Location Our room was located near the shared bathroom which had a laundry machine that was still working at midnight, thus making a lot of noise - the hotel should prohibit the use after a certain hour. The wall painting has to be redone.

Very good location, easy to find, very close to Central Station and city center as well. Old inside, but clean. Bed-linen and towels were clean, big and comfortable bed. I liked that the receptionist was very polite to explain directions and even gave us a city map. I would recommend this hotel for budgeted families.

The location was good, near some metro stations. Our room was quite big and spacious, perfect for a 2 night stay to see the city. The overall ambiance of the hotel is great Shower and bathroom are in the same place, and there are only 2 for the whole floor, which can be a bit chaotic. Some people in the lobby didn't speak english, just italian.

The hostel location is a bit far from the train station, but somehow that is a blessing – Napoli’s train station area might not fit my liking. The hostel’s vibe is friendly and loud – common teenage-like hostel, I’d say. (But everything became peaceful and quiet after 11 –ish so no complaint really) One girl at the reception is really good and helpful - she recommended a few sight-seeing spots and the best pizza place in the city. The hostel locates quite near Tram No. 1 terminal stop - so you can get right on the tram and it will directly go to the train station in 10 mins. None whatsoever.

It is very close to the central station. The room was big, the bed too. Good illumination. The staff was kind and helpful. They guide me to reach some spots that I wanted to visit. The breakfast was not bad. I would come back to hotel Arno again. In the nights the area could be a little dangerous from my point of view.

It was clean and cosy. Manager was friendly and very helpful! Window didnt close properly so everytime a tram went past it rattled, so at 11pm rattling gets pretty annoying! Some staff acted like they had to be there rather than they wanted to be there.

Just perfect to spend a night between transport connections for reasonable price with minimal comfort. If you are looking for comfort then go to another country, Italy is about food and beauty, not about comfort. :-) Internet speed is from the 20th century. You can check your mail but I wouldn't risk making payments because it interrupts every few seconds. But this is everywhere in Italy, in this country technology is not an ordinary everyday need but a luxury. :-) Also I was lucky to slim down before visiting this hotel, otherwise I wouldn't fit into the elevator. So, if you are fat you're in trouble there. :-)

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple but pretty good value for Milan standards. Room was clean. Hotel feels homely. Supermarket around the corner. Location seems a bit rough around the edges.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. One was grudgingly helpful, the others were always eager to help. Everything else. The room was in need of a complete makeover -- dirty walls, hard bed, slabs for pillows, old coverlet. Bedroom was covered so that one could not see out. The shared bathroom was awful -- peeling tiles in the shower with crusty buildup; dirty bath mats (old), very old shower mat. Bathroom also in need of a complete makeover. Both my room and the bathroom looked as if it had been at least 30 years since they'd seen any repair or paint. The bed cover needs to go to the dump.

Excellent location, 5-7min direct walk from Milano Centrale. About a 15 min walk into the city centre. Nice staff, clean basic room. Clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Free wifi but the strength was fair. I would definitely stay here again. The price and location were excellent for me. Tram outside window but it didn't bother me. The room I was in was right behind the office and under a stairway so was a bit noisy as each time the buzzer rang, I could hear it and also the people in the room above me going up and down the stairs were very noisy. But it didn't keep me awake as I had earplugs in.

Main owner was lovely-Ask for a room on the back as there are tram tracks out front. Breakfast only £3, good value as coffee can cost this much in a cafe. Dont walk to hotel-take number 5 tram outside railway station and get off two stops later at Via Lazzeretto.
