great postion, clean hotel, good breakfast
Close to several sites. The staff speaks English.
The heater never worked; it was very cold thru the night. Tiny TV. No elevator and narrow stairs. The bed sheets had stains left from previous guests, which meant they were never changed.
Worst point was that the blanket did not have a cover, i saw this for the first time in a hotel and it's so unhygienic... Young lady at the check-in did not speak english well and was unfriendly, no map or any other info, most of the time nobody at the reception, very dangerous floor mat in the shower, room extremely hot and AC did not work
Everything except staff attitude.
Toilet assigned to us was with door lock broken. Told the staff and he told we can use other toilet since we were the only guess. At evening during my bath time at another toilet, the night shift staff (another one) opened the toilet when I was in shower. When I opened the door and this staff use very unfriendly, loud voice and accusing me using other people toilet. I try to explained to him but he won't listen. At last I shown him the broken lock and he turn queit abd say sorry + walk away. He should talk polite and listen to people explanation but not raise up his voice. Except this, everythings are perfect.
GREAT LOCATION - IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO ATTRACTIONS, RESTAURANTS, METRO ETC. CAN WALK TO ALL THESE PLACES. CLEAN NICE ROOMS, SIMPLE BUT GOOD BREAKFAST OPTIONS. FRIENDLY STAFF AT THE RECEPTION.
VERY SMALL BATHROOM
Nothing at all
incomplete information on aircondition usage which is misleading to tourist like us. All we know if you post that room has aircondition it should be available for use anytime.
Location, Staff, accomadation
Not much, the man at reception was very apologetic and moved us rooms.
We booked a double room with private external bathroom, went out for tea and returned to find someone had showered and left dirty sanitary pads in the bin. We went and got staff member he returned to find a man in our shower, he ended up moving our rooms to one with a private bathroom but still a horrible experience.
air condition is not working
Good location, helpful stuff, clean rooms, reasonable price
WiFi was not effective in the far rooms, the temperature and pressure of the water was fluctuation
Close to everywhere in downtown English speaking staff 1n-stay - no bad exp.
good location - walking distance to all the sightseeings, clean
too small room for 4 person, wi-fi doesn't work in rooms - only on stairs and at the reception
Very central hotel, lovely staff at reception. Pleasantly surprised and would recommend to anyone
location, 2 mins from main shops and only 5 min walk to train station, for the price it was good as it was close to everything, we were gone all day and only used the room to sleep.
room very small and bathroom The main door bangs very loud so from about 8oc on you are awake! Shower ran hot and cold constantly
the location was ok.
room was small. no toilet paper when we checked in. This hotel was the most expensive one that we stayed in Italy, while the poorest one.
Within walking distance from the train station and the Leaning Tower of Pisa
Because we had four people in the room we had to stay in an "apartment" outside the hotel. There was no Wifi or A/C in the room. The bathroom had mold all over the ceiling. The floor was dirty. The staff was rude. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
Location and room very clean
Air condition not providing an adecuate cooling room
The neighbourhood it was in
Location -15 minutes walk to center
Noise from outside and other rooms, staff speaks only italian
Location. Could leave luggage after checking out but only in corridor opposite reception which did not feel very secure. The morning reception person was far more helpful and attentive with better command of English which helped.
Booked two rooms as a family but were allocated rooms on different floors. One of the two rooms was booked with a private bathroom but website did not appreciate that the bathroom was down the corridor from the room and meant that whole family could not use it being on two separate floors. Rooms quite small. Reception lady had no command of English language. Basic tea making facilities would have been welcome. Reception area has open plan breakfast/ TV room. TV was on very loud into the evening and could be heard in the room and appeared to be watched by hotel staff. Carpet up the stairs is very grubby! Price to stay at the Marriott was the same but given was further away from centre chose Astor- wish had stayed at Marriott!
Everything worked! Shower was wonderful -- Best hotel we stayed in in our 12 days of traveling! -- --- The Field of Miracles (Leaning tower and other buildings) were a 10 minute walk away straight down one road, no turns or chances to get lost) ---- Hotel was close to the train station about 1/2 way between the tower and the station.
Wish there had been wi fi in the room.
Walking distance to Pisa. Inexpensive. Parking.
Facilities old and run down. Rooms need updating. Pillows and bed uncomfortable. Staff little help, asked for cash payment vs. credit card. Showers small, dirty, need renovating. Air conditioning was unsatisfactory.
Friendly staff, great location and clean room. We stayed for 3 days with private bathroom outside the room, we for good Valle for the money we spent. I will recommend this hotel for a short stay!
The location and the staff. It was clean also.
The bathroom was not convenient and very small.
