Hotel Astoria Garden  

Excellect hotel within easy reach from airport and sights of rome friendly staff very clean.

rooms are quite small but very clean and have TVs in them. staff are friendly and helpfull. Is only a few blocks from termini station but not noisey at all. Breakfast is average for continental hotels.

beds are very firm. Breakfast juices were not very nice.

We thought this hotel was great and it is in a good part near the train station, you don't have to go through a strange area to get to it (we found a short cut). The staff were excellent, the room we had was facing the garden, it was very quiet and quite nice. Breakfast was good, no complaints there. Close to everything for walking purposes and the bus for the airport is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We did find a fantastic old-world restaurant around 10 minutes away, but around the hotel there is nothing really good. There is a grocery story by the train station, but no refrigerator in the room, but that was ok. We will continue to come back to this hotel and hope our next experience is just as good. We highly recommend the hotel, and it is all non-smoking, which is even better.

Charming hotel with courtyard garden just minutes from the rail and metro station. Very helpful staff.

Very efficient staff. Good location 5mins from Termini. Nice breakfast.

The room was quite cold at night (we travelled in November).

We arrived early after such a long, exhausting flight. The first staff member we were first greeted by (I never caught his name, darn) was very friendly and nice enough to let us check in early. Left by his friendliness, we had such a positive outlook on our stay there. The staff were very accommodating to us. Room was on the smaller end and the housekeeper cleaned our room everyday, even when we didn't ask. On rainy days, they were kind to lend us umbrellas for our adventures. It's located near the termini station which is convenient for us. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. And included in our booking was buffet breakfast which was pretty standard. One thing I also loved was the staff were so friendly, they even remembered us. I would definitely recommend Hotel Astoria Garden for future references to friends and family and would love to revisit any day!

Room needs a little bit of a renovation

The room was comfortable, perfect for a short break. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and willing to help with anything we asked for. The hotel is very convenient for termini train station or Castro pretorio metro (2 stops to colloseum, 3 stops to tiburtina bus station (for bus to amalfi coAst))

Breakfast was average (although after travelling in Italy it seems most places offer the same kind of thing) If you wish to be going out and about towards the western side of the city(which isn't serviced by metro) then it can be a but of a pain from here - although you can catch busses across the city fairly cheaply/easily from termini
