Staff not very friendly or helpful although they did keep luggage on leaving day - functional not engaging
Loved the location, nice basic breakfast, comfy room, clean....all the important stuff.
No elevator, but I know this is not uncommon for many of the older buildings.
The stairs. A small lift would be much appreciated.
Hallways feel like a hospital. Rooms are ugly. Towels are like thin table cloths. Location is bad. Beds hard.
The location of place was good. It was close to the metro station and a few bus stops. The sights were very close to walking distant. It's loud at night and morning being next to the metro
The breakfast was terrible. They give you a specific time for your floor to eat which they don't tell you. The air conditioning didn't work so the window was open which was fine, but it's loud outside. The staff is very loud in the morning. The doors have spring loaded hinges, but they slam the doors every day when they start at 530.
Perfect location for tourist sights, shopping, nightlife in Trastevere, but in a quiet street. Lovely 19th Century building. Air conditioning.
Reception staff not very welcoming. No lift!
Wonderful, central location. Helpful staff. And my room even had a private balcony!
The breakfast could be a bit more substantial. Also, the air conditioning went out the first night, which made it rather hot.
Great location if you want to stay near the Jewish restaurants or the old Roman city.
The air conditioning was inadequate.
Location was excellent
Noise from the streets (but it couldn't be helped ... not like you can make an ambulance not run it's sirens) ... it's more of a trait of Rome it self than the hotel but at times it annoyed a bit ...
The staff was helpful. comfortable room, nice breadkfast
You must have someone to help carry the bags up the long staircase. Even for pay
Interesting and charming location, plenty of character (Old Jewish Ghetto), excellent for all the major sites, shopping, dining and transport, all within easy reach. Via Arenula and Largo Argentina conveniently situated close by for buying essentials. Basic but clean, comfortable and and adequate rooms.
No lift, not good if your room is on the 4th floor for carrying luggage. Breakfast room was tiny meaning that you are required to book a time for your breakfast each day, if you attend late, then no breakfast, which is very basic, not much choice but adequate nonetheless. Shower Water pressure was abysmal. Large wardrobe sliding doors faulty, had to fix them myself several times, quite dangerous, especially for elderly person as they became dislodged whilst in use. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Great location and value for money. Staff helpful and efficient. I'll be back!
Nice staff. Good and clean room. Nice location.
I liked that it was so centrally located for evening strolls and all the main sights.
Their was no elevator and I could hear everyone and their suitcases climbing up the stairs all night. Definitely ask for a room away from the staircase!
Location Cleaning staff good Safe place
Service (staff) Breakfast room far too little, staff in breakfast facility was overwhelmed all the time; I had the feeling to serve the staff not the other way around Too noisy
Friendly staff and good location
Was very basic accommodation. Nothing flash.
Nice, clean room. Good breakfast.
Area of city was a little noisy, AC didn't work, on 4th floor and no elevator. Not near a subway stop.
The location and the room.
Lack of lift.
The location was great, room was a great size and free wifi.
The bathroom was moldy which I'm highly allergic too
Location, location, location! This hotel is recommendable. Though not very flashy and with very! small bathroom it is a perfect stay for a holiday in Rome. Situated close to everything, we never had to use public transport. Breakfast is, by italian standard, good. Bread, croissant, juice, tea, coffee, fruits, youghurt, 3 cheeses, various meatspread, crackers and cakes. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful reception.
Small bathroom, but what can you expect from a 2 star hotel
No elevator - and room in 5 th floor, hard beds, bad breakfast. No bar.
Location couldn't be better!!!! Value for money and staff were excellent.
Bed was two singles pushed together would have been nice to have had a double.
Location was really good . Room was clean and desk staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a bit poor and breakfast staff a little rude ! Stairs definitely an issue if you've walked all day. Rooms could do with tea making facility.
Very basic facilities. No elevator.
