Hotel Olimpia is in Venice’s historic center, a 5-minute walk from Basilica dei Frari, the city parking garage in Piazzale Roma, and the Grand Canal.

This elegant 12th-century building was once home to the Doge Marino Falier. Just 1000 ft from Rialto Bridge, it offers elegant rooms with antique furniture and original paintings.
Score from 434 reviews Excellent
The Ca' San Rocco is in a quiet area, only 5 minutes by foot from both Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station and the bus station in Piazzale Roma.

For some reason, our room at Arlecchino was not available and they gave us a room at Olympia Hotel situated further. The staff was absolutely great and also the room.
location was perfect best service
Very good hotel. nice staff. I live in the top floor and the room is great!
near to climb up the stair when i go to my room.
Location: only one bridge to cross to get to People Mover. Small room but it had all the amenities.
Location, helpful staff I would recommend to everybody. And I will stay at Arlecchino on my next visit x
The character of the hotel and rooms.
staff helpful , breakfast is ok
the room is small for a family. price is a litter high
Nice hotel right on the canal
They recommended a place to eat around the corner, where theysend all the guests. It was nothing special.
we have stayed here before and always enjoy our stay.
once or twice have had to wait for a table at breakfast.
The nicest thing about the hotel was how clean it was. I am very picky when it comes to that, and our room was very well cleaned every day. The breakfast included in the stay was also very abundant and delicious.
The outdatedness of the hotel, especially the rooms (the one we stayed in at least -705), but that is more a personal preference. Also, no shower curtain... Very strange! The room was extremely small, but we got used to it and wasn't in it much. The hotel staff we had experienced (4 people) were also not very friendly or helpful and one even was very pushy to let his friend take us to Murano for a tour for free. Did not appreciate that at all cause we kept saying we weren't interested (if you aren't familiar, these offers are usually followed up with huge pressures to buy products. The tour "guide" and hotel clerk both need to get paid somehow to cover the cost of taking you out there in a taxi).
Couldn't ask for a better location, right on the immediate outskirts of Piazzale Roma - the BEST area to stay in Venice. It's the hub for buses, taxis and vaparettos and makes getting around Venice so easy. This hotel had everything I was looking for - an elevator and a clean, spacious tastefully decorated room with AC and lovely canal views. Lovely breakfast included.
Can't think of a thing.
Everything really, we stayed here for the first time last November (2013) the staff are great, a particular thank you must go to Francesco, so helpful and obliging. The room was very nice and very clean the breakfast was perfect. Hope to return in the new year. Thank you all.
The only criticism was that the air conditioning did not work; even in November, it was quite warm in the evening.
Location and nice staff
Location to Marittima Basin and Piazzale Roma transport hub. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Location and visibility of this charming hotel made navigating to the bus , train , vaporetto and cruise ship Very Convenient! In this very confusing City, Hotel Arlecchino and helpful staff graced our trip with peace and confidence.we asked and received a room with elevator access, 2 beds and a canal view!
What's not to like?
Location, elevator, good breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff Beautiful Room, great for family of 4 Handy location near people mover to get to the port. Just a 5 minute walk and easy with luggage. Lovely breakfast. Gondola rides just 2 minutes away, paid 80 euros for 6 people for half hour (quite reasonable)
The location was perfect for pre-cruise and arriving by train. Easy walk each way. Free wifi. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
Staff helped with directions to restaurants and tourist sites. Great breakfast especially the capuccino!
Older hotel lacks enough electrical outlets in rooms to accommodate computers, chargers, etc.
Comfortable bed, ample continental breakfast and easy to locate hotel which was a bonus as it was our first stay in venice.
Bathroom was very small. No shower curtain we managed but larger people would struggle.
Proximity to Cruise Line docks
Not much space to maneuver.
it was a very tight space
the room is very small with the amount money paid. poor wifi
Family room but divided into 2 separate rooms
Lots of stairs breakfast not too good
