hotel is still lovely but getting old - bathrooms are small and dated
You have change elevator if you located above the fourth floor. There was no wifi access available. They promise to fix it but they did not. The in-room safe was not fixed to the furniture. At the breakfest there were not enough glass to drink.
Extremely helpful staff. Comfortable hotel. Superior rooms have lots of space. Metro is only a short walk away.
The decor Breakfast service Friendly, knowledgeable receptionists Well placed for Termini station, and with some reasonable restaurants close by.
slow lifts(but now I'm being picky)
It was close enough to the City Centre to reach via Taxi or bus or walk but we had a 4 year old with us so we chose the public transport option as it is right around the corner from the Roma Termini. The upside of being a little bit out of the main centre is that you find a lot of good restaurants at half the price and it's a lot quieter than some hotels in the city centre. The rooms were very clean and if you're a fan of Art Deco very well designed. The breakfasts were good too and the breakfast staff were helpful and friendly.
Our first room we had to climb stairs to get to and coming from South Africa and staying for a while we had a lot of luggage and a stroller for our son and no one to help us take our luggage to our room but on our way back when we stayed there we had a much better room with an elevator to get us to our room but still no one to help us take our luggage to the room. The breakfast could do with a bit of variation and the front desk staff could be a bit more attentitive
The hotel is very clean, I appreciate a lot the staff and their good service starting with front desk Reception, and very nice people to the restaurant where we had the breakfast every morning. The staff is very helpful. The room: it is very clean, big room, big bathroom, but they do not offer shampoo/ conditionner that I thought is a must for 4* hotel. Location: good location from where you can walk about 10 minutes to Termini station or to down town in 30 minutes (street September or Natzionale) . In the close area there are fee resto but the best nice little resto it was Steak House (via Montenello) with very good food, price not expensive at all for what we ordered and the drink is cheap ( try the house wine). staff very nice too, we return few times to eat there- I highly recomend to eat there.
What it was under our expectation: the 3rd bed we ask for our ado, it wasn't a bed, it was a armchair that is extensible and our child did not fill very comfortable. We asked for 3 beds but they offer only 2 beds, so the 3rd person have to pay for a bed and end up on the armchair. Another issue was the wi-fi that did not work very well on our room. We had to go to the lobby to have wi-fi connexion.
Nice little Hotel not too far from the action. Staff very helpful.
Starting to look a little tired, carpets could do with replacing
The location is not perfect, but it is good enough. The staff was very nice actually. Breakfast was good and rich.
The wifi was just an epic fail... If almost never worked :-( Terrible view to a courtyard full of noisy and rather smelly airing.
Excellent location. Only a ten minute walk from Roma termini and other metro station. Breakfast was great fills you up for a long day of travelling
The wifi was weak, intermittent at times, but use able
We liked the location, as it was near the rail terminus.
The double room was small.
the restaurants near-by the strong shower pressure
the room -smelled musty -small and dark -hard bed -bed nats -color scheme of the room -smell of the elevator (passing up from ground level to 2nd floor - passing the first floor you smelled cigerette smoke!!!
The location was excellent for me. The room was small but very tidy and nicely furninshed. There was some noise from the street so ask for a room on the quiet side. I liked the breakfast woth plenty of choice and also the longish breakfast time --good for both early work day mornings and not so early free mornings.
Some of the breakfast waiters were not very eager to bring coffee/tee. The wifi was not strong enough and sometimes it just went down.
We love the hotel's designer decor; its lovely, quiet, comfortable rooms; its wonderful location, close to embassies, beautiful mansions as well as to Roma Termini and major arteries on which we can easily walk to see Rome's major attractions... and waking up each day to the sound of birds singing their morning songs. The Artdeco is a very classy hotel!
The wi-fi service is unstable and, therefore, somewhat frustrating to use.
Room was a great value. It was a bit further from the rail station that I expected, but not bad. Had dinner there and was able to order off the menu without issue.
wifi speeds were poor
The decor was good, and staff ok when approached. Head to park for different view of the city.
Stayed 4 nights and hot water never fixed so cold showers and unable to use whirlpool bath. Breakfast somehow uninspiring and service slow. Would rate as an overpriced 3 star, no way a 4 star.
Old furniture and poor Wifi signal even after complaining
staff, breakfast, location, very clean bedrooms and bathrooms
problems with internet connection in my room.
Maintanance: the first morning, I advised reception that a light in the bathroom was not working. They took a note but when I came back at night it was still broken
Nice, old fashion hotel. Rooms with storylike vibes in the walls. Wonderful scrambled eggs for breakfast. Nice folks at the desk as in the restaurant.
clean comfortable and breakfast was excellent
No coffee making facilities Jacuzzi leaked and all my clothes were soaked on the floor!!!
It was a great time!! The staff is very kind and gentle. The place is wonderful, near the Termini station. I will surely stay there in another trip to Rome!!!
Sometimes the internet connection is very slow. Sometimes, the water in the shower is almost gone!!
The staff was very helpful. The room was big with a Jacuzzi. The place was very central , near to 3 metro station
Everything was excellent
I always return to this hotel when in Rome - I like the tastefully and uniquely chosen interior design, the solid quality of all furniture and equipments, and the quiet and elegant location..... all rooms are individually different and lovely, the staff is competent and kind, breakfast is a pleasant experience - Rome is at the doorsteps and yet far away when you are inside this hotel.
there is nothing which would be worth mentioning, this hotel is a lovely one.
Having to walk up the stairs with our suitcases
The location is excellent, very close to Termini station. Very good coffee.
Little choice for breakfast. Sometimes they ran out of products and it took some time to replace them.
