Alexandra is a 3-star superior hotel on Rome's exclusive Via Veneto. Located just 165 ft from Barberini Metro Station, it offers a gazebo restaurant out on this famous street.
Score from 744 reviews Very good
Hotel Delle Muse is in the quiet Parioli district of Rome, a 20-minute bus ride from Termini Station. There is free internet access and a restaurant.
Score from 136 reviews Good
Offering free WiFi, Maison Flaminio is a 10-minute walk from Rome's Olympic Stadium and the Foro Italico. It features air-conditioned rooms and serves a sweet breakfast daily of croissants and coffee....
Score from 52 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Villa Glori is in the residential Parioli district, next to the Tiber River. The tram to Flaminio Metro Station and Piazza del Popolo stops 650 ft away.
Score from 414 reviews Very good
The hotel, staff, area and room were top notched. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was very helpful with a quided bus tours to Vatican and Coloseum. The neighbourhood was safe and clean with lots of great resturants.
I did not like anything I tried 3 hotels in rooms this was nightmare
Wifi disconnect every second/ there is no wifi Beds is not comfort Breakfast is limited and poor Location of hotel is not good In general bad hotel
Nice rooms, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, water in the fridge for free, excellent breakfast on the 5th floor.
The hotel is quite faraway from the centre.
Nice small rooms Good breakfast with a view Very helpful and nice staff
Location. Tram located at end of the street which was only a few stops to Flaminio. The Flaminio Metro is located beside the Tram. As not in main tourist area the price was very reasonable compared to hotels in the city centre.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. On the day of my departure, because it was an early departure, without asking, I was given a food pack. This was very thoughtful!!! It was very close to the main attractions and I found it easy to get around from Best Western Astrid.
The air conditioner did not work functionally (was cooling the room down, but not enough)
Location good, out of main centre but only 4 tram stops away , about 10 mins to the edge of the attractions. Reception staff helpful, bedroom was large, 3 of us sharing but plenty of room. Good choice at breakfast .
When items ran out at breakfast not replaced by the staff without asking. One morning no saucers, no spoons, no bowls no Orange juice . They did give you items when asked but need to keep a closer eye on things .
Location is ideal to access Rome via tram and car.Terrific wine bar and restaurants (Tree house). Safe and quiet. Better to stay at Face to Face hotel around the corner
Elevator is appalling, breakfast average and staff did not seem very enthusiastic.
Very close to public transport.
Supremely helpful staff with regards to lending bicycles and organising car hire. Lovely views.
location very good
Room very small, not what we were expecting, not shown to be as small in picture, but ok as we only used it as a base
Bike available to borrow, nice location on the river. Good staff.
Very small shower but not a major issue.
Liked the hotel location and friendly staff. They are very helpful and very close to the tramp station where you could take it Flamino and take the bus or metro to any place you need to go. Remember to get Roma bus and metro passes for 1.5 euro each valid for one metro trip and any bus or tramp for 100 mints from 1st trip. The shops close by 6:30pm so you need to get them before that.
Toilets are very small. Breakfast is limited to boiled eggs, 2 cold meats and 1 kind of cheese.
The view from the breakfast room is spectacular! Good breakfast. Very helpful staff at reception.
The location is great. The hotel is a little far away from Rome's landmarks but you can go there walking or by taking the tram. It is located in a very nice residential area and close to the Tevere river. The minibar was free, and that was a nice surprise.
The room was small. We traveled with our baby and the crib left little room to move.
The staff was excellent! We also enjoyed the location because it was just north of the very touristy areas of Rome so we experienced meals at night with lots of locals at more authentic restaurants instead of tons of tourists. The Metro system was just a very short tram ride away to connect to anywhere we wanted to go. If you like running, there is a trail on the Tiber just outside of the hotel. The free breakfast was a great plus too!
The Wi-Fi was very flaky. It disconnected a lot and was a pain to log into constantly just to view a website if we wanted to look up information on activities or tourist sites. Because we loved everything else about this hotel, we would deal with the bad Wi-Fi...the positives outweigh this one small negative.
We upgraded to a superior room and it had everything to make our stay comfortable: Spotless cleanliness, a really comfortable bed and pillows, nice shower and bathroom, a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee and even a minibar with a free daily refill of bottled water. At request, you can get anything else you might need, like an iron or extra amenities for the bathroom. The staff was super friendly, specially the girls at the Front Desk, Marie and Alessia.
For being a superior room, we found it a little small (yet cozy) and it only had view into an inner yard so you could see each other with other guests who had their windows open (bummer). Even though I can't fault the hotel's location, its kinda hard to be reached since you depend solely on the tramway from Piazza del Popolo, so sometimes we were forced to do up to 3 changes to get back to the hotel, a little tiring after a long day walking throughout Rome and the least thing you wanna do is to struggle with the confusing Roman transportation system.
Near to the sport club which we had a jiujitsu competition. Free wifi. Fair breakfast
The rooms are small and small toilet. A/c is off in april and my room has no street view so air entering to my room, it was very hot. Nothing important thing around the hotel ( far from the down town).
We stayed at the hotel Astrid for two nights and we were very impressed by the whole experience. The hotel is outside the main city centre but we managed to get into the centre in 10 minutes via a tram which is two minutes walk from the hotel. With it being outside the centre you do not pay the high prices they charge and we found it a nice experience to take the tram in the morning which seem to run every 5 minutes and only cost €1.50. The hotel has lovely rooms overlooking the river which were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very good and the views from the breakfast room delightful. The staff were helpful and attentive and there are some excellent local restaurants in the surrounding streets. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again when I return.
breakfasts were very good, staff were all helpful and very friendly and obliging, view from breakfast room was very memorable.local restaurants good and varied. we even liked the characterful lift!Local roads quiet at night.
Good hotel with small but sufficient breakfast. Nice view from the Breakfast room Easy to reach from Plaza del Popolo by foot (20 min. ) or by tram (Four stations).
The greatest thing about Hotel Astrid is clearly the free mountain bikes. They can get you around all of Rome in a couple of hours!! Walking is cozy but takes ages! If you are familiar with riding a bike in a greater city its perfect! Just remember lights for the bike.. There is approx. 9 km from the hotel to Sct. Peters church and back which is a nice morning run along the river. You can also run in the "Borghese" garden nearby.. Highly recommendable!! The staff, accommodation and cleaning are all fine, but the bikes is what have made us pick that hotel this second time..
The breakfast coffee is not very good… I would rather have instant coffee if it was available but had to put up with some kind of Polish "coffee"… Maybe leftovers from the war…? Also, I find it strange that all breakfasts in Rome consists of 50% cakes.. Even the "regular" croissants are sprinkled with sugar!?! But hey.. if that is the only negative things there is to say… then the hotel is not so bad!! Right?
Good location, friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Clean hotel.
Shower so too small. Just for a child to fit in.
shower cubicle was too small
nothing at all
