Featuring an outdoor pool, Abitalia Viareggio offers rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Lido di Camaiore’s sandy beach is less than a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 643 reviews Very good
UNA Hotel Versilia is set on the beach in Lido di Camaiore, providing free parking.
Score from 539 reviews Superb
Hotel President is on the seafront, a 10-minute walk from Viareggio Station. It offers attentive service, a large buffet breakfast, and discounts at a local beach club and swimming pool.
Score from 223 reviews Fabulous
Designed by the architects Belluomini and Chini, Hotel Marchionni has a striking Art-Nouveau design. Next to Viareggio's seafront promenade, it offers air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV.

Very nice hotel opposite the beach. Used the gym in the morning and had a swim in the pool which is great. Really good breakfast and friendly staff.
I like the breafast buffet a most.
LOCATION,TERRACE OF SUITE
COMMON AREAS LIKE BAR ARE NOT VERY WELCOMING (ALWAYS EMPTY AND SO NO STAFF)
Very good hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was impeccable. Great roof terrace.
shame the pool was indoors but not a draw back as beach is amazing. Need to buy one more candle burner in the warming tray to keep the scrambled eggs and sausages hot at breakfast.
Decent pricing, hotel was clean, staff were nice, bar man was happy to play with our little son whilst we had a drink, pool usage handy, good location on 'the strip'
Corridors seem a bit dated, some room furniture looked like a poor attempt at the 'distressed' look and looked more 'spilled coffee' but were clean, wi-fi good but not great at peak times
Suites with sea view which we used are very recommended in spite of the high price. Stuff is very attentive and friendly. The room is really big with very well organized and designed structure. Bathroom with bath is excellent. Breakfast is very good. We recommend to use free bikes and visit the beach natural park with sand dunes.
The road under the windows is a bit noisy if you want to enjoy the fresh breeze from the sea through the wall size open windows. But the noise is going down during the night. I would recommend to change solid chairs on the balcony on the soft beds for sunbathing.
The room was clean and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The solarium (the roof of the hotel) entrance way is used as a storage area for bedding and it was closed a lot of the time that we were there. But it does offer a nice view of the beach.
The 'Turkish bath' is a steam room the size of a cupboard. The 'hot tub' is a tepid Jacuzzi. On the bright side it's always empty - too cold to get into. The hotel manager insisted that Italian law prevents them from having a hot tub. The 'gym' is a joke. There are a few old machines. We couldn't find any that worked. There are some weights lying around. The heaviest is 10kg. Beach service not included. Which means that you have very little chance of getting a chair and umbrella on the beach because it's all booked out in the holiday season. Other hotels in the area include beach service in the room price.
The staff need to be more friendly and helpful to foreign visitors. They need to be taught how to care for your guests in these areas.
Too expensive for the quality you get.
The location is Great, and The breakfest was good.
The fee for parking in The hotell garage was 28 euros! This is next to robbery! The WiFi was terrible. We had to log in more than ten times. The password is 13 digits! And the air condition is noisy.
Excellent location. We were given a large suite with a very clean, updated bathroom. Suite was also air conditioned. We visted in June and were able to park on the street for 9 Euro a day. Visit the local Tobacco shop for a daily parking ticket. The hotel also loans out bicycles to guests. Great value and very relaxing stay.
The location was good.
The front desk staff were not very friendly and the rooms were not the standard that I expected from a 4 star hotel.
Breakfast, staff, clean&spacious room, service
Stayed in room in annex to main building of hotel. The room was really good. But it's more suitable for families or elder couples, not young couple.
Very nice breakfast on a terrace overlooking the sea. Nice room and very clean bathroom. Good location.
Very friendly people
This is an amazing property, you feel like you a visiting an old and loved friend. The staff are all amazing, the breakfast is a rare treat. Our cozy little patio was icing on the cake.
Can't think of a thing that we did not like or love!
The wi-fi connection should be for free in the entire location.
Breakfast and room were perfect, location is really good.
Staff is not so friendly. Parking is expensive.
The panoramic view on the sea.
The staff and the wellness center!
The quality of the hotel, very first class.
A little bit of distant muted noise on occasions, it may have been staff in certain areas of the hotel but wasn't a real problem.
Very clean. Great value for money.
Parking charge very high.
Compared to most hotels in italy I can recommend it. To me the location and the flair had something like miami in the 70' but in the positiv way although I just know the 70' from the movies;-)
The hotel is on the main street that runs along the sea and is situated in an excellent location. We had a room (more like a small suite) in a separate building from the main part of the hotel, but inside the small gated complex. The room was very nice and had a direct view of the sea. We only had to cross the street to find a large selection of restaurants of every type, stores and, most importantly, private beaches. The hotel has a wellness facility with fitness equipment facing the beach. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, the sauna and the jacuzzi enormously.
The two private beaches run by the hotel required a separate payment of €25/couple and did not provide bar service at our chairs as one would typically find at high-end private beaches in France or Portugal. Worse yet, all of the beaches allowed access by an army of presumably illegal African immigrants selling pirated products of every type and Chinese massagists with no license or hygene standards. We were litterally bothered every 2-3 minutes by someone selling something we had no interest in!!! We expected that a 3-4 star hotel would not allow its guests to be bothered in this manner at all by restricting access to clients-only!! We finally moved away from the main beach area to find a little peace, despite the high price we paid. Because this facility was so poor, our overall evaluation of facilities went from excellent to good. Parking is a problem everwhere, so parking in the hotel garage for €28/day was the only option. The best fish restaurant recommended by the hotel, the Romano, was extremely expensive and bad value for money. The other recommendations were, however, very good.
Nice room Staff very friendly and helpfull. We had a problem in our room and they change us room immediatly.
Very poor insonorisation - we hear absolutely everything in the other rooms.
