Nice Location, comfort, design! No staff at the reception!! almost at the room behind !!! was boring to wait everytime i want to ask, or need service! Important to smile to your visitors, however they are! and give so maney informations about the hotels services breakfast, internet, fitness.etc so we as guests feel that we are welcome! I would like to recommend the hotel to other travellers, but you need much better service!

The location. You can't beat the views from the sun deck, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. the gym was also perfect sized for a quick trip My room over looked rather tatty/council flats, so for the money I would have expected a better view (or a plain wall would have been better) Breakfast could be better, needs more variety, and fresh juices and coffee versus from a machine

I liked very much the room design, a lot of mirrors inside the room, design color and construction of the hotel overall! + balcony with the sea view :) Seating on the balcony is very easy to see your neighbors because the walls on the balcony do not hermetically separate from another balcony.

The hotel is easy to find, is situated 2 minutes walk from the sea-front passage and boat marina with restaurants. There is a good parking for guests only. The staff is very friendly. In winter it is cold in the bathroom and it has to be warmed up by the air from the room. There was some sand (or similar?) on the bed sheet.

Very little. It was across from the beach. Where do I start? We selected the hotel from your website and their website. It looked very attractive. We were staying one night before flying home from the airport at Rome. It mentions that the hotel is near the airport. I called the hotel before and was assured that they were a good choice because of their location and that the taxi fare would be around 40 Euros similar to the fare from Rome to the airport. The taxi fare was 70 Euro which was fairly run up on the meter and the taxi that the hotel arranged for us to get us to the airport the next morning was another 35 Euros. We could have stayed at the airport Hilton for considerably less cost and hassle. We felt we were intentionally mislead by the hotel staff about the transportation cost to get us to the hotel on the off season. Our cabbie from Rome, who was excellent and very apologetic about the situation, warned us to say along the main street for safety. We did not feel safe in the area. The room was unbelievably small with a very stained carpet. The sliding door windows were frosted so you couldn't see out and with a first floor room we didn't feel safe leaving the door open. The Aran Blu website mentioned that all rooms had a balcony with a view - our view was of the backyards of large tenement style apartment buildings including garbage containers and laundry hanging from their balconies. All together very disappointing - definitely the low point of a three week trip and not a good feeling to end on.

I have stayed in this hotel many times on business, it clean, good value in the winter but expensive in the summer. Internet is cable in thd room and wifi in the lobby but 2 euro an hour is excessive. A four star hotel should have wifi throughout these days especially if they want to charge for it! It should be free.....

The Location of the Hotel was fantastic....close to the buses and train, shopping, amazing restaurants and the view, spectacular. The continental breakfast was really great with a huge assortment of things. The carpet could have been replaced, but the rest of the room was clean and modern. The restaurant staff were not friendly but the front reception staff were wonderful.

Nice hotel. Decor modern, good. Hotel beside beach. Staff courteous. Nice hotel but few services available in mid-September, when we stayed there (2011). For example, no restaurant (closed) even though this is not stated on any booking form or hotel literature that we saw before booking. Also, very hard to get even a coffee in the hotel (though desk clerk offered to 'turn on the coffee machine' as a favour to us). Room rate is too high for a hotel that is operating on skeleton services (essentially 'room only'). We feel to some degree cheated as we could have stayed in another hotel with more services - at a lower rate, though not quite as conveniently located. We booked Aran Blu primarily because it is advertised as having a restaurant, and second being close to beach. This hotel - and hotels in general - need to be more up-front about what is offered and not offered. Often, by the time a guest arrives, it is too late to change to an alternative hotel.

The view of the ocean, although only half the rooms have that view; the other ones face apartment buildings. In their website they say they have a shuttle service. This is not true!! And the staff at the hotel would not accept a complain about it. I had to get taxis from the airport to the hotel and back which were very expensive!!! Although I tried to get a room facing the beach/ocean, I got a room facing an apartment with a guy walking almost naked and smoking all the time (not a very nice view).

Nice hotel, as such. Friendly check-in and check-out, restaurant staff quite friendly. Airco in room did not work, couldn't quite work out whether this was 'at all' or 'sufficiently', but at times it was cooler outside, than inside the room. Rooms are fairly small, but you're not staying so you can stay in your room. The beach was supposed to have been a plus, but as it turned out it was quite filthy: lots of poo, smell of urine and lots of garbage littered the beach. We were rather hoping this would have improved, since our stay in 2006, as the area was under development then. That was not the case. There was still an abundance of glass on the streets where cars had ben broken into, so park your car in the garage (foc). In all: too expensive (133 Euro a night, b/fast included).

Some of the staff was very helpful; others...... Almost nothing corresponded to their advertising claims. There was no 5th floor restaurant, only the breakfast room. There was no room service. The bed was hard and uncomfortable -- unworthy of a two-star hotel (let alone a self-proclaimed 4 star one). The room was noisy, with no sound-proofing. We could go on, but......

The staff wee friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine by Italian standards with good coffee. Nice bathroom It was convenient for the marina where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. Opposite the beach with a great prom Although the bed was really large and the room had a big balcony. There was too little remaining space in the room and the storage space for clothes was totally inadequate. Two small drawers and a very small wardrobe with one rail from front to back which was no good for two people's clothes for 4 days. No room to open out suitcases. It was very modern and minimalist but more form than function! Would recommend only for one night before a flight

The hotel is modern and very well equiped. The complimentary breakfast was above average. It is right in front of the ocean and 50 meters from the harbor walk, which has many shops and restaurants.

The balcony with view over the sea Lousy Internet connection. Hotel stuck out away from just about anything: no bars, restaurants, pizzerias, or shops. All around are just apartment blocks falling apart and all in bad need of renovation and serious upgrades.
