Astoria Park Hotel  

Perfectly located to explore Riva in a relaxed style within a beautiful garden setting. Although we didnt take advantage of the health spa or beautiful swimming pool these facilities were available. The buffet breakfast was a treat with a gourmet selection of delicious food. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful in obtaining time-tables for the bus service etc.

Nice modern rooms and very good value for money ratio.

The spa was nice, the massage was great. The staff was quite helpful and since we checked in late at night they let us use the spa for free on the next day, after checking out.

The hotel is built in a very modern fashion which can sometimes feel very 'cold' and industrial-like. The are no carpets, in the room and in the corridors, which allows the noise to travel in between the rooms and from the corridors.

I liked the huge green garden around the hotel. I liked the spa, was very relaxing and the massages were great! breakfast had a nice open area outside. I liked the plain yoghurt for breakfast. It was nice to have a bike garage. Having the sound proof windows was great! Room was clean.

The underground parking - was too far from our room. The orange juice machine for breakfast was too much effort to operate. It would be better to have the juice already sqeezed.(Maybe the lady who makes crepes can do the juice freshly?) It would have been nice to have a place to rinse the mud off your bike. It would be nice to have English movies. I hate the soap dispenser in the bath. It was too high to reach when you are in the bath. Bath was very narrow. There are not enough signs around the lifts, telling you where to go, very confusing at first. It would be nice to have some hooks up in the room to hang your towels and clothes on.

The hotel is very good for families and couples who appreciate outdoor swimming pool and adjoining park area. Reasonable walking distance from town centre (10 min). Good breakfast with wide selection of different items, everything fresh and tasty. Spa area very nice for some quiet time and relaxation, hot stone massage was excellent and the spa staff most friendly.

The staff at reception were in general very friendly and helpful. However we experienced troubles with electricity in our room right upon arrival. Reception staff promised to fix things asap. After 1,5 hours we were still without any lights in the room and reported back to the reception again. In the meanwhile the person in charge of reception had changed and this young lady had a serious attitude issue with customer care and behaved in an unfriendly and almost hostile manner. Luckily the electricity issue was cleared very soon after loudly demandig service for paying customers. I was lucky not to have any further questions or requests for this particular reception person during the rest of our stay.

The room was great with a nice view from the balcony. Great pool, and lot of sunbeds. The brekfast had a good choice of everything, except vegetables. A girl made pancakes for you if you would like that. Bicycles for free. Great spa.

The girl in the reception was not very helpful, but the young man was very helpful, especially when we needed lockers for the bicyles..

The personnel at the reception - was excellent, they were friendly and offered information on how to go around the city and the lake. It just made u feel like home. There is free wifii, and the ammenities in the room were good.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Great variety.

The Wi-Fi did not work in the room and we were promised a cable that never came. We were not staying long enough for it to matter but annoying nevertheless.

Accomodation was very good and the staff spoke english very well. Breakfast was good. complex was very roomy and although we didnt get to use the outside pool it looked great. The use of the wellness centre was an added bonus.

One staff member on reception was not very pro-active when we complained that the wi-fi was not working in our room.

Location and scenery. How modern the interior was and how big the room was. Very good value for money

I will visit this hotel else one time.

Door locks are very noisy, this is a problem if you have juniors, that need rest.

Bello e moderno, colazione buona e abbondante belle le camere, la piascina e il giardino grandi e tranquilli nonostante la presenza di bambini, bello il centro benessere,gentile il personale

Unica pecca nel centro benessere (molto bello) permettono nella sauna e bagno turco misti di circolare "nudi", non sempre si ha piacere a condividere piccoli psazi chiusi con sconosciuti senza costume. Non ho potuto usufruire del servizio per questo motivo nonostante avessi scelto l'hotel anche per questo.
