The guy who met us was really friendly. The old building is beautiful with a great little door into the courtyard. The area is 'vibrant' (ie a bit of a mess) but it is interesting and right by the centro storico and the train station. Breakfast was served to the room on time and with a smile. Free wifi. Cheap! The shower was dreadful! Almost unusable. The breakfast was very average. The wifi only worked when sitting on the step outside the bathroom

Close to the main train station. The lady who greeted us was extremely friendly. Free breakfast. Lots of weird, scary people close. Did not feel safe after dark.

The hotel is small and cosy. The staff was helpfull and nice, although their english was poor. The hotel and the room were very clean. Close to the train station and about 15 min walk to the port and 25 min to Via Toledo, the main shopping street. The train station area is filled with dubious street merchants and it is not a pleasant area to come to at night. On sundays, in the Principe Umberto Square there is a second hand stuff fair (people sell their things directly on the sidewalk). The hotel is actually part of a building with private homes (it is a floor of that building). The rooms are a bit small, but nice. Double bed means two simple beds put together with a small space between them.

Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Location was ok, if you need to use train or metro station, also trams and buses stop near by. If you want to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius, it is a perfect place to stay. Can find nice shops on bigger streets. Location is not the safest, especially if you travel as a couple of women. Have to be careful from teenage boys in evenings, because they can assault you and police can't do a thing if they are less than 18 years old. Had a very bad experience as a tourist. Very dirty city in general. On Sundays everything closed. Nothing negative about hotel.

Breakfast in the room! Quiet. Nice mezzanine layout. Handy location but quite seedy at night. Virginia very helpful and friendly. Aircon made the bed area too hot and downstairs too cold. We couldn leave our luggage after check out (only possible until 2pm)

Close to the station. A good breakfast and brought to your room. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Kitchen was so filthy could not use. Shower very low pressure. Air conditioner didn't heat downstairs effectively and overheated upstairs because located too high on the wall. The ceiling above the bed was so low unable to stand up.

We stayed at this hotel during 4 nights and we can say that if you decided to stay in this area (Central station), B&B Art Suite Principe Umberto - is the best place. It is absolutely safe and has soundproofed windows. Special thanks to Virginia - she was extremely obliging and helpful. Our room was clean, plenty big, had a balcony and a good shower. Only the area around, but it's not hotel's fault.

The price was very reasonable. We also liked having the breakfast brought to the room in the morning. The proximity to the train location was good for day trips Outside the building were a lot con artists and hustlers on the streets nearby the b&B.

The staff were extremely helpful. Thebroom was large and comfortable. A bit noisy from the traffic but surfing the double glazed doors to the small balcony cut the noise but could make it stuffy.

We took a superior apartment the balcony being on the front of the building with a great view of the main Corso Garibaldi which proved most entertaining, watching the traffic versus the pedestrians is great fun and impromptu bands can strike up at night. Good mattress and a pretty wrought iron double bed, good shower, toilet, basin and bidet, good safe, well glzed and aircon, plus a continental breakfast served in your room. Excellent. Two drawbacks that you must consider the b&b sign on the wall next to the big wooden entrance is small but once found ease to locate and 106 steps to the apartment floor, which gets one above the noise at night but you will need a 100cent piece to operate the lift (desk person will provide) Take what you read about Naples cautiously. You do need to realise you are in a large city with its share of problems and take the appropriate caution as you would anywhere else in the world. All your cant do without secreted about your person in zip pockets or body belt. If you can only take one rucksack or piece of luggage you can attach to your body or are very sure of being able to secure. Before you leave the station get a map from tourist information and know where you’re going so you can stride out of the station and not hesitate or dawdle and go straight to your hotel. You will not find as many English speaking people here but rarely are they unfriendly in anyway.

Nice and clean room, friendly staff, great service. Breakfast is served directly in the room. Only problem was with payment, internet connection crashed down and card reader didn't work, we had no cash and no time, so the receptionist was accompanying us to the atm. Also because of location next to the railway station you have to go through 4 doors and the first gate is difficult to open.

Friendliness of staff, paying attention to detail to make your stay most comfortable and always feeling relaxed nothing would be stolen being on a 4th floor of an appartment house and with so many keys until you get to the room, the furniture and decoration of room/suite is luxorious. Se me olvidó deciroslo. La llave de la puerta principal de entrada de madera está desgastada y al ser una puerta pesada no puede abrir la puerta. A no ser que se trate de la cerradura en sí y no del juego de llaves Procida.

The upstairs balcony for the bedroom the kids enjoyed. I selected this hotel over another based on the reviews. Horribly disappointed. Area seemed worse than the previous place we stayed near the station. Had to select a specific check in time to meet up with the receptionist who doesn't stay. Baby cot had no mattress. They had put a comforter in instead. They didn't understand how unsafe that could be. No hot water and they only issued a 20 Euro refund even though we were only there for a total of 11 hours (early flight in morning). The water tap dripped all night. The sofa bed my husband and I slept in was so noisy you could barely roll over without waking other people. Air conditioner was either on or off, meaning too cold in room or too hot. I do not recommend staying in this hotel for the price. There was another 4-5 blocks away we stayed at that was cleaner, safer and more comfortable. They should have issued the entire cost in my opinion. This is my first complaint on Booking.com ever.

Stayed here and found that the room was lovely,we had a room looking over the city and had a nice view staff were excellent and very friendly. The hotel rooms are on the 4th floor, just make sure you have 10cents for the lift which you have to pay for each time you use it.
