Hotel Arianna  

I would like to visit it again!!! They are very nice and kindly. We are from Taiwan!

Friendly staff (owners, maybe) and the nice dog. The room is comfortable (but the floor is rather cold so do not forget slippers :-) "Like at home" atmosphere. Not far from the railway station and city center. Clean room and bathroom.

Difficult system of switching on the TV and air-conditioner. There was no cheese for the breakfast.

It was the best combination of price and quality I've even seen in Italy. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, breakfast tasty. Basically the service we got exceeded our expectations and everything was very reasonably priced. I wish luck to the owners and the hotel and will definitely stay again when we are in Florence.

Nice comfortable room and very helpful staff. Made good recommendations for walking tour and where to eat.

We had room with private bathroom in the koridor and it was not enough comfortable. There are carpet everywhere and if you have allergic (on dust) it could be problem for you.

A very nice family with a lovely dog, although it isn't like a luxury hotel. Very friendly they are, and a good place to live in:D

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and it had a good location, about a 15 minute walk into town. I would definitely stay here again!

location is relatively near the train station, which is my first criteria This is a family owned hotel, the couple is very nice, even allowed us to bring some breakfast as we are leaving the hotel very early morning. Hope to see you again!

I chose hotel Arianna the location. The Hotel is situated in a street a 5 minute walk from the station and 10 minutes from the dome - just perfect. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and plain, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast is typical italian, pastry and fruits. The street around the corner can be noisy. This is not the hotels fault, but I recommmend to bring ear plugs if you have trouble sleeping to the sound of cars. I highly enjoyed my time in Hotel Arianna and would definitely book it again.

* just 10mins away from central train station, 2 streets away from restaurants. Great! * the shower was great! So much better than my previous stay, theres nothing better than a good shower and good sleep after a whole day tour. * owners are so nice!!!!!! Helped me with eveything i needed! Carried my luggage up, heated up my food. Room was clean and tidied my clothes every day! Definitely recommend for tavellers great value! For sure will go back!

Maybe a lift is needed, if not then at least a ramp to move the luggage up and down.. I have a big suitcase lucky the owner carried up for me. Other than this was all good!

The hotel is very near from the train station, and it is very comfortable. We were very well received by the staff, that were very kind to us. We felt as we were at home, with the family. We got very good orientation from the manager about how to use our day the best, in order to enjoy as many attractions as possible, due to our limited time there (one and a half days). So our trip was very well succeeded.

Convenience and friendly staff

Did not have a lift so had to carry heavy bags on stairs 3 levels.

nice breakfast which was quite diverse for Italy, friendly staff, location near the train station which suit us perfectly. OK for a very short stay.

The room smelled damp and mildewy when we first arrived, though the room appeared clean. It was clear that everything was about 100 years old, including the mattresses which were awful!!

Very friendly staff, very clean rooms, free wifi, location is good, silent street, 5 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the markets. Bathroom was clean and well maintained, if not modern.

Good location, close to station and city downtown. Hotel is simple, but clean and well kept. The staff is really helpful and friendly. We had no problems at all while staying there.

The family who runs this hotel was absolutely lovely. They answered all of my questions, were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the wifi worked, and the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

For the budget conscious. This is a nice place conveniently located near train station in Firenze. Have to walk up a flight or two of stairs, but that was not a problem for us. Owners are very friendly and helpful. They were very concerned and helpful when one in my party took ill for a day. It ain't the Ritz, but it is clean and well kept up. Would stay again.

What I liked most about Hotel Arianna is that it is a family business. The whole family made me feel at home and part of their family. Hotel Arianna is also 5 minutes away from Fortezza da Basso, where the congress I was attending took place. At the same time Hotel Arianna is 10 minutes away from Santa Maria Novella, Florence's train station.

What I didn't like about Hotel Arianna is that it doesn't have an elevator.
