comfortable and clean room, good breakfast, good location (about 20 minutes walk from the main attractions)
The hotel is worth for the price and place. You need 15 minutes of walking to get to the city center. Bus station to city center is 2-3 minutes away.
Strange noise of washing machine during all nights. Small parking place.
Everything was great, staff, location, value for money
fantastic location. Quaint hotel great staff with good chi!!!!
The price and the air conditioning!!
No gluten free options at breakfast
Close to center within walking distance. Breakfast.
Breakfast. Clean bedding and great service.
The hotel is located very well, not far from the train station and from the centre. Connection to internet is excellent. Hotel offers basic services and it is more suitable for young travelers.
Location was good. Breakfast was ok. Big room.
Staff was not very friendly. No coffee or tea maker in room. Bed was not comfortable and pillow was flat.
Easy walk from Metro Station, great breakfast
Hotel information said it was air conditioned. Problem is the air conditioning is not turned on until June 1st. It was 85 Degrees both days we were there. Had to sleep with windows open and mosquitos.
Building has lots of charm. Convenient garden where you can unwind. Extremely friendly staff. Big rooms. By italian standards, above average breakfast. Quiet and safe neighbourhood, very close to Teatro Comunale, close to Santa Maria Novella, a short walk from historic centre. Have been there before and will keep returning.
Stayed 4 nights. Sheets could have been changed at least once during the stay.
es un palacio,transformado en hotel.
sin quejas. recibimos más de lo esperado.
The rooms had very modest accommondations. Not really a like but a fact.
The bathroom was extremely small and when you showered water ran on the floor.
Location and stuff
Smelly rooms Worst basic breakfast I ,ve ever seen. Dirty cups Dishes
Parking onsite was excellent. Room was clean. Front desk was helpful. Location away from main attraction area, quiet.
Single room was cramped. Steps down to go into room, up to bathroom: not suitable for older traveler. Shower consisted of curtain and sprayer in front of toilet. Breakfast was just plain bad.
Spacious and clean room. Great location and nice staff. I like the garden in the hotel. Strongly recommend!
The room is big. The neighborhood is quite silent. The hotel is close to the train station.
Compared to others, this hotel is not very close to the center. You'll always have to walk at least 1,5 Km to get to most places. The bathroom is small and has a weird bathtub. It would get all wet after a bath. The breakfast is just ok, better to get a nice coffee outside. One of the reception guys was not very friendly or helpful.
Cleaning in the rooms was good.
Upon arrival we have spent around 20 minutes trying to find an appropriate room, cause room "prepared" for us was really cold and damp. Even in one we choose we were unable to stay without heater and still it was a damp one. Central heating wasn't working at all. After one night spent in the hotel, my son started to cough. The whole hotel needs a huge maintenance work to be done. Bathroom is something incredible... curtain in shower hangs on some kind of a chain built-in in a ceiling, toilet is just an unbelievable one... It was devilishly cold in bathroom, despite the heater was switched on all the time. Breakfast is poor, location is inconvenient.
I liked the laid back atmosphere and the friendly staff.
I didn't like my mattress.
Room wasn't clean. Had to shower standing on a towel. Bed extremely uncomfortable and NO HEAT so we froze all night. Rooms not refurbished and old and dirty.
Location was amazing, 10 minutes by walk to city center. Very close to the Arno river in a quiet and elegant neighbourhood. A former embassy, the building is beautiful and decorated with taste. The room was absolutely astounding!
the bathroom was very very small especially if compared with the size of the room.
Breakfast, design of rooms which are huge and well appointed ,the position near the Arno River
Staff not at all welcoming, only just able to help you with your map, needs screens for Mosquitos
