Barceló Aran Blu Hotel  

Kävimme aamiaisella 6 aamuna, mutta vasta pois lähdettyääme huomasimme, että meitä oli laskutettu 8 sta aamupalasta.

Sijanti hyvä ja aamiainen ihan kohtuullinen. Henkilökunta vastaanotossa puhui hyvin englantia. Ilmainen kuljetus lentokentälle.

Sähköongelmia koko ajan, kerran jäimme hissiin.

Too upset about not being able to eat in the hotel after arriving tired and no where locally except a Mcdonalds which I had no intention of going into, to actually like the hotel.

The restaurant was not open as it should have been, and it was much too far from the town and railway station. A lift wasn't working.

Location, sea front and marina. 30 mins from Rome on train.

I know it wasn't quite in season, (end of May), but breakfast was lacking in choice.

Decent rooms. Only worth staying here if you have to be in Lido de Ostia but close to the airport and cheaper than airport hotels.

Wet bathroom, no wifi in rooms, silly plastic curtains in room, no assistance offered with luggage.

The area was badly in need of renovation. Everything seems poor.

Destination of the hotel is too far from the town main beach, if you travel without car. After the rain it's impossible to reach hotel by the pavement because of bad canalization work

Staff was excellent, the room with the sea view simply amazing and very comfortable bed :)

There was no Internet access in the rooms. It's a pity, young couples plan many things through the IT. And the room card didn't work during our whole stay - I always had to go to the reception

I would love to try it out in summer, sea looks fantastic. In winter its really peaceful. Very helpul and friendly staff !!! Young hotel staff not old people - brilliant !!!

No dinner or room service was available in the evening. After a long- haul flight, we didn't feel like heading out of the hotel.

I liked the location which is very close to the river side and if you want to go to the center, it's just 5 minutes away and 2 stops to Astoria station by tram. It's very calm, very elegant and people are very helpful and nice.

I didn't like their breakfast as they don't have much choices to take and the 4 days i stayed in, the croissant & brioches were not fresh. They change towels but they don't offer shampoos every day in the shower.

Loved the views and the rooms they were absolutely gorgeous - surrounding beaches were fair - suited more to the younger brigade - took some great photos from verandah area

Little flying insects were a pest, but easily kept out of the rooms - resteraunt closed for the season at the end of October - others still available, however they also were closing at the end of November

We have staid already several times in this hotel which is close to the Rome airport, therefore excellent location to get to the airport without traffic jams, especially when leaving in the morning. Beside that the hotel is nicely located beside the sea and you can stroll along the beach for many kilometers. It would be also good to go to downtown Rome with a train. We had a room with a sea view. The room was good. Breakfast is good as well, however, there could be a nicer choice of bread, also dark bread.

The Ethernet connection did not work, and the wlan only works in the public hotel areas, which is a slight disadvantage. Price is sligthly on the high side.

the staff checked us in early after we had travelled for over 24 hours. we slept for 4 hours and still had the day to explore the beach

Location is very good and buses are easy to find, and close to the Hotel. Cleanliness of the room and the modern design of furniture is a remarkable point. It is a new beach hotel, for those who like the seaside, enjoying modern structures.

Breakfast was not included in the daily rate, contrarily to most of the hotels in Italy.

It was convenient to the Rome Airport and we were able to stay seaside for one more night before our trip home.

I would not stay in this area of the coast for any other reason than it was close to the Fiumicino airport in Rome. The beach was trashy and surrounding area did not feel safe.

Closeness to Fuimicino airport, restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Crisp, clean, air conditioned rooms.

Clean, modern design. Really nice bathroom and good use of space in bed and bath -- not too small, but no space wasted. Good value.

Wireless Internet only available in lobby, and difficult to use. I never was able to log on. No shuttle to airport available, though hotel is very close to Fiumicino. Had to get overpriced taxi that started charging from the point it departed from, so that I already owed 13 euro by the time I got in the car. Location is strange ... Far from restaurants and bars on the other side of Lido di Ostia. Again, some kind of shuttle would be useful.

Friendly and attentive staff. Great restaurant. I have already separatively expressed my pleasure and pleasant experience in dining at your restaurant

The staff is really nice, reactive and very dedicated to every need.

The WIFI is only accessible in the main hall, there is no connection at all in the rooms. Quite uncomfortable when you need to keep an eye on your professional activity (yes, even during holidays).

Modern stylish hotel very close to Ostia Marina with its shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Roberto. Ate in one nihght and really enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast was to the requiired and expected standard.
