clean, everything seems new. The location is great, on the main line of the metro, very close to all objectives - 20 min metro ride.
We stayed in the Orange room, the room was clean, modern furnished, spacious enough. The bathroom was clean, towels changed every 3 days.Breakfast is taken in the kitchen where you prepared your own meal (eggs, cheese, milk, juice, coffee capsules, butter, bread, jam, pastries, yoghurt).
The female staff really don't speak English at all, not even common words. It is close to metro station, about 5 minutes, but quite far from the Center.
Not far away from metro station, very good value. Staff speak italian but it was quite easy to communicate at least basic things. Common kitchen, food good enough.
Clean room, nice staff, close to metro.
You can hear all noise from the neighboring room.
This is a good place to stay if you want some confort and still keep your budget. The place has everything you need
It's near the subway, but it's not on the city center. Depending on the plans, location my not be the best. The only negative point for me was the fact that the woman responsible for the B&B made a lot of noise around 9 AM (but she was a great person). The fact that she only speaks italian might be a little problem.
Nice room and equipment. Nice breakfast .
The staff knows too little English, especially the female staff who knows zero English.
The room is big and clean. The kitchen is well facilitated and abundent food and snacks.
The location is difficult to find and the staff cannot speak english.
friendly, clean, well-located, we received additional things for breakfast
no English-speaking receptionist.
I've visited Rome many times and slept in different hotels. But Aracoeli is really the best. Modern and clean place with very nice staff.
The hotel is a fair value for the money. The breakfast were run of the mill prepackaged "ever-fresh" stuff. The coffee was good though. We gave the comfort low rating since we were awoken early in the morning by very loud thumping that went on and on for half an hour. That pretty much ruined the morning.
About 300 meters to subway station, it is really easy to reach the center of Rome from these apartments. Don't waste money for parcheggio (like 15-20 EUR per night), parking on the street is free and nothing happened to our car, it can just take some time until you find unused spot.
Although the owner knew, when we will arrive, he wasn't there and it was really painful to finally get keys from our room.
