Art Resort Galleria Umberto

Location is very good and safe. This hotel is situated very near to the historical heritage such as Royal Palace. Airport bus and city bus R2 stations are next to the gate of this hotel. Room is very beautiful and clean. Its ceiling is painted with drawing, and the wall is covered with beautiful paintings. This hotel is exactly historical heritage and Art Gallery.

Elevator system is very old and unconvienient.

Wonderful experience, extremely friendly staffs, very close to sightseeing spots and shopping area. Room is big and clean, specially glad for the jacuzzi!Even under reinnovation during the stay but didnt feel any annoyment at all. First choice to stay when visiting Napoli again 3 thumbs up!!!!

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms very very large and comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

I liked the central location to many of the attraction and the convenience to transportation. There was a funicular that traveled straight to the Metro stop about 40 meters from the exit and the bus to the airport was right outside the hotel.

I did not like that the hotel was inside the Galleria Umberto shopping court (construction on-going right now) and the elevator doesn't always work (4th floor - very tall floors).

Very friendly staff.

The Galleria itself is being renovated. This did not bother us as it does not effect the hotel too much but at night, there are a few shady characters on the path to the hotel -- an effect probably enhanced by the renovation.

This is really one of the most pleasant hotels we stayed in, spacious rooms, clean, extremely friendly staff, centrally located and quite quiet for a hotel in the city centre. Even the 10 cent elevator is fun and charming when you are aware of it in advance. Entrance is in the Galleria and not that hard to find as presented in the reviews.

Although the hotel staff will do everything to present you with a nice breakfast (cappuccino's, freshly squeezed orange juice, boiled or scrammbled eggs, etc), the bread selection and freshness could be a bit more adjusted to non-Italian guests. Other than that, we would not be able to mention anything with room for improvement.

This hotel has a lot of character and its location is basically in the middle of everything. The best however is the hotel staff, they where just fantastic.

The antique elevator should be avoided if you have claustrophobia.

Le bain immédiat dans la ville de Naples. La proximité des lieux à visiter ou la facilité pour s'y rendre (taxis, bus,aliport, funiculaire au pied de l'hotel). La convivialité d'un petit hotel et la disponibilité du personnel pour donner les bonnes adresses de restaurants !

La galerie où est situé l'hotel favorise la présence de SDF la nuit qui sont parfois très bruyant!!! Douche bouchée et fonctionnant mal...dommage pour un 4 étoiles.
