staff was spectacular--helpful
This wonderful hotel with kind staff is in the midst of all happenings in the mythical city of Palermo. I had a lovely stay and without any trouble.
This is not a complaint or something that I did not like but this is not really a four-stars hotel. It might be a good average three stars but never, ever four!
We have stayed here twice now. Staff, especially Guisy and co-worker at breakfast, all very helpful and smily.
A noisy location but what can one expect in the centre of a busy city. Keep shutters and windows closed.
Great location, staff generally polite and helpful. Would return.
Loud music in breakfast room but that seems to be the way of things.
I would prefer having electronic door locks.
Staff were helpful and changed our very noisy room for a quieter one
Cramped and noisy rooms Very limited public areas Tiny breakfast room for the number of guests Broken window blind
My family stayed for 4 days in October. The hotel was wonderful - great location, clean and well-appointed rooms, excellent breakfast, helpful and charming staff. I highly recommend it.
Very stylish hotel close to both the city center and the port.
Breakfast Location Staff
We were not expecting to be put in the attic room & had the same issue as others with the safe in an unlocked area. The shower was badly fitted & the shower head had to be held in the hand. It was two singles & not a queen bed. Not a 4 star experience at all. Very poor value for money.
Location Staff Breakfeast Clean After check our we could leave luggage which was very handy
Room decor could do with a slight upgrade Not the quietest of places but you wouldnt expect it to be
Staff. Room. Clean. Very nice hotel. Ideal location.
Very friendly and helpful staff, very central, very good breakfast, small hotel and good parking possibility for relatively little money
The name "Palace" is a bit misleading...it is a very nice small city hotel.
pretty well everything. staff were very attentive and any issue that arose was dealt with by giusse (the manager) efficiently
the room may be a little noisey, but it is palermo and traffic hums rather than being disruptive.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful.
Softer beds would have helped my old back!
This top quality hotel run by a very friendly family. Newly refurbished to a very high standard. Superb value Excellent breakfasts Location is perfect: it is a short distance from the ferry port and 4 minutes from the central location of the tour buses. Although the location is central the hotel is not noisy at night.
Parking near the hotel is difficult. Best bet is to leave the car overnight at the car park near the ferry port ( 6 minutes away by foot) cost EUR 15 for 24 hours
Great hotel, we booked the junior suite, didn't disappoint, it was outstanding! Parking close by was cheap. Staff were fantastic and so helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend! We loved Palermo!
The hotel has an elevator so that was appreciated. The free breakfast and coffee was good . The staff was very helpful. The air conditioner worked great. The hotel was clean.
Wifi wasn't very fast at times but that seems to be common in Italy. But it was free. The bathroom was quite small. The room was quite small. There were no English speaking channels and one like CNN would have been appreciated. Bed was quite hard.
Perfect location; Good breakfast.
* In the 5th floor room is too small for 3 persons, * outside doors of the room can not be locked so wardrobe in room's corridor is unsafe; * staff did not suggest help for a lady with lardge bag, unless they knew that elevator do not lift to 5th floor.
I stayed 23-24 nights. On 24th there was G-strikes in Itay. I wanted to go Agrigento as a one day trip. The hotel stuff searched to go there by bus and give me the schedule sheet. I have enjoyed the ancient Sisily!
WiFi was not so strong within the room. There was no bathtub for 90 euro!
Ease of getting around Palermo-- very pleasant breakfast
The rooms on the front were terrible noisy. Understand this is not the fault of the hotel.
Fairly close to the center, though walking at night in Palermo is not a fun experience in general. Staff was nice and helpful.
The original room we got (a standard room) was terrible - small, with a narrow horizontal window close to the ceiling which can't be closed (very noisy), tiny shower room and a hard bed. After complaining on our second day we were moved to another room which was much better - bigger, nice bathroom, nice window facing the street, bed street hard though.
Location, breakfast, clean hotel
Nothing to report
Spacious and clean room, good air conditioning.
Bad wifi signal in room despite being right next to router. Breakfast was just ok compared to others we had elsewhere in Sicily.
Great location. Hotel recently renovated, with lovely furnishings, and excellent bed. Very helpful staff! We were extended the courtesy of an upgrade to a junior suite. Very, very nice!
