Hotel Ariele    

It was affordable for the one night.

The hotel stated that it have private parking. They do have one, but once it's full, you have to park elsewhere. I have a Honda Accord and they told me my car was too big. The private parking was small too. It can probably hold 4 small cars. It was very noisy during the day and night. You can hear everything outside the streets, and the floor above you. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from anything. I recommend to stay closer to the "action."

Rooms are spacious and staff is friendly. Historical center is walking distance and hotel is close to good restaurants.

The price versus quality is poor, the rooms need a renovation and breakfast is very basic. The price is high for the quality received.

Room is clean and big. Very close to the Florence SMN station. I'll stay in the hotel if I revisit to Florence.

The staff were really wonderful, every single person during every 24 hours was helpful as if this hotel was his/her own property.. Really perfect team! The breakfast buffet was rich, they rooms are cleaned and facilities are always provided any time. Location is wonderful, verry closed to the river and minutes walking to the Firenzi smn termini, closed by the theater.. Wonderful location! I've been to plenty of 5 stars hotels but seeing this hotel rated as 3 stars! So unfair for what they actually give you.

Small with a little of history

Small bathroom with an uncomfortable bathroom and shower.

Good location, classical but comfortable room, high ceiling.

The restaurant which front desk staff recommended was closed. Breakfast hall was very crowded and the dishes were not clean enough.

Location was great , you don't need any transportation to walk around the city

So old building, they have garden which is used as a parking area and 15€ per day, its non sense, Rooms were so old

They had a very nice afternoon snack buffet with drinks. The sitting room was very pleasant to spend time with others. The rooms were comfortable and the decore was relaxing.

We tended to flood the bathroom due to the tub slop of the wall was toward the floor instead of the tub drain. The tub was a bit hard to climb into for short people. The dishes were not always clean of food for breakfast.

Close to the railway station and the River Arno. Good breakfast the information folder in the cosy reading room was very detailed and informative. Plenty of hot water and lovely white towels. A breakfast the staff were helpful and friendly and reception staff were the same after our intital contact

Why with a six night booking we were put on the fourth floor - the lift goes only to the second floor? There were a few mosquitoes, which surprised us as it was December.

The hotel , the location and the size of the rooms are ok , the staff is friendly as well , value for money . There is a good choice for the breakfast as well .

The only remark we have is that it is too cold in the rooms and you can't control the heating by yourself

Nice decore in "old florence" style. Close to old town.

Typical italian building with large windows, beautiful and quiet lounge. Imposing, not talkative receptionists.

Very small bathroom with leaking shower. Some tableware wasn't clean enough.

The hotel was centrally located with easy access to transportation, museums and restaurants. We also appreciated that it was "quiet" at night without a lot of street noise even though it's in a busy city. It had a nice old world feel to it and the bathroom was roomy - not like the little closet-sized baths common in most small hotels.

We only stayed one night so that we'd be in close proximity to the airport for our return home so really can't tell.

Location and parking in the hotel

Bathdroom very small and with a strange bathtub, where I fall and hurt my leg.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean and tidy.

Front desk person was not very helpful and rude, he was more interested in keeping our Passports for a so called 5 minutes so we waited for them then his directions to our room were vague. No elevator to our room, two flights of stairs. The small two level bath in our room was a joke and dangerous when trying to have a shower

This is my second time staying here.. the location is great and the staff is really helpful. I've liked both rooms, and the breakfast is more than sufficient. They do a really nice job here and run a great hotel.

Any older hotel has an issue with a bit of noise.

The breakfast was great, very unitalian which is wonderful.

W bit far from centrel Florence, the heating waa a problem and the room design was antique which means high ceiling and a noisy bed with an old closet a small bathroom.

I gonne to florance for american visa meeting and ariele is quite near to american consulate. Their breakfast is perfect. Rooms are clean and large.

Hotel is too old. All staff is minimum 30 years old.

The room was quiet.

The breakfast was horrible. The coffee machine didn't work. The music was too loud. I parked my car and found it covered in fallen fruit which cost a lot of money to have cleaned.

It's a beautiful hotel in a fab location. Old-style charm, quiet streets which feel safe late at night. Ample breakfast. I met up with Italian friends from Tuscany who were most impressed with the hotel, its location and the cost!

The hotel was in a good position within walking distance to everything. It was a beautiful building with freat atmosphere and very clean. Breakfast was also very good for the price.

The only thing that I was dissatisfied with was the staff that tended the desk. They were totally disinterested in offering any help or answering any questions. It was very disappointing that they were so unhelpful and I would even say rude. It was not the same with the dining room waiters they were very nice.
