Die Lage.

Wir haben das Zimmer-Nr. 182 für die Hälfte gebucht, Als Grund wurde eingegeben: "Letzte Chance! Es ist nur noch 1 Zimmer verfügbar". Es stand nicht, dass es sich hier um ein minderwertiges Zimmer handelt. Das Doppeltbett ist 140 breit und dazu ziemlich unstabil (bewegte sich mit bei Umdrehungen). Der Eckschrank mit vier Bügeln ist eher was für 1 Person. Das Bad sehr klein. Eine etwas korpulentere Person hätte Schwierigkeiten sich zu duschen. An der Decke im Bad (rechts, oben) gibt es Feuchtigkeit (Schimmel?). Die Klimaanlage tropfte, so dass unsere Handtücher nass waren und wir einen Mitarbeiter des Hotels rufen mussten. Insgesamt war das Zimmer dunkel (zu wenig Licht/Lampen). Wir haben die 4 Sterne gesucht, leider nicht gefunden.

Sylvia the breakfast waitress deserves a mention. always happy to see you in the morning and nothing was too much trouble for her.

safe in room not working or heated towel rail and it was cold!!But on mentioning this to front desk, was offered a choice of 2 further rooms, which was fine,and I moved rooms staff moved luggage for me.

The location of the hotel is close to the historical center, but some windows look on the noisy street. The room is rather good, but the size is not very big. The breakfast is good.

The room was clean and quiet, a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The location is good, close to the main train station and within easy walking distance of the centre.

My only real criticism was that there was no full length mirror or chest of drawers in the room and the breakfast was limited but for the rate I can't complain too much!

It was ideal location for all the tourist attractions,and only minutes walk to the train station and bus terminus

Nice hotel in the center of the city of Florence, near the most attractive places of the city. Very friendly and helpfull staff, and good breakfast. The douple room was comfortale with a nice terrace and clean.

internet access was expensive (10E for 24h), should be for free for hotel customers. A little bit expensive.

Excellent location short walk from central station, right near the main street market and close to Duomo

No way this is a 4 star hotel, breakfast is minimal, cereal and some bread rolls, however very good coffee. Bed was so uncomfortable was 2 singles pushed together however one of them the springs were almost popping through the top so we ended up squashing onto one of them. Bathroom was up a set of steep steps in the room. Also hotel is very dark, the windows are covered with shutters and considering the gorgeous weather in florence it would have been nice to see the sun in the room.

Location is great, near railway station and Duomo. Excellent room, nice new bathroom, air condition. Good breakfast, good staff, this trip was so good that we will go again!!!

Excellent situation. Room was nice and quite big, bathroom new and breakfast good and you can choice your own coffee. We can go again.

Nice, comfortable hotel in the middle of the historic centre. Everything on walking distance. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is a little pover but meets international standards, Italians aren't used to a very extended breakfast.

The photos posted by another customer were exactly what I got. The room was spacious for an Italian hotel. The stand-up shower was built into the tiled wall and had an accordion door. Compared to the U-shaped shower curtains I had at other Tuscan hotels, this bathroom was a treat! Plus, there was air conditioning in the room, which was great because of the unseasonably warm weather.

There was one lazy fly in the room that was slow enough for me to swat. I read enough reviews on line to be prepared for worse.

Close location to S.M.N. Railway Station, cafe/ restaurant and shop, warm and cold breakfast, attentive staff

limited space for car park.
