Score from 272 reviews Excellent
The location was very convenient, being only a 5 minute walk from the train station and a pleasant stroll into the lovely town centre. The jacuzzi bathtub in the hotel was also a pleasant surprise. Staff were pleasant, accommodating and helpful. The view of wooded hillsides was pleasant.
The receptionist was very helpful, providing directions to a number of restaurants, sightseeing options and shopping destinations.
Strategic position between the railway station and historic centre. Spacious lobby, good free wi-fi. My room had a nice view of the river and mountains. Copious breakfast.
Ridiculously few sockets in the room.
Very professional and efficient staff. Fantastic value at a budget price. Have the breakfast and you'll feel like you might in a five star luxury establishment. Located right beside the train station so less than 30 minutes away from Florence.
Convenient stopover but don't expect a scenic location.
Good cleaning and good location.
Bad wi-fi connection and the staff was ignoring my feedback.
the view from our room overlooking the river and walking trail. staff was helpful/gave great directions from the train station; close to old town of Prato; proximity to train station- 10 minute walk through a park on level ground; good location for an overnight in Prato. One night in the hotel is sufficient. free wi - fi.
size of room/shower facility in bathroom; small room and bathroom
Colse to the station. Nice room and very clean! Breakfast is good.
Very helpful daytime receptionist
Grumpy Night Receptionist Bar closing at 10pm
Location was great for train into Florence. Free parking. Close to many good restaurants.
It was a bit noisy at night because of cars and trucks.
A location convenient to the train station, the river and downtown.
Would be nice to have a light free breakfast and coffee. A duvet.
Friendly and helpful staff at the reception.
Dusty room, dirty stairwell, mediocre breakfast with rancid butter, no margerine. Machine with luke warm coffee. Too expensive for what is on offer.
Very good, nothing to complain if you can find the free parking on the other side of Lambrate railway station.
Location Very handy for Prato Centrale railway station
The noise, the place has been "laminated". Weir on river outside front rooms sound of rushing water all the time, get a room on the back. Lumpy pillows, awful breakfast, bacon and bread inedible. Fire door on 2nd floor propped open with a fire extinguisher.
Location to the station was good. Free WiFi was also great.
Staff were average - not very helpful and somewhat rude. They also seem un-organised, always asking when we come in what room we are from, even though we saw the exact same staff member the day before. The rooms were very very basic. Way better places at Prato (around the same price range which was discovered later). Also noticed some homeless people hanging around outside at night. Wouldn't recommend when comparing value for money. Not worth 4 stars!
Location-wise it's excellent, just a few minutes walking from the train station. Staff was helpful. Great buffet breakfast with homemade cakes and yogurt and other yummy things.
Air conditioning was not working properly, I had to open the window in order to get some fresh air. Internet was a joke, a very unreliable connection that kept dropping every 5 minutes. Also, there's no electric plug near the bed, and only one plug available near the desk.
There is only one problem . mosquitoes. Hotel must find another solution
Friendly staff and a good location.
Room was plain.
It was one of the worst experience to stay in this hotel. 1. Not clean 2. Shower cabin door was broken 3. There was almost no hot water to was the hands. But in shower there was hot water normally. 4. There was smell in room.
Hotel ideally located for getting into Florence by train. Bed very comfortable and bathroom very clean and nice shower facilities. Hotel staff friendly and courteous.
At night close to hotel and station ladies plying their trade. It may put off families and your elderly aunt!
the location is only 5 minutes from the train andthe bus station. nice breakfast
there is not free parking at the hotel. you can park at the street and pay, its free on sunday or park at the hotel parking and pay to the hotel.
Excellent location. The staff was nice and helpful.
Not have breakfast included.
Good access to Rail Station, Prato is a high value location - good moderately priced restaurants. Hotel Front desk is efficient.
OK for one night (we stayed for 5!) Don't be taken-in by the Arty image - a couple of dozen prints does not = style. Only one lift + emergency stairs (alarmed door). Lift can be commandeered by coach/portering staff making exit difficult. Poor and expensive breakfast - understaffed, only a rickety old coffee machine for lots of guests to 'fight over'. Hot food = scrambled eggs, over cooked boiled eggs, cold frankfurter style sausages. Rubbish DIY toaster. At any one time there may be as many as 50 - 60 guests being served by one very nice (but exasperated) Italian lady and 2 surly, slovenly, useless male eastern euro males. ONE DAY MAX!!
Great location, 5 min walk to the train station - 10 min walk to the historic center. Possibility to find a parking spot in front of the hotel. Free WiFi.
Mosquitos, coming out of the river right beside the hotel are a MAJOR problem. They enter your room even if you keep your windows closed. You will find a mosquito repellent plug in device in your room, but from my experience it was not enough. The rooms are old - the hotel desperately needs renovation. The carpets were probably older than me.
