In a 15th-century building in the San Frediano district of Florence, the Casa per Ferie Santo Nome di Gesú has simple rooms. A sweet buffet breakfast is served daily.
Score from 341 reviews Very good
This place is great is an old apt but everything works just fine.. location is supreme, you can walk to every famous place downtown florence. You can pay with credit card, ther is a parking place 1 block away
Parking in 20 euros per day (completely understandable cause is downtown) Is not easy to find, you gotta be really smart to find the place and read the small letters.
Positives - Loved the location - just off centre, 10 min walk to the ponte vecchio. Seemed more local and as we arrived by train was a quick walk from the station. Also the eateries in the area were slightly cheaper than closer to the ild city. Rooms were spacious, clean, own bathroom and configured exactly as needed. Wifi very good. Ladies running Aramis very good. We left our luggage there for the whole of the last day. Would certainly recommend as a good value accommodation in Florence .
Negatives - not much but worth being aware of - The accommodation is 1 floor up. I have read on previous reviews and replies that use of the lift was a problem as it was not available to visitors. It was interesting to note that there was some surprise that we arrived on holiday with luggage. It was fine for us to carry up and in the end only 1 floor but this will not be the case for everyone. Also to note is although this is a bed and breakfast, breakfast is NOT included in the quoted price it is and extra 6euros per person. There was also a kettle and tea etc in only 1 of 2 rooms with a variety of cups by day. Again this was not a problem for us but maybe to others.
Aramis B&B is an easy walk from Santa Maria Novella Station. Unfortunately we got there after reception had closed however Christina had left a note on the front door with instructions on how to contact her to obtain entry. Our room was very comfortable & clean. Our bathroom across the hall was spotless!!!! The water pressure fantastic. The next morning we met Charity who was very welcoming & helpful. The B&B is in an ideal location to the main sights, restaurants, markets. We just walked everywhere.
Unfortunately the lift is not in operation. Thankfully the B&B is on the 1st floor. Also the bar next door is a very popular with the younger generation so if you are a light sleeper you may not like a room facing the street. We were so tired after full days of sightseeing that it did not bother us.
great location, clean room with clean bathroom, nice price.
our room is far from lobby so wifi is very weak.
The hotel is near the railways station Santa Maria Novella, on a main street but the room is not noisy. The owner is very kind and responsive. My husband has problems with walking and she gave us to use the key to the private elevator. The room and the bathroom are very clean. On a walk distance is historic center of the Florence. There is a big supermarket at the beginning of the street and next to the hotel there is a pretty Cafe where you can drink your cappuccino every morning.
The room is large, clean and renovated. The staff were very friendly.
Somewhat of a walk from the heart of the old city.
The location is so nice that we could get everything we want around this hotel. Also, the staffs are very helpful. We'd like to stay there again. Thanks.
All the lights in our bathroom did not work during the first night.
Staff very helpful booked tours & helped with directions. Very clean & comfortable rooms & bathrooms. Easy to walk to all monuments or take public transport. Directions to walk from station dead on. Would definitely stay again great value for money.
Great location close to station. Really clean and quiet room even though on main road. No problem with separate bathroom.Private and opposite bedroom door across corridor. Marissa was really helpful and welcoming. Would certainly stay again. Thank you.
Nothing! As said above separate bathroom not a problem and gave a bigger bedroom and bathroom unlike in some places where bathroom squeezed in making it cramped.
Perfect Location Cozy Clean Welcoming PERFECT will never stay anywhere else
Clean, big bathroom, relatively quiet though in the center, friendly host
Live in Aramis likes living at home.
The hotel was very clean and the beds had nice crisp white sheets. It was very convenient for the railway station, less than 10 minutes' walk. Marisa kindly allowed us to leave our bigger bags at the hotel for 6 days while we travelled to the Amalfi Coast. It was good value for money.
there was no elevator so it qas difficult with the luggage
Great location near Duomo Clean, spacious rooms Clean bathrooms Great value for the money
Friendly staff and great room!
Garage for extra 20€ across the street (not easy to park for a better price in Firenze) Good Value for the money Own Large Bathroom
Staff very friendly. Good location. Excellent wifi
Difficult to find
Proximity to the shops, duomos and food
I hád a Great time there the staff is só kind we really thank ful of there kindness
Marisa was very nice, helpful and very warm. The directions she sent me to get to the hotel were spot on I didn't need to ask for directions anymore. The place was cozy and near the train station.
Faulty front door was kind of hard to open but I'm jist nit picking as everything was superb.
My go-to place in Florence. Very short walk from the train station, and not very far from all the attractions either. Very nice staff. Rooms are excellent and the bathroom was one of the nicest I have seen. And prices are excellent.
The wifi in the room was bad. But we spend most our time outside anyways.
Everything is really over my expectation. It is under estimated with B&B entitled; however, it should be called a hostel or even a family hotel because it totally fulfill the requirement. The host is friendly and helpful.
Another side should be pointed out that it was a shame not seeing the host. It's not a big problem because things are well prepared, but I think at least the host should send an email in advance to let guests know what codes of the doors are and how rooms are arranged, rather than wait for calls from guests.
The hosts were excellent in every way. They recommended restaurant and travel as well as giving us a bag of apples they had just bought at the market to see us off.
Just book it, you won't regret! Aramis is just brilliant! Having been to Europe for several times, never thought that B&B could be better than a three stars or four stars hotel, but Aramis did really so up to the standard that even better than some three stars hotels. Great location, comfort room, absolutely clean! Most of all, you can feel that you are really being take care of. Thank you very much, Marisa! My husband and I did have a great stay in Aramis!
Wifi in the room was no signal, but it was good in the living room. We were OK with that as we were arranged in a quiet room that we have requested.
