Astor Hotel  

Bardzo miła obsługa, mniej lub bardziej mówią po angielsku. Komunikatywni. Darmowy internet. Very, very kind staff. Most of them speaks english (more or less but can communicate). Free wireless internet. Journey from Bologna (blq) Airport to the hotel by taxi takes only about 10-20 minutes and costs 15-20Euro. Rather cheap comparing to quality - in the positive meaning of those words. I can reccomend it for those who want to spend a few days in Bologna and not pay an arm and a leg for a stay.

Internet was free but very slow. I'm not sure it's specific to Italian hotels but there vere not tea for breakfests :) And - big disadvantage for me - lack of electric kettle in the room.

The hotel was a good choise. Excellent braekfast, clean room.

It is a very nice hotel especialy for the price you pay the breakfast was very good the rooms are nice and not too small its only 15 min by walk from Bologna Centrale train station

its a litlle bit far from the city centre if you try to get there with walking

Room was nice , television had good choice of programs , location was perfect for trips to the city

Poor wifi connectivity although it was free of charge , we had to go to an internet cafe around the corner to navigate through internet.The breakfast wasn't good .

The Hotel Astor staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. The night clerk suggested places to shop for a phone, laptop, etc (I just moved here from the U.S.). The rooms are kept very clean. The bed is ideal, if you like a firm but comfy bed. There is air conditioning that you can control yourself, and the breakfast is extensive (5 euros, but all you can eat and the coffee is good). I would definitely stay here again. It is outside the city walls, but not far (take the 27 bus or just walk a bit, no problem). There is an internet cafe right accross the street to use computers, skype, etc. For the price, you can't do better. The neighborhood is safe, I walked home alone several times around 11pm and had no problems. Go to the outdoor market in Piazza dell'Otto Agosto on Friday and Saturday to get cheap clothes, shoes bags, etc, it is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

The room was very good for the price! I liked the stay. However, the shower space was insufficient and I did not quite have a 100% shower. I would have loved more space there.

As mentioned above.. Shower area is in sufficient. Browsing inside the rooms was bad. Often we would connect at 2 Mbps and stuff. Connection time out was the order. But who cares? I want to be away from Internet and therefore it is still fine with me.

A/C not working

This was not worth 60 euros. Very bad neighborhood, the hotel hasn't made any investments in the rooms since the seventies. Will not go there again. I wouldn't recommend it.

Excelente, el hotel es exactamente igual a lo anunciado, ni más, ni menos. Todo tal cual me lo indicaron, asi que súper confiable. Excelente descripción de booking.
