Hotel Arcangelo is in a quiet location just a few streets behind Castel Sant’Angelo. Enjoy aperitifs on the roof garden and take in great views of nearby Saint Peter’s Cathedral. Arcangelo’s completely restored building is decorated in an Art Nouveau style. Common areas are elegant and relaxing and rooms all come with a 22 or 24-inch LCD digital TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby. In the residential area close by Hotel Arcangelo you will find great shopping streets and numerous cafés and restaurants. The Vatican is a 10-minute walk away, as is Piazza Navona, across the river. Relax in the reading area or the bar on the roof garden. In the morning enjoy a rich sweet and savory buffet breakfast served in the breakfast room or right to your room. Hotel Arcangelo can arrange airport and station transportation services upon request. It's location close to the Vatican and other parts of Rome can either be walked from here if you are reasonably fit or public transport which is near by. The hotel is in a quiet street away from the bussle of Rome so a good nights sleep. The roof terrace has a great view of the dome of St Peters especially at night. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was self service with a good choice. Note: if you come from Fiumicino airport you can take the shuttle coach to the Piazza Cavour which is five minutes away from the hotel at a cost of 8 euro per person including luggage. The shuttle bus is called ' sit' its on the web. It leaves from the outside of terminal 3 at the airport. The staff at the desk are very straight faced and only really help you with advice if pushed which is a shame. That said it would not put me off staying at this hotel again.

Very helpful regarding directions etc; Very helpful in answering any questions we would have;always someone a the desk no matter what time it was; always pleasent. The only suggestion would to be to use the breakfast facility for people to gather throughout the day for tea or coffee. As only one person's opinion...found mattress too hard.

We chose this hotel mostly because we were travelling by motorcycle and they have free secure parking which was a great help as it can cost 30 euro/day to park in Rome. The room was clean & comfortable and in a great location, which was quiet at night. The shower and bath were the worst on our 3 week trip. Shower was either freezing or boiling, and the bath took ages to fill. Also the wi-fi only worked near reception.

The proximity for the key places in Rome and easy access to Metro and shopping Area. Individual Rooms are really small, even that they are well designed to increase comodity. There's no bar service.

All the breakfast you can eat to set you up for the day before heading out and a lovely rooftop terrace with a view of the Basilica dome to relax on in the evening, where you can chill out with a bottle of wine.

It was a perfect location for exploring the city and the rooms were clean and comfortable the staff were helpful and accommodating The facilities of a bar would be good so that you could relax on the roof terrace either before or after dinner as it is a great terrace the lift - i am claustrophobic

Location, cleanliness, roof top sitting area, breakfast, friendly, good value. Did not use it much but the TV reception was not good and the internet service was sporadic and location dependent.

The location of the hotel is excellent. In particular, Gino one of the Managers was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. The bedroom was a good size and it was very quiet. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. The bed was a little on the hard side and the shower was handheld over the bath but both did not detract from our stay.

The staff was very helpful , particularly Gino who spoke good french and catered to all our needs perfectly . We enjoyed the terrasse although it was a little chilly in mars, the view was enjoyable as expected . The place is quiet . The decoration of the room was minimal and the brown colour not very enticing. Breakfast offered a wide range of pastries ,but they were not very tasty and for some of them did not look fresh; The Fruit juice from the machine was horrendous , however there was the option of fresh orange juice which we relished. I would have preferred to have fresh fruit served not fruits from cans .

The Hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the location was unbelievable. .... I really don't have anything negative to say... I was a little disappointed with the wireless internet that was not working very well in the rooms... You had to go downstairs to the lobby area or dinning room area to get good reception.

I really enjoyed my stay in Arcangelo, the hotel is in a very good location & in a quite neighborhood, you can easily walk to any major attraction in Rome (10 min to Vatican Museum, 15 min to Navona Square), the rooms are spotless clean with the most amazing white towels & hotel staff is very helpful.

Alfonso at the front desk was great. Great location. Air conditioning was turned off first night. No hot water in the morning. The carpeting throughout the hotel needs a cleaning. Nice to have rooftop sitting area. Breakfast was good choices but Eggs were cold at 9:00am and were not served before 7:30am

The roof top terrace with its view of St. Peter's Basilica was amazing. We truly enjoyed wine on the terrace in the evening. Did not find the staff overly friendly they were definitely helpful and courteous but seemed quite stern. This might just be how people are in Rome though as we encountered this lack of friendliness multiple times over our 4 days there.
