Hotel was in good position and clean. Basic room but large enough for 4. Staff very helpfully and friendly with nice area to sit out on. Breakfast better than expected.
Wi-fi not great but ok. Being next to McDonalds did mean you sometimes got the smell of their food on the veranda
I liked the location within a square right next to the Duomo and the Tower. I liked the breakfast on the roof terrace and the friendly staff.
The bathroom was too small and in need of attention. I would recommend the removal of the bidet and replacing it with a larger shower. We may have been unlucky with the room that was allocated - pehaps some are larger.
right on the door step of the tower, at a very affordable price
Location - Near to Leaning tower
- Lady at Reception is not polite - Rooms was very old. - No maintenance to bathroom doors - WIFI did not work for a day. - Breakfast is not up to the mark
The location was good as was the view of the dome.
The room was old and run down. The bathroom door did not close properly and once you did manage to shut it there was a serious fear of not managing to get out (you had to practically break it down). Additionally the bathroom paint was flaking off the roof. The shower was small and needs a good scrub. Breakfast was standard and is not included in the rate. Wifi was poor and only worked in certain areas of the room aka right next to the window.
Location was excellent for first time visitors to Pisa, which we were. Tower and duomo couldn't be closer. Staff helpful and friendly, recommended a lovely restaurant for our evening meal which was non touristy and food was excellent and atmosphere great. Also it was very close. Air conditioning in rooms was adequate. Rooms smallish but for a short break I would recommend. Not bothered at all by noise outside. Car parking easy and only 15 mins to airport.
Not much. Shower in our daughters room not great and their beds were smaller, both rooms slept three, ours was more comfortable. Would not be put off by parking, it really isn't far.
I was hoping that the hotel would be charming and have a great view of the old wall in Pisa. Unfortunately it was above the McDonald's, next to a square with stalls selling tourists plastic crap.
Room was very small and not very clean. The wifi was weak and worked 20% of the time. Breakfast was paltry and orange juice from powder served in plastic Dixie cups. Yum.
- I have lost the keycard of my room, but I have got a new one quickly and for free from the stuff - the location, to be in two minutes from my room beside the Tower, amazing!! - I could safely park the rented scooter near the hotel for free - McDonald 5 meters from the hotel :-)
- The wifi router had to be restarted twice a day to get work, but no problem to do it by myslef (unplug and plug again). - the shower box extremely small
We were shocked by just how close this place was to the Tower of Pisa - we were right on top of it! The location of this hotel is incredible - the view from our room was amazing too. We found the staff friendly and they were always happy to help - even carried our bags upstairs for us. Whilst the rooms are basic, they are clean and comfortable and I think excellent value for money in this location. I really can't stress enough how close this hotel is to The Tower.
The wifi didn't work - but it is next door to McDonalds and they have excellent wifi and all it costs is a coffee. The air conditioning was very poor and we baked in the room. It is tricky to find by car (but then that's because it is so close to the tower!)
It's just some minutes walking to the Pisa tower and also to the Rossore rail station. Good location.
The breakfast is really horrible! It hasn't natural juice, ham, cheese and the owner puts only few of croissants time to time. The room is very small and noisy.
Position, positon, position !
Very cramped for family of 4. Airconditioner not working, after asking staff to fix after 1st night, they did not believe us, finally fixed it for the 2nd night. Breakfast minimal.
Location and friendly staff.
Bathroom wasn't up to scratch and was too small. Bathroom Door continually jammed and we were locked in and could only get out thru brute force.
I like the location. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I stayed there for 15 nights and feel like home. It's safe and convenient. I'll recommend the hotel for anyone who visit Pisa.
Noise - it's located in tourist shopping area and McDonald is on the ground floor. But if you close the window, everything is fine.
Location. The gentleman on duty when I arrived was very polite and welcoming.
Room was poky, bathroom makeshift and there was nothing to stop it flooding when using the shower. Room was noisy both from traffic and a rowing couple! Wifi didn't work in the room, I asked about this and told it was rebooted. Some staff not at all welcoming and didn't seem to care less. Breakfast poor.
The location is perfect, literally 15 meters away from the leaning tower and cathedral site. The staff is very kind and attentive. Room is nice and clean, as is the bathroom and sheets. Good price! Recommended!!
Nothing in particular, except some issues with the WiFi connection in my room (no 22). Also a little problem with the hot water that was getting hotter or colder in random intervals (this may be an issue during winter) but on my visit during May it was ok.
Close to Plaza dei Miracoli, Had a nice upstairs terrace , unfortunately was raining so couldn't use. Breakfast was adequate though they should just skip the chemical "juice" machine.Staff very helpful and lugged my not so light suitcase up two sets of stairs and then down again.
Small stuffy hot room with no way to control temperature and no window to open.
Location was perfect! I am guessing it is the closest hotel to the Tower of Pisa. Staff was helpful and friendly!
Room was worn out and in need of updating. Bedspread was tattered and grungy.
The location is perfect. It's exactly next to the dome and Pisa tower and very accessible by car.
The hotel does not have a lift, so people who cannot go up stairs need to be careful. Wifi did not work, we went to the reception to inform them about it and the receptionist just told us that most probably they have issues with their wifi service... something which we could figure out ourselves. She didn't even try to solve the issue. Bathrooms are very old, small and do not look quite clean.
Proximity to attractions. McDonalds next door. View onto souvenir stalls
Management poor. Wrote to management in English regarding information and they wrote back in Italian. When I translated, information sketchy, but they obviously understood what I was asking. Breakfast poor. Parking not on site but 135.5m down the road at service station that was not 24 hr. Although not secure, parking appeared to be safe enough. Shower towels sufficient for table cloths only. Bed mattresses either very cheap or very old as you can feel the springs when lying down. Can be very noisy if windows look out onto souvenir stalls after 2300 hrs. At 2300 hrs McDonalds staff scrape outside tables back to wall for road cleaners. Unfortunately road cleaners clean at 0300 and scrape tables back again. No fault of owners but a better arrangement could be made as McDonalds is 0700 - 2300 opening time. Hotel is in prime position and just needs some money spent and good management.
Proximity to the Tower
Proximity to tower etc, value for money.
Great location, we only stopped over for a brief few hours. See the tower and go again. This hotel is perfect for that, it's is a short walk away.
Parking was quite a way down the road behind a service station. It does not look safe at all.
staff friendly and helpful. location very good for the tower.
wifi did not work in my room - top floor - suspect out of range. i didn't ask the staff to fix it, so perhaps they would have been able to fix it.
An average hotel close to 'Leaning Tower'. Friendly staff. Good for one night stay. Very basic breakfast.
