The room was big and new
Wifi not available in rooms
Old rooms, needs renovation. Wi-fi is slow and only in reception.
Parking facility exelent.. good breakfast
little far from old town but bus transport ok
Clean, comfortable, cheap, great breakfast, WiFi in lobby wired internet in rooms. Not deserved of the ridiculous reviews, not that bad at all.
Location is a bit far and litter from fruit market isnt good but not much can be done about this. Perfectly fine if you have a car, you would probably never even see it.
Perfect breakfest, good price
Room size Staff eficiency
Dirtiness of the street Vecinity of an engross market
Situated between the prison and the fruit and veg depot, the streets are filthy and littered with rotting stinking fruit, veg and garbage. Situated 30 minutes walk from the town centre. The room stank of cigarettes smoke. Receptionists very unhelpful .
No WiFi in the room
Nice and clean room, great views from the room.
Maybe location, far from eerywhere, scarse public tansport.
the location - lot of trash around, smell is not so good.
Good for us with only 2 days to look round Palermo (our first visit to Sicily) and before going on to other parts of the country.
Alas on our first morning we set off for the centre and were shocked how dirty the streets were especially just down from the hotel by the fruit and veg. market. Sicily should clean up it streets!
On line said it had pool and didn't Locations not good at all right next to a food market very noisy and garbage all over Also far away from walking to town Hotel on the very edge
Cleanliness; Staff, on the arrival day; Room Conditions; Breakfast location lack of AC on my room; Lack of proactivity on problem solving. The list could go on, and on, and on...
The bar and restaurant were great. The room was silent. Our dog was welcome for free. We liked that the room had a tub.
A worker was very rude when we went out with our dog because he thought that the dog would poo close to the entrance. A better approach from the staff would be nice. Just ask what is going on before getting angry with the guests. We were just on our way to the car and had poo bags with us, which he saw.
Yes it is an old hotel but for the same price as any other B&B you get private parking, rich breakfast buffet and very comfortable bed. Would choose it before any B&B in Sicily.
Some things were broken, free wi-fi in common area only
Food was very good both breakfast and evening meals. Only friendly staff were in the bar.
No hotel info in room, some reception staff not English speaking. Bathroom towels etc not always replaced. Some of advertised facilities were not available.
hotel was out of date. needs refurbishing.
Everything was good.
No WIFI in the room
To start have someone smiling at the reception desk! People there were very unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms had just the beds a closet and a TV. No informations about the hothel, no phonebook for the hothel, the phones did not work and no internet connection. The computer could only be connected if going downstair in the lobby and reception was poor. No room for parking: one evening I had to park the car outside the hothel property! The location is unsafe with piles of garbage just outside the Hothel gate.
Near harbour and room in 7th foor with excelent view
Dirty market area near the hotel
Room was clean. Private car park. Value for money.
Staff was not particularly nice. We booked a double bed bedroom and we got two separate single beds. The Wi-Fi in only available in the hall area. For being a big hotel, breakfast was a bit basic. They didn't give much explanations about city-tax when we were requested to pay it, especially it isn't sound very clear when one comes from a place where this kind of tax doesn't exist.
Easy to park car. We don't mind walking so suited us to walk to main centre where we caught Hop On/Off bus then walked back to hotel. Ate at two local diners but not a lot of options if you don't want to eat at hotel restaurant
Free private parking Free wifi on reception Good breakfest Good price
Not very good bed (springs) Hotel is in very messy part of town Distance to center of town is about 40 minutes by walk
Breakfast (not enough refill), they didn't change the sheets, we had to ask daily for toilet paper, no wifi in the rooms
Bedroom clean and bathroom good shower comfy bed and airy room .
The area outside the hotel was rundown and the market beside hotel created dirt and rubbish .
