good location good breakfast
We got a attic for our four people. It seem to low for us,esp. in bathroom...I have to sit down to take a shower...
Nothing. Awful hotel. We got allocated a room that was part of an attic with no windows! The bathroom had a sloping roof that I could not stand straight in. Break fast was awful with limited section and cramped seating. Staff were unfriendly. The only helpful person was Marco at the reception the first day who really did his best to make our stay better. The lady at the reception the second day was cold and unfriendly. Only stay here for the proximity to the bus and train station.
Need I say more! There wasn't even a kettle in the room! For the price it's not worth it. Thus is at best a B&B
The location. We had a very short walk from bus to hotel; and on checking out to go for our cruise, a lovely short walk too to the people Mover! no fuss - super convenient! Lovely restaurants just below by the canal. The canal was a wonderful sight - not noisy at all, but with enough happenings to offer a splendid Venetian experience of sound, sights and smells! The elevator - tho' small - served its purpose - just be patient! Lovely classical rooms - small but expected. Rooms looked larger in well taken photos on the website - but otherwise well appointed! Luxurious in other respects. Friendly and courteous reception. Lovely classically decorated and bright b'fast room with a delicious b'fast selection!
Just the smallness of our double room. Views were excellent tho. The other triple sharing (which they upgraded gratis to a canal view as well) was a lot nicer!
The location and scenery were perfect and not too far from the cruise port. The front desk manager was very helpful. He told us what we should visit while we were in Venice. It was quite an experience for us. Also he was always happy to see us. We were aways greeted with a smile. The manager even went to the extent to explain to us the best way to get to the port. I thought that was very nice of him. Hats off to him.
The only thing we could not appreciate was the size of the elevators. Coming from the Bahamas we were not used to elevators being that small .
Nice clean and cozy hotel room with a great view of the water.
Ther was no porter to carry our luggage from the hotel to the taxi.
The room had a balcony which overlooked a canal. You pay extra for this. You could sit out there and enjoy the view
The ensuite was the smallest I have ever seen in all my travels. You had to squeeze past the hand basin and toilet to get to the tiny bath(1.0m) which had no shower screen. The room which they claimed was one of their best was in the roof, the slope of which restricted the room space.

This is an overnighter - excellent for purpose but realise its purpose.
Convenience to buses/trains but still on a picturesque canal in old Venice.
No shower curtain
* First stay asked for quiet room and was very well appointed. * Second stay asked for a room overlooking the canal - got 707 - still quiet at night * Breakfast included and very good. * Bag storage allowed prior to booking in and after booking out. Thus an enjoyable days walking
Room 707 a little dated and needs a shower curtain over the bath
Desk clerk was very knowledgeable of area, points of interests and extremely helpful and responsive to all our inquiries. Very pleasant and efficient.
Room was not really on time. Had to wait for cleaning staff to finish. Rooms are quite small. Bath towels need to be larger.
Location to cruise port wifi and friendly staff Nice room
Very close to to P.Le Roma with its transport links - People Mover to port, train, buses, ticket office. Our room was well appointed with an excellent, modern bathroom (full bath). Quiet at night. Good range of choices at breakfast.
We travelled with another couple who had to take another room due to a terrible smell. The replacement was tiny - couldn't open room door and wardrobe at same time. Because it faced the canal, the staff would not compromise on price. Receptionist was inconsistent in manner. Disappointing as our own room was very comfortable.
The location, friendly and helpful staff, the yummy, delicious breakfast at Hotel Arlecchini all made our vacation in Venice an unforgettable experience. Enjoying the sites, shopping and great restaurants were all nearby.
the location was fantastic for seeing Venice prior to cruise. The room was small but comfortable. spotlessly clean. Canal view -but only looking out of window
there was no public area to sit and relax although you could use the hotel a couple of doors down - but remember you are in Venice so even a soft drink will cost you
Very accommodating allowed us to leave baggage in foyer before having to board cruise. Great breakfast and hotel surroundings. Restaurants very handy. Thank you to all hotel staff who made our stay enjoyable.
Excellent location, pretty breakfast room, very helpful staff, canal view room was outstanding. Except for the hail storm the last night, everything was perfect.
Nothing because they had no power to stop the rain. The steps to get there from Piazzale Roma are something.
Location was quiet yet perfect for Piazza Roma buses and Vaporettas. Lots of choice for reasonable restaurants and bars Lovely little balcony in room 902 had lovely views
Bathroom was tiny but balcony made up for it!!
Good location Comfortable, quiet room Pleasant reception staff
Not good value for money Small room for breakfast and mediocre food Shower, but no shower curtain
Room was very small.
The location of the Hotel is excellent for all public transport.....from disembarking from the cruise ships, to the airport shuttle bus, water buses and taxis and the train to the mainland. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful.A pleasant stay in which to wander around Venice.
Perfect location for pre or post cruise. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a beautiful canal view room. Small room but very comfortable. Breakfast had variety. Would recommend and stay again.
