everything was v.good , room was clean , breakfast excellent ,staff were helpful kind understanding

The room was very big and had a nice design, with lights on the ceiling, small leather couch, desk, armchair etc. The bathroom was modern and large. We also had a huge terrace.

The bathroom had a transparent glass door. The hotel location is pretty far from the old city center. Breakfast was the same every day.

The price was good, good breakfast but not inclouded in the price, buss connection was OK, 7 km to the city. Welcomes drink was good.

Air conditioning did not worked as it should and was annoying so the room was cold. TV cost money too. Bad isolation (noise) he gym was very little and no swiming pool.

The reception staff at Barcelo Aran Mantegna was outstanding! Extremely friendly and most importantly also competent and helpfull. We got some great tips and all my questions got and wishes got solved immediately. Rooms are really nice, bright and with great bathroom amenities. Breakfast buffet was great - plenty of fresh fruits, cheese, salami and warm things... Hotel is a bit outside the citycenter - but that was the reason for me to book it - as there was silence around - there is a metro station just a few minutes away from the hotel.

Everything was ok, except one thing (see the other comment box)

I didn't like the transparency of the bathroom and the fact that everybody in the room could admired my intimate creation moments of lovely and perfumed sunny Italian mornings!!!

The effort from staff to accomodate my requests; the large and comfortable rooms.

No wifi in the rooms. It is ridiculous to pay for wifi and have to sit in the lobby to use it. (only one hour per day is free)

The room was so big with extra lounge and chair and then separately the change area and then the beautiful bath/shower and heated towel rail. All perfect for a traveller needing to do a little washing. All beautiful and very well set out. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Unfortunately the area the hotel was in is a bit of a way out of the main part of Rome althought a bus could be caught. There was a store for supplies but nothing too much more nearby.

The hotel is rather new, overall clean (except the wall carpeting in the room, which is not a great decoration choice to start with) and the price is decent, including breakfast

The location is ok only if you have reasons to stay in that area (like we had), otherwise is non central, has no views or other attractions (shopping etc). The rooms can be very far from the central (and only) 4 lifts, you may end up pulling your trolley for 200 m of corridors. The room layout, half of the bathroom open onto the room and facing the hangers is so and so, but the hangers themselves are a real shame! They are the type with a straight piece of metal instead of a hook (I guess a choice of when someone liked to steal them..., But today?) and there is not a chance you can hang even a light shirt to them without the steel piece sliding free through its (plastic broken) support: result is that you can't store your garment, and this is the third room I have stayed there, and they are all like this. I will never go again unless they advertise to have replaced the hangers

the design and comfort of the room which we had. We arrived earlier than check in time,so we were given a suite... Luxury!! The suite had a guest loo & a lounge!!

location- really far from the city or anything. A bus ride to the city takes about 35minutes and then it's not exactly to the city centre.

A high standard! My ROOM 448 is excellent! Great value for money, better than 5* in center of ROME! But you must have a autobus pass! Congratulations to the Manager and the Staff!

The rooms were beautiful! The bathroom was gorgeous! The breakfast was excellent! It was great value for the money and the overall experience was excellent. Public transport was easily available. Just a nice modern hotel.

Not a big deal but the room wasn't cleaned and had to ask for fresh towels, but they were very prompt with responding.

Nice service. We asked to change room and the reception reacted quickly. The cleaners make the bed extremely tidy everyday! Although far from the old Rome, there're several bus lines to the down town (such as Plaza Venizia, Bernini). Locating at the local residents area let me have a close touch of Romer's life style~lol

Five star hotel with 3 star price. Very nice room and facility. The breakfast is also good. The bathroom is clean and everything is just like five star plus hotel.

Very very poor location. Located in living distict. Hard to connect with public transport. Only route 670 and 671 connected to metro station which costs 1 hour to wait for. The metro is far from the hotel. If you plan to solo travel. That would always costs you more than one hour to centre of rome and longer if back.

Very modern new and clean rooms and public areas.

The IT system failed on check out in the morning. I returned in the evening to collect my luggage and tried to obtain an invoice but the system failed again. I do not know whether this is staff or system error. I still do not have an invoice. The staff are very helpful but not very efficient, I suggest a little more training. Although the staff showed me how to get to the local transport, it would be better if it could be displayed either at reception or in the rooms.

The Aran Mantegna is a very nice, modern hotel, exceptionally clean and smart, with very friendly staff. The lighting in the rooms is very innovative.

It's a pity it is not closer to where the conference was (Congressi?), or to the city centre.

e' vergognoso che hotel moderni nn abbiano wi fi in camera e che per di piu dopo 1 ora di collegamento via cavo si debba pagare come extra!! inaccettabile nel 2013 a Roma!!!
