not recommaended for holiday , fruit market neardy start working at 3 a.m and very durty near the hotel ,there is not possibl to us the air conditon til june , staff not welcoming not 4 star hotel

For Palermo, a decent location, high above the street in a not especially scary neighbourhood. Staff was responsive when we asked to change rooms in order to get a double bed (as opposed to twins). Breakfast was not a disappointment. Room and bathroom ok, if a little dated. Decent though far from outstanding value for money.

The hotel is essentially an apartment block tossed up some decades ago, with all the charm that suggests. Ok for business or families, not recommended for romance.

Staff too busy with large tour parties to spend time in responding to individual request for infornation,not friendly or welcoming.. On departure I made my complaint to a staff member who was willing to listen. Our stay at the Costazurra in San Leone was excellent as the staff were really fantastici.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. Its very near to a traders market and a prison.

Absolute quality of service. As Americanos who spoke very little Italian, reception offered every assistance possible. The restaurant, porters, room service, amenities of spa and patio, views of the ocean, city shops all for bona viaggie.

The location of the hotel wasn't in the best part of Palermo and in order to get to the main tourist attractions you had to walk about 20 mins through some pretty disgusting streets. The hotel staff werent the friendliest either and apart from one, we found them all to be quite rude.

This hotel was great and definitely an oasis from an hectic mess of a city. When we arrived in Palermo from the ferry, the uncleanliness of the city made us very leary of what kind of hotel we might be staying in but once we stepped inside the doors of the hotel, that noise and grunge was left behind. If you must stay in Palermo, I definitley recommend this hotel. The only reason I rated this hotel with a fair rating for location was that Palermo was not the most desireable place to stay in, but it does serve as a good hub for traveling elsewhere.

Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast spread was excellent.
