Staff was very nice, professional and helpful, rooms are clean, light and large, modern.
The hotel is very far from the city centre (1hr) and taxis are quite expensive there, so we decided to change hotel but the staff handled that perfectly and was very helpful!
Clean modern hotel Decent sized room/bathroom Comfy bed Friendly and very helpful English-speaking staff
Cooked Breakfast limited to scrambled eggs, no toast
Pretty ok accomodation, but in fact not deserving 4 stars.
The distance to the city center: 5 bus stops and 13 metro stops! Terrible. Another surprise was at check-out - the locat tax was at the level of 1 night which in my case was 25% more!
Personnel were so much rude. When you request something, the answer was always no. It was the worst hotel I have reserved by Booking.com
Spacious and clean room, great breakfast, English speaking helpful staff, building's condition almost as-new, Emme Piú supermarket next door greatly convenient as you get a small regrigerator in your room. Honestly, the hotel is quite far from Rome's city center, but it more than compensates this issue by being well conected with public transport (combination of bus+metro or our choice: the yellow Rome-Giardinetti light rail line to/from Termini. All of which is covered by the same ticket). Plus, we saw they are building new metro stations near the hotel in, so this is issue will improve in the future. Totally recommended!
If you choose the bus+metro route to/from city center, as suggested by the hotel staff, the ever unreliable Rome buses might waste a lot of your time, as it did to us (45 minute waiting for the go, 45 minutes waiting for the return). In theory this is the more direct route, so the hotel staff mean well, but the light rail is more reliable (5 mintures frequency) and you only need to walk a few more minutes through a quite nice neighbourhood.
- helpful staff - nice room
poor beakfast, everyday the same
room was really nice
location was odd
The room was modern and clean and all the reception areas were also clean and modern.
The hotel is too far from the city centre, it took us an hour by bus and train to get there. The buses were not quite so simple to work out coming back as they don't leave from opposite where you got off, ended up in middle of nowhere and had to ask locals to help find bus back.
Staff helpful. very clean. buffet breakfast. Supermarket next door. Convenient bus route.
Location from city cente. Bus and metro needed.
- Service - Breakfast - No Restaurants/bars - sterile Outfit - just Italien TV - No Terrasse or room to sit together
Nice breakfast. Very nice decor. Courteous staff.
The hotel is fairly far from the city center, and worse, fairly far from the Metro. I'd love to see the hotel start a shuttle service in the future. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent; on our first day they removed a few towels without replacing them. Other days were fine though.
Very friendly and helpfull staff. New hotel! Modern! If you go by car it's a very good option.
Far from downtown.
If saving money but not losing value is your goal, Hotel Artis is your answer. The downside is the hotel is located outside the heart of Rome, but if you don't mind traveling like the locals, taking a bus and subway is very simple once you learn the routes.
The trouble of learning which side of the street to take the bus and lack of knowledge of the area is rough in the beginning, but I'm also someone who doesn't like to ask for directions :)
It was modern, clean and comfortable. Far away from city center, but we had our own vehicle. Staff was friendly
Breakfast can be improved
Hotel and Services are good
Faraway from the Termini. So not good for tourists.
Clean, breakfast, good value
Bed was good, wifi good also.
Breakfast just typical with watery juices. Far from city center.
Clean and big room with all facilities and good air conditioning
The place is too far : needs underground and then a bus ride to get there
We arrived before check in time after a long journey. The girl on reception was lovely and managed to get us checked in early, and was very helpful with travel
Ideally situated for a fairly easy trip into Rome... Catch a bus about 200 yards away to the Metro and short trip in to city centre. Free parking. Internet top rate.
Day time staff was really friendly but did feel uncomfortable with some of the staff in evenings.
Clean, modern hotel which was great for a overnight and a trip into Rome. Staff were very helpful. God breakfast.Free parking.
Comfortable and clean. You can obtain bus tickets from the front desk.
The breakfast was poor and the location of the hotel is a good 40 minutes by bus and subway to Rome. The neighbourhood is not very appealing.
Good location in the quiet area. Very clean and comfortable room, good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to the public transport (it is quite far away from the city center, but it is no problem). Secured and free parking place.
Wi-Fi was not working good.
