Ara Pacis

Room was clean, comfortable, and had quaint European style. The location was great. Public transportation directly in front of the hotel.

Hotel needs to do a little maintenance to peeling wallpaper.

Central location to most tourist area. Reasonable breakfast. Sky satellite TV. Free WIFI.

Hotel is dimly lighted. Room is uncomfortable and dingy with wall paper peeling and held on by sellotape on several places. Shower tray chipped and shower curtain mouldy. Sink has plug missing. Side table lamp switch held on by sellotope. It does not deserve a 3 star rating. Will not recommend it at all.

The staff welcomed us and attend to our needs. They were very nice and we enjoyed staying at the nice clean rooms. Location was a plus... Walking distance to the Vatican and everywhere else. We felt safe at the hotel. Excellent hotel and excellent service.

Location! It was perfect!

However the hotel staff were very grumpy and everything looked very old. They were restoring the hotel, so the constructionworkers woke us up every day at 7 am

The breakfast

The staff was very rude and we changed room three times under three nights. We booked a double room and received first a small and ugly room with very small bathroom. We complained received a better room, but with a broken AC, in Rome under summer it is very hot and they lied and told us to wait 2 hours and the AC should take down the temperature in the room, but not. So we changed room again and the last room was ok, but still a very small bathroom. I do not recommend this hotel

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location to several attractions in Rome. Great breakfast, although no fruit.

Shower wasn't closed in, water covered the entire floor when the shower was used. Very thin walls - could here people going up and down halls all night.

I was charged extra because, while I originally informed them of my email address, I had requested a COT instead of an extra bed in my original bookings. Choice of form was crib or cot. Since, I was traveling with older children--I marked cot. Staff member was a bit arrogant regarding this mix-up--said he had no way to contact me. Charged an extra 15 Euros per day.

Very central for all tourist attractions. Vatican City was 15 min walk.

The hotel definately needs to be updated. The wallpaper was torn and hanging off and in some places stuck on with sellotape!!! Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities. Also the lighting was very dim in the rooms.

La posizione e la cortesia

Camera un pò troppo rumoroso (finestre doppi vetri aiuterebbero..) e mancanza di un parcheggio "certo" anche in caso di sovraffollamento della città

appena arrivati in camera si sente puzza di fogna il bagno non ha le finestre, il controsoffitto del bagno lascia intravedere lo sporco che c'è al di sopra ci sono perdite di acqua che puntualmente abbiamo riferito al personale ma con aria molto distaccata e scortese ci ha quasi accusato " allora si è bagnata la moquete" e comunque la perdita d'acqua non è stata riparata e neanchè ci è stata proposta un'altra camera per concludere in quella camera la carta da parati era tutta staccata, dimenticavo la pulizia del davanzale della finestra sia interno che esterno è inesistente e c'è poca luce.

Les sanitaires étaient très dégradés, pas de chasse d'eau, impossibilité de prendre un bain (le bouchon n'était pas adapté) , pas de fixation pour la douche. Pas d'isolation sonore pour les fenêtres qui donnent sur la rue
